Given it's history compared to now. The site is still Okay to me. It's still fun to hunt shinies and meet people. I think the game should have it's own time server instead of going off of rl time. There's a lot to get into but still a 50/50 from me. Good and bad things here. Still fun nevertheless. I guess c:

Hi, just wondering if you could be a little more specific? What good things? What bad things? While your review is of course appreciated, it's difficult to make improvements if we don't know what the problem is. Sometimes we make updates to improve the site, sometimes we explain our reasons why the design is the way it is so that the reviewer better understands. Either way we'd like to resolve things, but with no info to go on it's hard. Please contact me if you would like to discuss anything.

It’s a pretty fun game. Although, I would add a better time period from some things. And make the market to where you can actually buy from it, rather that other players/overly priced items.

Dear PokéFarm Staff~ OH MY GOD WHERE DO I BEGIN?! Sure, I’ve found a lot of Pokémon fan games, online games, and such, but this is the first online Pokémon game that’s let me have and hatch eggs, and you don’t actually need to have the Pokémon in them fight! The staff is pleasant, everyone is pleasant, and it’s very child friendly, and I’ve actually found myself playing this when I should be doing my homework. Guilty pleasure. But, anyways, in the time Ives beenhere, I haven’t seen any cursing, not to much violence (except in Roleplays, but, hey, what are you gonna do...) and the custom Pokémon and gen 6 and 7 pokemon have EPIC Sprites! I don’t have anything bad to say, except that maybe you should have a better summon chance when you have said summon unlocked. That’s all. Other than that, this game is more then a game, and the people are more then people. You can socialize, and if that’s not your thing, you can just stick to yourself and your eggs. Keep up the great work! ~Peachberry12

So I have been playing this game for a while now and love it! The mods are nice and so is the community. In fact the community might just be the best part of the game! Overall on a scale of 1 to 10 i would give it a 100,000,000,000,000 out of 10

After playing this game, I find it extremely frustrating and annoying to find shiny or albino pokemon. I've been playing this game for almost 2 months without finding either.

Well yeah, they're rare :D In seriousness though, you should focus on progressing through the game as a whole first, before specialising into a hunter.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS SITE! There’s a bunch of creative fakemon and variants. A lot of nice people online and a bunch of helpful staff and mods. This scores a 10/10 in my opinion!

I ended up getting all three of my siblings playing this. It's wonderful, if not amazing. It may seem boring from time to time, but if you keep playing you discover the magic inside this site.

This feels more like than just a game sometimes when it comes to breeding or raising a pokemon. You're forced, in a good way, to interact and bond with separate members of a single community and you can make plenty of friends! The game is ENTIRELY F2P. So if you don't gotta worry about asking your parents for 5$! (Of course, buying the perks etc etc is still insanely and very much helpful.) There are some things that could be handled a lot better with the UI and some overall systematic things! For example: - Pulling up a pokemon from the shelter should show if you've caught the pokemon or not. (Even if it's a tiny pokeball symbol to represent the factor you've caught it; Basically so you don't accidentally waste while hunting for Dex Challenges). - Actual ratings of things such as scour boost or drop rates on boxes should actually be shown on the website/tab rather than having to make 50 separate tabs to visit the Wiki to discover different % assets. (Especially when there are other items that display %.) - Handle events a biiit better than 2018's valentines day. While it is understandable of having to buy candy for others, cutesy stuff; It still gets very bothersome when you have to DM your friend to buy you Candies and then have to pay them back for their time and credits (Maybe next time include an item you could gift yourself.) - Keep a limit during Markets, I'm pretty sure I once seen someone sell a fire stone or stomp orb for like 99,999,999. Which..someone out in the universe buys it but at the same time it's just wasted space on the market list. Also due to the fact some things that normally sell for around 7k - 10k end up selling for 100k - 1M. It's rather ridiculous. That's just about it for the review, by all means invite your friends and invite your family to come play and chill on Pokefarm!

Hi there and thank you for the review - I'm going to cover the points you brought up to hopefully explain or, with any luck, further them in to fruition, potential resolution of said issues :) Firstly, I would suggest putting your suggestion in the suggestions forum. To explain, while we appreciate it being said here - and that's great! - the review section doesn't allow us to keep tabs on good ideas as well as our 'approved' sub-section does. Please do put that there! Secondly, the issue with displaying the scour drop rates is that there are many factors to it. We could show the 'base' chances, if you wanted - but they're not indicative of the actual chances that you would have due to tiredness factors, preferred areas and the number of scour boosts you have. Long story short, the only information we could actually display for you would be, unfortunately, wrong - and would cause people to be more upset than relieved or happy because that would be the equivalent of lying to them! Which is something we're not okay with doing. ^^; If we do find a way to manage that in the future, we'll certainly - at the very least - consider it, but as it stands at this time, the only information we can give, which is at least kind of right - would ultimately be wrong and misleading. Thirdly, I would point out that with the Valentine's event, that sort of comes with the territory. It is the entire point of the whole commercial aspect, after all - getting a gift for another, not for yourself. That explanation of why it was the way it was aside, we'll take the feedback on-board - I'm sure there's a way to incorporate the whole "valentine's"-deal without causing the issue that you had. And finally, we will not be placing any limits on the market. To explain why, if we start placing limits on (to continue with your example) Fire Stone's, then we run a risk that people may look at that as the price for which they should sell. That's not good - specifically because that would mean that we would've influenced the market, when it's meant to be a free market. For reference, a "free market" effectively means that the buyers and sellers determine the prices. If something is too high a price? Don't buy it. For example, you saw a seller *attempting* to sell something for 99,999,999 - I guarantee that it didn't actually sell, though. In short, the point is that if something is higher priced, that's due to other people buying them at the higher price rather than waiting for the sellers to realise that nobody is buying them and therefore should lower their price. That is the result of a free market - in essence, 100% player-defined prices. While the prices may be higher sometimes, they're completely the result of supply and demand between other players. This simulates proper economy, rather than forcing a pre-determined value on to everything. It also encourages inter-user trading with the 'lesser' currency that we utilise, thus cutting down on the need to use trade forums for a theoretical quick and easy purchase. This also opens up options - quick and easy, save your time but spend some more (potentially, at least) or slower and more difficult (though still pretty easy) but spend the least amount possible. For reference, this also mimics real life. Going to individual sellers, as opposed to mass markets, has always proven to be considerably cheaper. This could be referred to as "cutting out the middle-man", which is basically a phrase to mean that you're going direct to the original seller, rather than having someone else buy it, and then you buy it from that person. The middle-man in our case is the person who runs the Market - and that's Doug. What a scoundrel he is. I hope that helps to explain things from our end and hopefully we see your suggestion in the forums! Thank you again for your review :)
