Great new fakemon!

Huh. Did they change the masquerain specials? I didnt notice until the totem melan got posted! The blue on the melan is gorgeous, but that green face feels kind of out of place/ too saturated. oh well! Its still becoming my next hunt!!!! Edit: ok, it doesnt seem the normal ones changed even though the totems did? an oversight, or maybe my eyes are bad? LOL Heres a color comparison anyway if anyone is curious :)

Totem Masquerain is so pretty, I love all the specials too. Even more reason for me to do that albino Surskit hunt ^^ Jestur is a really interesting concept, I'll be very curious to see the melan when that's discovered. I like that it has the comedy/tragedy drama mask thing going on

Not an oversight, just has to be done manually and I woke up about 15 minutes ago. Anyway the Surskit line has been updated, colours are not super different from before, just a little bit of a refresh to make them a little nicer

Actually on the topic of recent totem sprites, (is this the right place to post? Please redirect if I'm wrong), I'm surprised no one was talking about totem lanturn here when it came out. Seeing the latest discussion here reminded me that I noticed the albino and melan has a different eye colour than their base form, and I think it's really pretty! It got me curious about if the base a/m sprites might be updated to match, though not necessary of course. Also I do quite enjoy the browns the melan totem explores a lot, really makes it pop <3 Chinchou is my fave pokemon so I was so excited when this line got some attention

i am for sure going to hunt them when we can breed!!

I've gotta say, I'm quite glad that Phantump line only needed to be freshened up. I've always thought that the burnt-charcoal-y wood with the warm red eyes was such a perfect look, so it's wonderful that art staff agrees :D I'm also a fan of the tightened-up linework. I really like in general the effort to overall just clean up the lines and colors of some of these sprites. The clearer outlines and higher color contrast in general is just great to look at.

I didn’t realize that the albino Amaura would get another color change, thought it was just going be the melan. I miss my pink little Dino with bright green sails. 💔

I didn't think much of this Q mon before it was evolved into the final form. Thought I would just use it to expand my dex. But, man! What a perfect glow up! Right up there with likes of Dragapult in inovation of having ties to anthropomorphism of an object.
