Hi again! Back with some legibility issues, and I've been trying to figure out work-arounds or fixes for the past day or two. I'm sure somethings flying over my head in the wiki, guides, or the w3schools website, but unfortunately I still haven't quite caught it yet. ;v;
I'll admit, I used my first template as a base for my newest one, so apologies if its a bit hard to read or its overly messy. I just wanted some simple templates for my different ventures on site.
Template 1 issues
For my Bisharp template, I can't seem to change the link colors. It looks fine on my end thanks to my site skin, but when checking it on incognito the links are blending into the background too much to be readable. I've tweaked it repeatedly with many different (and should be legible) colors, but it doesn't seem to change anything on incognito, even after repeatedly clearing cache and opening each link.

Template 2 issues
Finally, I made my Delphox template intending to mostly have text in the tabs and hide boxes, but I notice that text outside these boxes is really hard to read, at least to me. Is there any sort of CSS to have different text colors for basic text and "hidden" text like in boxes and such? And if not, should I just scrap it, instead of risking breaking legibility rules?
I've already posted the template in the thread before, but this journal post is a good recent example of the colors, after recent tinkering.

how can i have an a:link not apply to a certain section?
i have one section for my friends' links which is styled, but then I also have pokemon panels, which also end up getting styled, and no matter what I try, it seems to always end up with the button/font/colors code crossing over.

Hi, I'm not sure if this will help, but I know there's bbcode specifically for changing the colour of the text without using a styleclass. It should be the [color] tag.
I tried it with your template, is this what you were looking for?

Instead of white, you can also input other colours or hex codes! Besides the bbcode, I'm not aware of any other ways you can change the colour without using another styleclass though.

;v; Seriously though, thank you, I would've never thought to try using the color bbcode manually since I thought it'd get interrupted by the template text color, this fixes so many of my posts!
hi! another solution could be to use the sc=delphox around the text (you don't seem to be using it anywhere?) and specifying the text color for that!

Hi. I’ve never coded before. I been making a template for my trade shop and now I just have just one little issue. I been trying to make the text in my hide tab (the top bar clicky bit) to be white. I couldn’t work out how and tried a few things. I somehow got the backgrounds to be the colours I want just not the text >~<.
