it's a good time passer i enjoy it!!

Now firstly before I even get into what I am going to say, I think the site itself deserves 5 stars. I think that the mods deserve 5 stars, and I think the over all gameplay deserves 5 stars. My one star missing is what I am mainly going to be getting into. I'm going to take that one star and cut it in half to explain two reasons why I have problems with pokefarm. Firstly 1 half of the star missing, if you know me (which im not very known) you would know that I cannot stand the custom trainer, being on this site since 2011, I am very used to just buying my own art and displaying it like that character is MY trainer, suddenly I have this person on my page and that is what everyone will view me as. I cannot stand it. I am very glad we are progressing but I was never asked permission to display art that I had nothing to do with on my page. Granted I can change up a few things, hair, clothes, eye color, but its just not what I am specifically into in terms of art design. Now yes, I can use a custom CSS to get rid of it for *ME* but regardless if I don't see it, someone else will. I do not like that someone has this image in their head that this trainer is supposed to be *Princess Alexx*. Okay now I am going to get into the second half of that star missing. Some of the Community, (now this is what is probably gonna get me a LOT of HATE) is..spiteful. While I understand that this isnt the sites fault itself, or the mods but a few of the LGBTQ+ community is quite..mean I guess you could say? Now I am NOT saying every single person is this way(I have friends in this community) but someone like myself who comes from a very religious background is very closed off from this world and that isn't exactly my fault, its just the way I grew up but I am TRYING to understand that world, however, I have been attacked simply because I used the correct past tense phrasing. That one problem really closed me off from commenting on certain forums. I WANT to learn, I want to understand what people have to go through and I would like to be apart of that world so that one more person can be accepting. But if I am going to be attacked then why bother? Honestly I am probably going to complete regret saying all that in like two minutes of posting this, I am not very open when it comes to these kinds of things, but I think it needs to be out in the open. Again not EVERYONE is like this! I think there are a lot of great people and dont make my one negative moment impact what you wanna do. I am just a simple coward. ------------------------------ Now onto the positive. God I love this game, I have been playing since 2011, thats EIGHT years as of posting this! I love playing this game on my phone mostly when I am out in public, I am very shy and a nervous person, so being able to do simple clicking on my screen, hunching around my phone is so beyond relaxing, especially if I am in a crowd. I think the basics of the game makes it really easy for all ages. It isn't a pay-to-win game like I lot of other games. Any kinda currency you can easily get just from getting boxes and selling them. Then with the currency you earned, you can get a membership and thats awesome! You don't have to spend a dime to get somewhere on this game and that feels VERY rewarding. I like that there are custom pokemon as well. Not to mention custom megas too. A lot of people really consider others like family. Regardless of your gender or race you will always be accepted here. And anyone who picks on you for THOSE reasons, you have a whole community willing to back you up and help you out and thats amazing. The forums bring a whole other side of the game to light, you wanna role play as any character you want? do it, you wanna trade your Charmander for someones Furret? We can do that. You wanna join a clan/family, we got that. You wanna play some forum games, talk about real world problems, ask for help with the game, wanna get some custom art of your liking? We got all that.

I love this game and the website. I love collecting and I love Pokemon, so this site is kind of perfect for me. But not only the game is great, but also the players. The community is so nice, welcoming and everybody helps each other out when there are questions/ problems/ etc. This may seem unimportant to some and I can only speak for myself, but I rarely met anyone rude around here. Furthermore I think that it was great of the staff to keep everybody updated when there was an issue with the server a while ago. So all in all: the site, the community and the staff are awesome

pokefarm is real fun to play with my buddies! there are some pretty critical issues like complicated UI that makes beginning difficult, consistent lag on the entire site, and needlessly expensive required items...certainly fun, but wish the UI was updated, the server could be consistent, and staff would consider suggestions u__u suggestions arent often taken sadly, even with massive user support. it's a fun game but makes me sad that several issues are so often ignored.

Overall this site is amazing. The staff works day and night to make sure that everything not only runs smoothly, but that the community is happy. This is the first non-avatar site that I've become really engulfed and *stayed* engulfed in. The site itself is wonderful; a wonderful community, fun to play, and easy to navigate. I have one small complaint in that recently the site has made it harder to obtain currency and also made things more expensive. This is something tiny, though, since the whole point of Pokemon in the first place was to be social, so selling and buying things is easy.

