Shiny hunting ?

I didn't think about this earlier but I'm trying to shiny hunt eevee and I don't have a pokeradar(nor do i have enough currency to buy one). Do I need one in order to shiny hunt, or does that just boost the chances of getting a shiny?

A Poke Radar isn't required, but it does help a lot! I have more than enough credits for one so I'll get you a Radar if you're okay with that!

You're still a relatively new user, in my opinion it's too early for you to be considering Shiny Hunting. That's why the PokéRadar is so expensive. If you can't afford it, then you probably aren't ready for it yet. I strongly encourage you to explore the game further before locking yourself into shiny hunting.
