returning after several years

hey! it's been a good.... um.. several years! since i've last been here, no idea how long exactly, but anywhere between 3-5 years- is there any helpful posts of major/new updates that have happened during that time frame to bring me up to speed? i've already noticed that my shiny box is useless (apparently?) and that rmt is banned now i think?

A lot has happened indeed! - The Shiny Charm Box, if that's what you meant, is not entirely useless; you can trade it in for some shiny charms, which will not disappear anymore. Or, you can hold onto it and it may become very valuable and sought after by collectors of legacy items. - RMT is indeed forbidden now. You can read about it here There's a bunch of other things that aren't crossing my mind right now, as I've forgotten what it was like several years ago. I think someone else may be able to chime in who has a better idea about the changes that have happened.

The melan and albino pokemon have updated sprites and color palettes

DP exchange rates were doubled, and shines were made rarer.