Let me begin by saying: overall this game is great. There are not many free-to-play games around that allow for this much user engagement and I genuinely wish I had found this game sooner. Thank you to the staff and developers who have put significant time and effort into making this game fun, ever-evolving, and challenging. That said, if you’re open to a bit of feedback: as a still relative newbie (so take this with a grain of salt), the site can be a bit overwhelming and occasionally difficult to navigate. From a usability perspective, as with anything, the more you use it, the more familiar it becomes. That said, even after three weeks of game play, I’m still finding new sections of the site or struggling to remember where to find something. Perhaps a site map link at the bottom could help other newcomers find their way around? Maybe you had this in the past and it wasn’t worthwhile, but just a suggestion. On the occasionally overwhelming side, it’s a bit of a double-edged sword. What makes this game fun and intriguing is the “choose your own adventure” mentality. While one person could be questing for shiny and albino Pokemon, someone else can be working towards a full berry garden, full Pokédex, etc. The options seem endless. For this reason, perhaps for newbies, the tutorial could go a bit longer to help explain more areas of the site so it doesn’t seem so overwhelming. I say this as a suggestion because, frankly, the tutorial is awesome. It’s well structured and gives you basic game-play, but all of the extras are a bit on your own and with so many challenges/tasks, things can get lost. Perhaps it’s my own ADD kicking in (and my desire to complete all available challenges - you could say I’m a bit competitive!) but the lack of focus is the biggest con from my side. But that said, for that one con, I could easily list 100 pros, so in the long term, quite minor and may only be due to my limited experience. In general, keep up the great work, and if anyone is reading who doesn’t currently play: sign up. You won’t regret it. ;)

I have tried playing a few adoptable type games but given them up in a few days because they are just not that fun. Maybe I just don't enjoy that type of game, however, pokefarm is the exception to that rule. I have been playing for about 2 years and the thing I love most about pokefarm is the people. I have met so amazing people who have helped me out with dex trades or just sent me random gifts because they felt like being nice. I have never played a game where the community is this invested in helping each other grow as players and people. This site has definitely created a place where people can be themselves and help one another. Another thing I love about pokefarm is your ability to really customize it. Using BBC code you can change your about me, shops, or even how the site looks. You can add things to your signature, upload artwork, and add certain upgrades to your skins. ( ex. That one code which sorts and stacks pokemon in field automatically ) it makes gameplay a lot easier and lets people make their profile really unique to them. The last thing I love about pokefarm is the staff. The staff on this site are one of, if not the most, hardworking staff I have ever seen. When the site went down last month the staff worked tirelessly to get it up and running again and not lose any data. And then to top it all off, the when most people were happy just to have the site back, they gave out years of hypermode for free to compensate for a problem that wasn't their fault. Not to mention the hypermode they gave out cost them an insane amount of money even though the game is free to play. The amount of work they put into the art, gameplay, and quality of this site is incredible and I think we are really lucky having mods as incredible as them. :)

This is such a great game! It keeps me occupied at all times, it's not too challenging, has a working currency system AND it's free!(for the most part). I often find myself spending hours after hours on this site without even noticing it, and when the site had downtime, I realized that I didn't really have anything else to do. I would catch myself just constantly checking for updates when it came to the progress, and I was so happy when it came back up! Another thing I love, is how helpful and nice everyone is! Yeah, sure, everyone has their quirks, but all in all, people are really nice, and the mods fair. You can play however you want; no one can tell you that you can't do what you want to do, because there are just so many different ways to go! Pokerus hunting, shiny hunting, making a living dex, making friends. May PokefarmQ continue growing stronger for years to come!

I absolutely love pokefarm! It is a fun game that is never really completed so there is always more to work towards. The community is really nice and are all very honest. I remember just trying pokefarm as other people where talking about it in a group chat. I definately thought that I would try it but probably not go on it for more than a week. Well, I think people can see how that went a year and a half later. Overall, an amazing website. I love it ^-^
