Maxing out melan chance

So for example, If I had a say 500 chain, I activated level 7 albino radar, popped a z crystal, shiny charm, and uuber charm, would I basically be guaranteed to hatch a melan? Or is it so rare I would need to have 2 or 3 trys of that? Thinking about making a big melan push for something soon just want to guage how much recources I need.

Even at maximum odds, you're never guaranteed a melan in a set number of eggs. Sometimes it takes 50, sometimes it takes 5000. If you're serious about getting a melan, it's generally good to have: - Arceus rank, so you can use the Long Chain Bonus (not required, but certainly helps) - An Ubercharm - A rotation of at least a few shiny charms so you can have them active constantly - A constant cycle of Z crystals - Enough interaction points to have a level 7 albino radar daily
