Spewpa asked for a way to replace counter images. That gave me the idea to make a post about replacing images with CSS. There's two type of images:

1. As a CSS property

For an img tag, object-position describes where the graphic is positioned relative to the box of the img element. To make this clear, here's a cat loaded with the img tag. We give the img a red border and padding to highlight the box of the element.

img { box-sizing: border-box; border: 3px solid red; padding: 3px; } Now, we use object-position to move the position of the cat pixels relative to the box.

A randomised hunt!

Browno and I decided to pick our next hunts using the Lab and a dice. We must use a Spicy+Bitter pair and get the specials for each other. I got Drowzee and Browno got Oddish. One will begin soon! Stats: Browno's Oddish hunt: 1142h/11a/10s/0m 2x Twins. Hypermode & 1x Shiny Charm used on Sei day. Duration 19.09.2021-25.09.2021 First special hatched was Shiny 1/62. This is the earliest special we've ever seen in a purposeful hunt! Challenge completed on 24.09.2021 at 08:25am. Spicy Albino hatched:

The Transformation.

A hastily written adventure based on my gained Super-Saiyan Dexes.

The day was a relaxed one; no one was rushing around doing anything too strenuous and despite Halloween having passed three moons previous, there was a Ghostly V~Wave in the air. In a Farm, not too far from here, Browno was hatching just the one Saiyan Rattata using a borrowed breeding pair. After some time, he burst out of the egg, bravely splintering the shell into smithereens. This was no ordinary Pokemon...

Saiyandy Claws stretched each limb before taking his first few steps. His tail quivered behind him, doing its best to keep balance. The purple haze around this creature startled those that would usually dine upon the newborns, and Saiyandy was able to escape the Farm with his life intact. He made a Beeline for the next set of Fields... The Monstrous Pocket! Perhaps it was the aroma of spices that drew him in, or was it something inherent in his genetics? Afterall, his parents were usually on this Farm. He found a gap in a hedgerow and snuck into what could only be described as an Eevee Sanctuary. Many had already chosen to evolve, so he considered this a safe place for Pokemon to live. His teeth had already become a little too long, so he began gnawing on a boulder, as is usual for his kind to wear down those constantly-growing fangs. Inside the boulder, believe it or not, was a Dragon Ball. Was this his Destiny calling him? Gripping the bright ball in his small, clawed paws, he could feel the power surging through his S-cells. Something previously dormant was awakening, and he enjoyed how it felt. He allowed the Dragon Ball to affect him, and soon, the purple haze that surrounded him was lit with a Super-Saiyan aura too!

This attracted some attention from the Eevees, and although he was Brave, he was still young, and no match for a Pride of Eevees yet. He sprang into the lake and using his webbed hind feet, swam hastily away from the Glade. Beneath the rippling surface of the waters, swarms of Magikarp and the odd, unreleased Gyarados took interest in the glowing, spectral Rattata. To be continued...
