Shiny-abino-melan hunts question

Hi!!! Was absent from this game for a long time barely visiting and kinda lost track of updates and etc. So, is it... possible to get some colour variants pokemon without Hypermode? I have asked one of my friends, who still plays Pokefarm, and they said that it is barely possible without it. I really do love shiny hunting and want to get into it in there. I just do not know if there is any chance for me. Thanks to everyone, who will reply to this thread, in advance

While it is possible, it is very rare usually. You need the Albino Radar to even get albinos and melans. Shinies can be random or chained with the Pokeradar, but hypermode ups the chances. There are also Sei days and POTD that raises your chances of getting a shiny!

Ah, okay! I just was thinking if there were any point to try without Hypermode or I should just stick to openning an artshop there to get one with zc, though I cannot priorities that due to real life issues.

Yes it is possible. I only hunt with the radars and I have still gotten shinies and albinos. It is true hypermode increases those chances which does help but at the end of the day it is RNG. You can have hypermode hatch 1000 eggs and have no shiny while you can hatch 3 shinies in 1000 eggs without HM.It depends on RNG. So even if you have higher odds this doesnt mean you will get a lot of shinies or you will get them easier. It depends on your luck.
