Quick Field Guide for Visitors
Types of fields are:
-Single flavor fields will be named for their flavor.
-(all): Single stack, all the different berry flavors.
-(any): Single stack, Any berry flavor.
-(uns): Unstacked
Stack neatness may vary.
Unstacked critters are ones that I like to see/find.
If fields are hidden, I'm reorganizing them.

Helpful Tips for Brand New Players
Unlock Your Summons
&
Participate in Events
Do things at your own pace, of course. It's a game. Meant to be fun. Just know that - especially when you are new - the best way to earn items, currency, access to more places, rare pokemon eggs and the ability to hatch eggs more quickly is to participate once in awhile in any of the regularly scheduled events here.
To find out what events are underway, Read the News and/or Visit the Event Links
Use the Forums
-Ask questions in the Help forums.
-Look for more tips in the Guide forums.
-The Trade forums is a place where you can post what you are looking for AND see what others are either selling or giving away.
QoL= Quality of Life
And you can turn it on here
Self Reminders
-Want to raise happiness of Delta types? Ignore Delta type.
-Want to find extra stuff when harvesting berries? Have full party of Rimbombee.
More Helpful Tips
OT = Original Trainer
-In this game you are the OT of any pokemon that you hatch, catch or adopt from the shelter.
-Pokemon that are gifted, traded or wonder traded to you are more likely to have different OTs.
-If you can find a pokémon in the shelter that has already been gifted, traded or wonder traded then you will not become it's OT if you adopt it.
-If you are trying to build a highly compatible breeding pair for the daycare, there are a lot of factors involved. Gender, level, happiness, egg group... It helps a lot though if the pokemon that you are using have OTs that are 1) not you and 2) different from each other.
IV and EV = numbers that tell you how strong the pokemon is. -Each pokémon has a battle tab on their profile page. Look there to see what their IVs, EVs and base stats are. -IV = inherited values. 6IV or IV 186 means that a pokemon was born with perfect 31 in all 6 of its stats. Which means that it 1) will naturally do a little better in battles and 2) may be bred for strong offspring. -EV = experience values. These are gained by sending a pokemon to train in the dojo. So even a pokemon with weak IVs can get stronger this way.
