Should I stop my hunt?

So for a while now I have been shiny hunting Amaura. Or at least I think I have, Im not sure if Im doing it right but I have got 3 shinies which I am very proud of. But now I am realising that I want to try and fill out my pokedex, but to do that I need to hatch eggs so I need to stop the hunt. Is it worth it, am I making the right call? I just want to make sure Im not making a stupid mistake that Im going to regret.

Hindsight always tells me I should've done this other thing instead of what I did :D There's no wrong thing to do. You may regret it, but it's just a game and a chain can be restarted without much detriment really. You can store the chain if you want to, using a PR stick and return to it at a future time. Or you can break the chain, work on a different goal and start it over again another time from scratch. Challenge yourself to hatch more shinies next time ^_^ or an earlier shiny than this time! Filling out the dex has good rewards, so does continuing the chain, which then you might regret not working on your dex... There's so much to do on PFQ and you can't do it all at the same time. So pick what you'll enjoy most, and do the other when you're bored of that. It's never wrong to do what makes you happy <3 Edit: I also want to add that sometimes we get tournaments which allow you to hatch eggs and not break your chain, like during Typerace. You could use those tournament weeks to hatch for your dex. Tournaments like this include Hatch pokemon matching V-wave, hatch particular colours, hatch your own eggs from Daycare.

I think if you really want to do your pokedex you should! You can always start your chain again, it wont really hurt you all that much

I can give you my PR Memory stick if you still want to continue the hunt after a while? What it does is that it saves your current hunt chain and resets your radar (so you can continue your dex for example!) As the tibit in the shiny/poke radar says "When activated it will save a record of your chain and reset your Radar. Then, at any time, you can restore the chain (overwriting whatever new chain you have at the time) to continue where you left off. Each stick can be used once."

Oh oops. I feel bad now. I already decided to quit it. I am rally enjoying hatching a variety of eggs now though. Thank you for the offer.
