Name meaning: The name Hazel is a girl's name of English origin meaning "the hazelnut tree". Hazel is a name applied from the English word hazel, referring to the hazelnut tree. The word was derived from the Old English hæsel of the same meaning. Historically, a wand of hazel symbolized protection and authority. Story: Hazel or Hazelnut as her trainer likes to call her is the drama queen of the honeypot team but enjoys chasing birds like any other dog would. Hazel the Furfrou was born in Hazel Grove under the biggest Hazelnut tree there was with just her mother and some other Furfrou families until one day her mother disappeared then Hazel was all alone until Demetrius and Bartholomew discovered her and then brought her to meet Ice Queen and the rest of the honeypot team where she was then adopted and added to the team.
