Returning after five years, I don't know what's going on

It's interesting to return to this website and remember pretty much nothing from when I last played. o_o A friend recommended I start playing again, especially to engage with the forums and possibly make some friends since I've been kind of lonely lately. I logged in, and I'm absolutely floored by all of the stuff I do not remember. It's like I'm logging on to a stranger's account and trying to figure out how to play from here. I vaguely remember some things but not nearly enough to know what to do. Like I looked at my fields and saw that I had one called 'Planet Vegeta' and like, yeah I like dragonball but not enough to name a field after it! The saiyan rattatas within gave it context but STILL. You get my point. I'm lost. LOL But anyways I wanted to introduce myself too..! I'm Kigut, I use they/them pronouns and I'm a graphic artist. I like video games and biology. I'm hoping to meet people and make some friendships through the magic of pokemon.

I joined in august last year, invited by a friend! its been a few months but, in the grand scheme of things, pretty new HAHA And then I got super into hatching eggs for funny colored guys... basically, I like hunting. And its fun to meet some of the cool people that are on the site!

So it's like shiny hunting/collecting then? I do like to collect rare stuff! Have you made any special friendships through the website?

Yeah a lot of people like to collect different kind of pokemon, I think. I'm a melan hunter mostly. If you rememeber what that is, idk what it was like here 5 years ago wahaha I did make some cool friends!! Im kinda shy but i like to meet people and talk about stuff i'm into

I do remember Melanistic Pokemon! I'm interested in trying to breed those too. And Albinos/Shinies. Any of them but especially the pretty dark ones My DMs are also open if you'd like to talk more!

I have a couple of shinxel if you'd like one to level up, but it's up to you! Right now I'm trying to breed some fancy Ralts but that's mostly just because I accidentally started a chain LOL. I play this game because I like repetitive actions to relax so I mostly do a lot of mass clicking and hatching/evolving.
