Shiny Chain Bug?

I got done hunting Seviper and decided to start hunting Ekans, but I've hatched 6 Ekans without using an Egg Pass (which should've broken my chain) and the shiny hunting page still shows my unbroken Seviper chain from before
The Type Race is currently underway, and during the Type Race eggs that match your team's type do not break your chain, if your current chain is longer than 2. To manually break your chain and start a new one, you can go to the Shiny Hunting page, go to the Pokéradar tab, then open the box at the bottom of the page that says "Danger Zone", and click "Force-reset Radar Chain".
