Shiny Problems

Hi there! Starting this thread because I noticed something weird when I was summoning a Mesprit So, when I had unlocked their summon item and used it, it displayed to me an image of a Shiny Mesprit that I thought I was going to achieve upon hatching the egg (which I did just a minute ago upon typing this) But, they hatched to just be ordinarily colored, so I'm wondering if this was a glitch, or a mistake on my part? If you have any information of why this happened, please let me know! And also, keep in mind I'm a bit of a rookie when it comes to shiny/albino/mel hunting

There is a 10% possibility that the Egg gets delivered by a Shiny Legend. This does not influence whether the Eggs hatches Shiny or not, it's just a little easter egg.
