Did you know? When shiny hunting a Pokémon, a hidden Shelter boost applies. Each time you reload the shelter, there is a chance that one of the eggs is replaced with an egg that you're hunting, if it exists. This boost starts at chain 1 and caps at chain 100, with a boost of 50%. That's why it seems really easy to start finding your own eggs in the shelter after a while =)

a long time ago, when i was touring hollywood and signing contracts, i met someone i knew but didn't know. i wondered and wondered who he was, admittedly a bit nervous to approach him and simply ask. my partner at the time, bless her, knew the answer but was just enjoying watching me chew on this for far longer than i needed to. that someone, as it turned out, was none other than James Cameron. i remembered the moment he locked eyes with me... but i still couldn't recall why he was such a big deal. being the businessman that i am, i went up to him, shook his hand eagerly, and introduced myself. we exchanged our hellos and i jovially asked him, "say, i can put the face to the name but not the name to the credits. please remind me: what are you known for?" he responded: avatar made by me 🙄
