first onsite hatched??

how do users know if they're the ones that hatched the first special(albino, or melan, not sure if it includes shiny) of any newly added pokemon onsite? is there a popup or is it just general assumption based on what they've seen with other users trying to hatch the same 'mon
Usually when a new Pokemon is added to the site people post the first special in the respected thread or on the sprite discovery thread.
If 2 people hatch a melan for instance around the same time you can check the exact time on the Pokémon’s summary when it hatched.

This page will also help if you check it when yours hatches. Although it only updates hourly I think, or maybe daily. So while it's only an estimate, you can get the idea if yours was first or not.
