Is "perfect" watering (never letting it go damp) actually required for Nectar to drop, or is that just a rumor? I want a Pointe Oricorio, but I'm simply not checking the game all day long.

It's not letting it go dry, iirc. And yes it is needed.

Well, that sucks. People have jobs and can't always check their plants every hour or two. :/

You have the option to purchase Damp Mulch to prolong the process of berries growing in trade with letting the soil to stay moist a bit longer. That way, you don't have to check the garden too frequently.

Also, longer growing berries require water less often.

If the goal is to get a Pointe Oricorio, you can just buy one (or a green nectar) from someone as well ^^ You don't /need/ to obtain it yourself, if time is a concern.
