Here's a quick rundown of my basics when it comes to RP, taken from my post in the 'Written Adventures - A Roleplayer's Clan'

Username: Sioraiocht What is your preferred genre?: Fantasy/Medieval Fantasy, occasionally up for more niche, slice-of-life or sci-fi things. Also open to ideas. What is the preferred length of your posts?: I try to match my partner's comfort level for posting length if I can, but I can easily average between a paragraph and three. Do you have a place where you collect your OCs?: I used to on Charahub, but unfortunately that kind of blew up. So for now, no, but a work in progress. I’d love to see a roleplay example:

Opening Scene In Amara's Store?

Tonight was calm thusfar. At least as far as most days at the shop were considered. A young woman was stealthily trying to enjoy her delivery dinner while minding the front end's patrons. A couple of people were browsing, and someone remained over on the seats thumbing through a prospective purchase. The most eventful it had been since her parents stepped out for their time away was having to gently chastise and kick out a small group of teens for the night for, again, trying to summon something in that small reading area, which they thought would escape her notice. One being gutsy enough to even laugh and point out that she'd told them before that the most effective magick was performed in threes, and they were just 'following instructions'. Honestly, the pizza was a much deserved reward after that. But, the food's scent was easily overpowered by the bulk of what existed in the building. Just that storefront had flowers and plants scattered, candles, incense, and somehow still the scent of new books. The older ones were tucked away from the window so they would hold form a bit better. Still...it didn't take long for the patrons she had to clear out for the most part, either. It still seemed like some were embarrassed to be seen leaving with how quickly they fled.

I will always be happy to talk RP. I love writing so it is one of my absolute favorite passtimes. Seriously. I will welcome any PMs or invites about it, too.

Sio's Characters Upon Arriving to a New Town

Amara Rainecourt (Modern time period/the version from the exerpt) [human witch] - Probably behave much like a typical tourist; scope out the food, the shops, the scenery...and if it was permanent, she's also flighty enough to wait until AFTER arriving to find somewhere to stay. Be it a hotel/motel or an actual apartment. Amara Rainecourt (Medieval time period/OG) [human witch]- Would be a bit of the same, but a bit more...reserved. Quick. Pleasant but stealthy. She'd take care of whatever shopping needed done for her survival, then would probably end up in the woods again. Karin Arvellas (Modern time) [elven altruist] - She also probably wouldn't have made too many plans beforehand, but her stalker-...er...best friend/guardian likely would have because she's an airhead. Whenever they settled in, she would 1000% want to check out all of the 'nature' in the area. Parks, large gardens, nature reserves, the zoo... Karin Arvellas (Medieval time) [elven ranger] - If they aren't there to find a new place to live, exactly, her first thoughts would be to check out the taverns for work. Unlike her mercenary lover, her job list is considerably shorter. Escort through rough terrain, hunting dangerous creatures (despite a deep love for animals), manual labor for those who need help... But much like her older counterpart, she'd still definitely be running around in whatever nature, still. This younger version also has a habit of climbing RIDICULOUSLY high trees/climbing up onto rooftops for footing to do so, so it wouldn't be hard to lose sight of her quickly.

While there isn't a currently established place to challenge the gym, given I'm in the process of setting up, there is a thread about the concept and characters for informational purposes, as well as (hopefully) to set up an RP in that setting. You can find it here~

Starting way back in Gen 1, my Pokemon adventures began in Pallet Town with my trusty copy of Yellow. Since then, I've been absorbing content where I can. Sometimes that entails writing or RP, sometimes that involves forming a new Pokemon 'League' with friends. I'm still a bit of a sucker for the 'evil' teams, but I'm also happy to just kick back in Lental and take photographs for Professor Mirror. Team Rocket was orinally the one that got away and broke my little heart. Being asked to join so young, only to have an honest 'yes' tossed aside. Gah. Since then, I've been an avid fan of Team Aqua and it's majestic Legendary Pokemon, as well as Team Yell. Though in Yell's particular case, it was the humor that won the day. There was also a rather lengthy amount of time where I admired Cipher and Snagem for being a (seemingly) more effective Team Rocket. I joined Team Valor with the release of Pokemon Go, though Instinct was a close secondary call. My first ever shiny caught (legitimately) was a Sabeleye, who was later named Samhian, but I tend to be associated with Eevee and it's Shiny variant more often than anything.
