Regarding certain word usage

Hello, everyone!
Until somewhat recently, I was a General Moderator. I switched to Forum Moderator not long ago, and jumped further into the forums than I've been or had to be in a long time. While I was in there, some issues came to my attention as rather pressing and they affect the site as a whole, so I'd like to talk about them. This isn't a message just for those that use the forums though - it's relevant to everyone.
In case you haven't seen the Site Rules lately, I'll just preface this by saying we're a child-friendly site with some parental guidance being advised at times. We try our best to keep everything in the UK's G/PG range since PFQ is a UK-based site, which generally means the PEGI rating system is what we have to go by as that is what is legally enforceable. As an important distinction, PG and PG-13 are not the same, with PG being a little more restrictive.
Now, on to the main... attraction? Point? Whatever you'd like to call it! Anyway, I know that a lot of folks have art shops and like to make lists of things they will and won't draw - a Dos and Don'ts for what the customer is allowed to order, pretty much, such as, "I'll draw anthros, Pokesonas, and animals, but I won't draw mechas."
I wish this is where it stopped, but some folks have added on to their Dos and Don'ts lists a few things that we don't allow mentions of, such as some of the following -
- Specific subjects that are outside of the G/PG range of the site that would be considered 'unsafe' (hint hint)
- Words that express that something may not be suitable to be viewed in a public place, like a school or place of work (another big hint!)
- Other words that express that something may contain depictions of intense violence or results/effects thereof (Hint v2.01)

Yeah, we really needed this. I've been seeing people post child unsafe content in places it shouldn't belong. Hopefully this will fix the problem and make pokefarm more kid friendly.

70% of the world thinks warrior cats is stupid. 25% say who cares. Repost if you are part of that 5% that would take a hard cover warrior cat book and slap the other people saying, "Starclan is out for revenge!”
So the acronym is banned now? The one synonymous with being Not PG I mean, that one. I know it wasn't mentioned in the thread so I'm opting not to say it and see if I'm guessing it right but. You know. Not OSHA approved, that acronym?

Instead of the acronym, "I won't draw anything that breaks PFQ's rules" is fine. Alternatively, "I won't draw anything above a PG rating."
I am curious, though, what will become of the mature forum? I've never browsed there so I'm unfamiliar if there are any rules particularly regarding that section of the forum.
For the mature forums, it's still just, "As long as it's legal (in the UK) and follows PFQ's general rules like respect/etc," for the most part. The things I'm saying here are just in regards to everywhere that isn't the mature forums, and that those things need to stay in the mature forums only. Hopefully that clarifies things a bit.
I have a question- if we're so concerned about the protection of younger users and keeping the site PG (which isn't a problem by the way, I'm all for that) why are there mature forums..?
Younger users aren't able to view the mature forums at all. So they can't see what gets posted there. Mature forums still need to be kept as safe as possible though.
life is delightful, always new discoveries to be made.
