Roamer's Rapidash

The trainer's sixth Pokemon. He proved to be very fast and powerful in battle. Rapidash traveled with his trainer around the world, always taking the opportunity to gallop freely through vast plains. His trainer noticed early on that he would look longingly over horizons. When it continued, the trainer decided to talk with his Pokemon about it close to where he had originally met and caught him in Kanto. That plan was botched however when a sudden rescue mission occurred. During the rescue, Rapidash's Pokeball was knocked out of his trainer's hand and destroyed. Despite this, Rapidash remained at his trainer's side. Shortly after the successful rescue mission, the trainer led his Rapidash out into the fields, and gestured to the plains, offering the Rapidash's freedom. Surprised and hesitant, a long and sad farewell took place. The trainer revealed that he knew of Rapidash's longing, and wished more than anything for him to live how he wanted to. With this, Rapidash regained his composure and gave a final cry of farewell, before galloping off into the vast plains. A single tear fell down the trainer's cheek, but he wiped it away. With a smile, he turned, and traveled to the city nearby. Although the Rapidash was now free, he refused to forget his trainer. The trainer has revisited Kanto twice since then, and both times, the Rapidash tracked him down and traveled with him through the remainder of his stay. The trainer could tell that he had made the right choice, as Rapidash was clearly happy with his current life. He also drew peace from the fact that Rapidash obviously enjoyed the time he had spent with him.
