Greetings, team Black Hole Eclipse!

Intrepid travellers, tread carefully. Just because they choose to live in the darkness does not mean they fear the light. Heya everyone! Welcome to the Black Hole Eclipse [Dark Type] team thread! I'm Azurealis, but you can call me Azu! <3 If chosen, this will be my hosting a type race! I'm super excited to work with you all, and I just know we're going to do great things this Type Race! This month, the Type Race will last from Sunday, May 12th through Saturday, May 18th! Though it can be an exciting time, and I'm sure everyone will be chasing those sweet sweet specials, make sure to always put yourself first! Stay hydrated, don't skip your meals, get plenty of sleep, and don't give yourself carpal tunnel by clicking too much! As much as I'd love for us to come out on top, your health is worth far more! On top of that, make sure to follow all the site rules and TR rules! You can view the TR rules here if you are new to Type Race or simply need a reminder! Also, when it comes to items, only shelter/supplier passes and Red Gigaremos are able to be lended for Type Race! TR Tips and Tricks!

For new users especially, Type Race can be source of confusion. Where to even start? No need to stress! For beginner Type Racers, here are 3 easy steps to start the TR strong! 1. Suit your playstyle! If you are more of an AFK/idle player, you may be better off leaving high EXP eggs in your party to hatch while you are not online. Alternatively, if you are a more active player, you can try maxing out your egg timer and mass-hatching low EXP eggs. 2. If you are not hunting a specific pokemon, the shelter is your best friend! Try using the QoL (found in Farm > Options > Userscripts) to locate specific types in the Shelter! The lab can also be helpful, just make sure you have plenty of lab refreshers on hand! 3. Remember to have fun! If Type Race isn't your thing, that's completely fine! No need to burn yourself out doing something you don't want to <3 Any egg that is Dark type will not break your chain this TR, so if you don't have a specific pokemon in mind you can simply casually hunt randoms!

Shelter CSS

The original type race CSS was created by bishop, but here is an updated version, made by pheaux. Here you can find custom CSS, that you add to your site skin and that will highlight all eggs of your type race team, so they are easier to find. To add it go to 'Farm' > 'Other Links' and select 'Site Skins' under the tool-section. If you use the default skin, you need to create a new skin first. Then follow the instructions in the post.
