That One Time I Almost Died Part Two

A little more information if anyone’s interested:
The water slides were really curvy and tall-rimmed—which made it virtually impossible to see if something was blocking your way once you rid down. One kid apparently didn’t know that or was to dumb to care, so he tried climbing back UP the water slide after he’d already ridden down. He succeeded in climbing a little past the halfway point before being completely wiped out by another camper riding down the slide. The second kid didn’t really get hurt, but they had to rush the first one to the ER to get stitches for his face. They closed the pool down after that. If only they had someone to watch for out and prevent accidents like that....oh wait.

ooh, close one. My house once got raided and I ended up losing some of the food I had just bought! I almost died in that too, and yup, that's it. And then my pet scratched me so hard I had to sleep in. I woke up to a red blanket and I screamed.

It's a shame some can't do their job right, especially when it involves keeping people safe. I worked at a holiday camp for a while operating the pool's slide. The lifeguards there were good, they'd leap the moment they saw someone struggling.
