BorealisLights's Sparrow

An adventurous Pikachu with a heart of gold. Named after a famous pirate of legend by his trainer and captain of an unknown mercinary group. His trainer, a long time sailor and veteran of the seas took an immediate liking to the then pichu when his crew went ashore in Anistar City Kalos. Edward Kenway wasnt planning on capturing or adopting any pokemon, but the tiny Pichu had incredible sea legs and even loved to swim by the docks. He was shy, but very friendly to Ed when they first met. The crew was staying in port for a few days with the little pichu constantly climbing onto the boat and up to the crows nest. When those five days in port were up, everyone in the crew was devistated to leave the funny lil fella behind. They didnt want to fight over who was going to catch him, but the Pichu refused to leave when Ed tried to leave him back in Anistar. Pichu immediately evolved into Pikachu when he refused to leave, jumping onto Ed's shoulder with a firm resolve to stay there. The captain laughed happily at the sight, naming the little fellow Sparrow and casting off for the blue yonder. Sparrow was officially caught by Ed later that day, but spent all his time outside his pokeball. Months later they landed in Slateport City to bring supplies to Doc in the shipyard. A trip to the pokemon center came with a strange revelation about Sparrow. The reason why he was never seen using electricity, but was terrified of fire and flying types was because he was a Bug Delta Pikachu. Deltas were usually found in very remote, isolated islands across the world, so finsing one in Anistar was an oddity. As they left the pokemon center, a pokemon contest had just let out. Vendors were selling an array of costumes for contest purposes. Sparrow fell in love with the seafaring outfit and Ed immediately bought it. He'd never live down the laughter of dressing Sparrow in a contest costume, but it was obviously the best one he could have chosen. The rest has yet to be written...
