I have been going through discord, forums, reviews etc, i gotta say, I haven't experienced the unprofessional behavior of mods, admins and the big dog "niet" but the amount of people saying the same thing over and over made me feel disappointed. I wanted to explore the pokemon franchise and have some fun, and I thought a easy site game like PFQ would be fun the old media lay out, the amazing art, the cute fakemons, and the "albino" n "Melan" feature of the site drew me in. though, I don't mind slow progress or grindy ish games, but the hypermode and the endless boosts you need for a slimmer of luck for getting a special pokemon was odd to me, yet I ignored it. now that I pay more attention to it, it's indeed expensive, while i agree that money is needed for keeping up servers and I'm no game dev to experience the stress and hardwork of it, but limiting stuff behind paywalls is unfair and even more bitter if you call PFQ a "free site" yes its free to play but pay to win. it's sad since I'm extremely new to PFQ and wanted to explore the community, I haven't been through the prime of PFQ or PF1 to feel the disappointment of old players, but it's still saddening. I also heard PFQ is kind of abandoned and is left out for new media, cool thing, working on new things can be refreshing and exciting, but ignoring your user base and being rude to them is extremely bitter. I have no idea how old niet is, but looking through forums, I agree that he isn't the best at controlling his behavior, I haven't looked at other mods and admins to analyze their behavior so I'll leave it at that. overall, its kind of sad to see, especially when I was so interested and excited about PFQ.

heehee, i've been playing for like a week but it doesn't mean I don't know how to play it because Pokefarm has really easy gameplay, and the game environment just feels like a real Pokemon game. 5stars

I've been on the website for a while now and even after loosing interest I find myself coming back! all the events and tournaments each week definitely help with making goals and finding something to do!

i was on the original PokeFarm site, and i play on here every so often. im not very involved in the forums or community, but i read the news posts. the staff seem committed to trying to keep the game interesting and fair for all players, and do their best to take public opinion into account. niet, the guy who writes all the code, also seems like hes doing his best to make sure the site runs smoothly and has interesting gameplay. while i personally havent been a fan of *every* change or addition, i respect the staff's attempts to make the updates as pleasant as possible for everyone. given the massive userbase and the very different kinds of people Pokemon fans can be, i think this site has done its best to keep up. forum interaction is also optional, although i should note that other players are willing to trade for currency and items that can be otherwise hard to get. if you like idle games, clickers, and collectibles, youll probably like this site!

Love this website, love the people, love the pokemon, love everything about it! Been on here for many years and still here because of how great it is. I love the fact that you can find and hoard pokemon with (basically) no limit of how many you can have. Much easier to find shinies and there's more variants than just them! Also, it keeps me up to date with the newer pokemon since I'm usually behind a game or 2 these days...Thank you for the awesome game!

This is SUCH a fun fangame, one of my favorites, i mean ive been playing every day that i can since i joined!!! for thee second time.

Now, of course, if you gave me any of the little pocket monsters as pets i'd be happy. But here, we've got forums, all dem pokemon, a Wiki teaching me how to use bbcode- i mean, a whole Wiki for the site, and the pixel art is amazing! But i do get grumps when something is locked behind zophan canisters. But otherwise 12/10 would recommend!

This game is fun, but really hard to complete. It seems like the only way to do so is to pay for hypermode and Zophan canisters.

I’ve been playing this since the first Pokefarm. Honestly…..it’s a decent adoptable game. There are better games such Howrse.com and Chickensmoothie.com (which I spend most of my time on) out there, but this is okay. A fun little time passer while suffering no consequence if you drop it anywhere from a day to a year on purpose or by mistake. I’ve heard negative stuff about the staff at times but ignore it because I don’t interact with staff which is fine. No big loss there. I like a lot of the season events like Halloween, Easter and a few of the special ones that happen from time to time. The only event that really got me hot under the collar was when Kinaster first came out because I was unable to finish it due to not being able to finish one of the later objectives….but se le vie. Don’t care. I can breed my own Kinaster army if I wanted. Z-Crystals aren’t worth it to me because they never work. Tournament prices are a bit pricey for new stuff. I like that I’m getting Zophan free every so often after logging in now, big change and help there. So yeah. Over all…..it’s okay and cute to pass time.
