Question about an oddly specific crediting situation

Hi! Pretty soon, I will be making a icon of my sona, which is of a original species not created by me. The icon and the sona’s design will be created by me, so what do i do in that situation? Edit: I’m going to lock this thread, as my question has been answered.

If the original species' creator requires to be credited for each image of their species that is posted, simply crediting the creator alongside yourself for the design is fine as long as you also credit yourself for the artwork. If they do not require this, you can just credit yourself for creating the artwork (and your sona's design if you wish, though this is not strictly necessary by our rules), and that would be sufficient.
