Addictive, easy to play.

One of the major complaints I see about this game is the staff. As someone who played PF1 when I was younger, and who had run-ins with staff and was around for all that hullabaloo, you guys aren't giving them a fair shake. It is the staff's job to support Niet's decisions and, in turn, support him and keep the site running smoothly. Niet has come SO FAR in the whole PR department since PF1; he's doing well enough that I had to write my own review contradicting the staff complaints I've seen. He's improved; he will only continue to improve. The staff gets an A from me - some room for improvement, perhaps, but they've already come far enough to get a passing grade. As for the actual game, my perspective may be a bit skewed. Full disclosure: I am an adult, with time on my hands and money I am willing to spend on this game, and have. I have never tried this game without spending money, because that's just how I prefer to play the game, as well as wanting to support it. However, I have had a wonderful experience so far. Doing hunts is just what I enjoy doing, and it's a very enjoyable part of this game. So, what don't I like? There are some things I wish the site would improve on, which are the following: -Delta Pokemon: Increase odds of delta specials, increase delta points earned from trading in shinies, visually add something to Pokemon of each delta type, SOMETHING. I love the thought of delta Pokemon - I am hoping one day to obtain a Fairy type albino Ardik, but the effort in obtaining them is too much compared to their value. There is nothing special about them - nothing that gives them value in the market for how hard they are to obtain. When buying the shinies required to trade in for even a 100 egg hunt would cost in the millions of Cr, and no user wants to buy the results, it's a letdown. If points were adjusted OR something visually was added (even if it was just replacing one of the sprite's colors with orange for fire, for example, something THAT simple), I would be way more happy with this feature. -Breeding Exclusives: Breeding old exclusives should not be as difficult as it is. Even dropping it by a fraction each season after their release (starting from 1/8, 1/7 the next season, etc) would help so much. It may just be me, as an Ardik enthusiast, but the fact that I would probably average 1 egg per 6,400 clicks with a high-percentage pair is frankly ridiculous for Pokemon that aren't even from this or the last season. The Red Gigaremo drops happiness by too much to make it of any use for exclusives, either, because the happiness drops so quickly. I am currently saving GP for a future long Ardik hunt because daycare'ing exclusives is unbearable. I can't imagine how it would be for people who don't average 20k+ clicks a day. Still, if I were to pay real life money for enough GP for 100 Ardik eggs (8,400), even just that few, it would come out to more than $79 USD. I realize it's not the only way to obtain GP, but just for the sake of argument. -Community Events: The community goal for the type race is currently set too high. We came close - 98% - in January, and that's a month and time when a LOT of people were off the first half of the month to begin with. What's it going to be like in, say, March or April, when everyone is in the dead of school? It's only ONE z-crystal. It should at least be doable in the off-months, not JUST months when school isn't in session... even then, in December and January, it WASN'T doable. Those are my main complaints about this game. Otherwise, it has been a treat. I really do enjoy this game, don't get me wrong. Exclusive Pokemon are meant to be hard to get, community events too, but I just feel that they could be heavily improved on. By the time you read this review, Niet may have already tweaked something, though. We get CONSTANT high-quality updates and Niet is more active than perhaps any site owner I've ever seen. Props to him. I was considering giving four stars instead of five, but really the game as-is deserves five stars from me. I'm here all the time; I play it far more than my money's worth, and enjoy every second of it. My personal preferences on delta Pokemon/exclusive breeding/community goals aren't something that will be shared by everyone, so it's not a knock against the site. Give it a try, but be warned - you might have more fun than intended.

it is the best game ever everyone needs to play it

This game is great!

I joined this game about(?) a year ago to find a game that involved pokémon as I could never afford an official game. I immediately fell in love with this game which surprised me because after a month of just about any game I get bored of it and leave. To this day I have yet to get bored of it. Not to mention the staff and just other players in general. I've always been too shy to talk to anybody in "games like these" just because people usually are kinda mean/rude however here the players are super helpful/kind and I usually have some pretty fun/interesting conversations with players here. Not to mention the staff are pretty cool as well, I haven't had a reason to bother them yet but from what I've seen, they're kind, respectful and professional. As for the game itself the art is amazing and they do awesome events sometimes (there's always something to do here)! This game is pretty good for the aspect of just relaxing as you don't have to worry about feeding your pokémon every day just so that they won't die (especially for those who hoard pokémon). I have so many other things to say about what I love about this game but I should leave it here otherwise this review will never end XD

I been playing on this site for 5 years now and it never gets old. There's many fun things to do, and events are held each month which are worth doing. I had my girlfriend join a few weeks ago and already she's excited over finding her favorite pokemon. Fakemon, and other special customs are rewarded at the end of certain events. variants and legendries are traded in game by people who are selling them, or sometimes can be found in the shelter (which is uncommon/rare) Collecting them are fun to do because it's showing how much effort you put into the game to earn them. You can also breed and hatch eggs, but certain pokemon (genderless ones) can't be bred together unless you have a ditto which you can save up credits to buy a ditto egg. I also recommended this game to a few of my other friends.

It's perfect for spending your free time and it's super fun! So many things to do! There's shopping, contests, art-ing, interacting, shiny/albino/melan hunting, activities, dressing up, scours, and much more! It's super interesting! I could play this for hours and ALWAYS find something knew to do!

I enjoy this game! It’s nice, and although some things aren’t for me... like clicking, I still have a good time on here! The community is pretty nice (except for a few people, but there is always that 1%) and often try to help each other out! The only complaint I have is how zc seems to dominate a lot of this site, but the producers of this place need money! They need to live somehow! So I respect their choices with that. It’s completely understandable, they have lives and bills to pay too! Anyways, besides that, I adore this game. It’s a nice environment, it’s relaxing, and it is just a great fourm game! It’s great to play on my free time, or to play alongside an actual Pokémon game on the ds. I highly reccommend it!

I play this all the time when I’m bored or waiting for something and it works perfectly!
