What does it mean when someone's username is shown as *****?

While party clicking, I saw a user with the new user icon that had the username *****. But before I got to their party, the name was shown in the list as their user code. I've seen other username replaced with asterisks before, and I was just at confused then!

That means that player's username has been censored by a moderator for being inappropriate.
