What's the deal with AVG here then? I didn't get any pop-ups yesterday afternoon (server time), but I am getting them again now. Edit to add: I just got a pop-up accessing the Wishforge page, so player profiles are not the problem here.

AVG is a subsidiary of Avast, so... probably the same deal.

also worth noting that most browsers nowadays can also prevent you from accessing sites that are known to be dangerous! depending on the browser you can also make it so you can only connect to sites with a valid security certificate (https domains) just a pro tip for people on pc: use the extension ublock origin. you don't really need it on pokefarm since there are no ads or stuff like that but it is an absolute lifesaver otherwise, and it helps block malicious urls and popups if that is something you're worried about! best adblocker by far.

Are you able to tell us which file hosting service did that? A lot of file hosting is used to hold images and font packs for custom codes so it would be good to know which websites to NOT use for that. the ones i personally use are dropbox for fonts and imgur for images, and i’ve heard good things about file garden though i haven’t tried it

Unfortunately, I haven't found anything like that (the closest thing they have is a patreon page). So I guess it's understandable that it'd get flagged (although the only things I host on the service are image files and audio files).

There's your true answer. Avast has a very friendly relationship with Google's money, and you're using what is essentially a competitor. Some of that incompetence may actually be disguised greed.
