Clear notifications

Tbh sometimes I don't wanna go check on a thread to go clear it from my notifications? Could there be an option to clear notifications?
Niet has said before that the notifications are there to notify you, and wont go away until you actually check them.
I'm gonna try to find where I saw this, so I can get the exact quote from Niet.

All you have to do is view the last page of a forum to get rid of the note. Not hard.
