Shay had indeed noticed that Abyss had fled once she arrived, but there was nothing he could do and he knew it. ..at least for now. She could always find them in the Garden if she needed to. Well, he shouldn't bug them about it if the other was so frightened about them. So, she focused on Sylvester instead. When he reached out to touch her paw she got a bit flustered since she wasn't expecting another pokemon to understand the handshake.. or would it be considered a paw-shake? He wasn't sure. She did, however, laugh a bit when he spoke about his ribbons. He was glad the other enjoyed helping them out. "Well, Sylvester, it is quite well known for your ribbons to be quite good at calming others." She nodded her head, floating into the air to touch one of the ribbons he had very gently. "I actually think they're quite cute!" She paused, realizing that her words could have been mistaken for something entirely different. She had mentally freaked out for a few seconds before he spoke again, trying to quickly assure Sylvester it wasn't anything weird. "The ribbons, I mean. They're very soft and cute looking. It's no wonder the pup enjoys them."
