okay so it says to give it something sweet and spin it.I have tried booth sweet apple and Whipped dream then gleefuly spun it in dress up did I get something wrong?

You have to use one of the sweets available in the Tourney prize shop to evolve it. Which one you use will determine what sweet the sprite shows after it evolves
