Considering it's an option anyone can turn on in the settings, that is a... confusing question.

Are there players who intentionally do not use quality of life?

QoL is more like a way to customise your experience with the site.
Don't like having to choose the right Berry? Use QoL.
Want bigger buttons? Use QoL.
Want to easily locate all of your favourite pokemon in a messy field? Use QoL.
I don't think any player has less value than anyone else. We all need each other, for interactions, trading, filling bonus counters, gaining Typerace points etc.
This really is an odd question and I'd like to hear your thoughts on it, Xylon.
Do you think it devalues players? If so, in what ways?

To some extent, if you want to compete with other players for special prices etc, you kind of have to use efficiency enhancers like the QoL. If it takes you twice a long to breed and hatch because you don't stack parties, then you're getting half as much value for your time when you sell your stuff.
I don't necessarily see that as a *problem*, more a side effect of the kind of min-maxing present in most multi-player economies. Some people find min-maxing compelling, and others find that it takes away from their experience, and I could see being frustrated at feeling pressured to do it.
(Tbh, even without considering the QoL, feeling out-competed by people who play differently or spend more time/money is just kind of how it be sometimes...)
