Happy to hear that the colors are going to be adjusted! I also felt like some of the Shiny sprite lost some of its warmth; Shiny Cyndaquil's body was a much warmer brown and beige, and I feel like the new sprite takes on an almost colderand muted palette that no longer matches the official Shiny sprite.

They must change so that the pattern is maintained. They are intrinsically linked, and this makes sense because Melanistic is "Shiny and Albino at the same time", that's why there is a link between the two. Possible, sure, but it's better to move forward and tweak into something better, rather than backtracking.

I don't see how reverting sprite colours that people were very fond of already would be "backtracking". But that's just my opinion on the weird new muddied looks.

I like what female Unfezant has become, quite pretty and blue, definitely a melan I'd like to hunt for. The others I'm pretty neutral on, but one thing I really don't understand... Musharna's colours look a little odd.

I... I have no words. What has happened to Musharna?? Why its fog/vapor or whatever is so... unpleasant to look at? The whole color choice is so unpleasant. Maybe it is time to shift from "standard" pattern of recolor and do a bit aesthetic work with melans? I was okay with most of melans, but Musharna.... I'm so disappointed right now. Please recolor its smoke aghh qwq

I know Musharna is a dreaming pokemon, though its sprite will always remind me of.. something else. Which is fine with its official normal and shiny appearancs. However I feel with these melan colours, they are a *really* bad fit and it is triggering to have that mental connection to its melan colouring. I know melans have their own set way of going about melan colouring now... But I feel like this is one that really should be given a different direction.

I will echo what Shazi has said, but I will add the following: It is okay to dislike the sprites. It is okay to tell us you don't like them. It's even better if you can be specific about why, so we can work to improve them. IT IS NOT OKAY to insult the hard work done by the art team. IT IS NOT OKAY to compare the sprites to distasteful bodily functions. IT IS NOT OKAY to be so obscenely toxic. Time and time again the art team have shown willingness to work with you, to receive feedback and to iterate on the design, to try again where sometimes they might fall short. But if this is how you continue to treat my team, maybe it's time I start actually enforcing the "Respect other people" rule around here, because believe me there'd be some hammer swinging. To summarise: Feedback is OK, keep it coming. Toxicity is not, leave that at the door.

I REALLY adore the new Unfeazant and Blitzle/Zebstrika melans! Unfeazant fenale still has that darker body with lighter patches of bright color melan look that I adore. And melan Blitzle line is now a gorgeous deep red that isn't so saturated that it looks like a shiny, but a very rich glossy crimson. Thank you for the updates on those three melans specifically!

IM personal, entirely subjective O: Munna's new melan is quite lovely in its new color palette. I thought I'd miss the bright contrasting flowers, but honestly I don't anymore; it's got a nice night sky vibe overall, fitting with its shape. But I do agree that Musharna's new melan doesn't work in the same way. I get the design logic - the top half of the albino is green - but the green works less well with deep purple than it does with light pink, the contrast there is more jarring. Perhaps it might be worth experimenting with more of a greenish-blueish palette, as below? No obligation of course, but there may not be so radical of a shift there.
