Literally the only reason Ember was part of my team in Shield was that Arcanine was one of my most favourite pokemon as a kid. Ember was a hard hitter and the reason why I couldn't use an Arcanine in a Nuzlock as he'd faint often. (I am a bad trainer). Ember got on well and ended up having a stronger bond with Skiz then me. Skiz and Ember as a duo was disastrous as they both took out pokemon with ease. they both stayed next to eachother for this reason.
