Pokemon Heroes the Story
CHAPTER 1 High above the Amazon, a noivern, named Tony, and his partner, a pachirisu named Kaycee, were flying above the Amazon forest, as they were headed to the Volcano called the Sangay Volcano. Kaycee and Tony work for a news group, called PKNN, and they have been partners ever since they were young. Kaycee was always the wild and crazy one of the two, as she loved danger. She’s also a bit childish at times, and the others at the news crew call her selfish. However, she has a good heart and loves to bring a smile on people’s faces. Tony, on the other hand, is more quiet and reserved. He’s a good natured Noivern and he’s often careful and cautious. Tony has a strange ability where he can de-evolve to a noibat under certain stressful conditions. Tony can also control this ability, but he rarely uses it. Despite their differences, they’re really close friends, like siblings almost. “Tony! Can you believe it?!” Kaycee shouted at her Noivern partner, she scampered up and down his back, excitedly. “That we’re going to a volcano? Eh… It’s a little dangerous.” Tony said, as he felt nervous flying to the Sangay Volcano. “Oh, you weren’t scared when you got stuck in the eye in the storm!” Kaycee said, as she ran up Tony’s head and over his ears and onto his snout. “Well… that swirling vortex kind of… sticks with you… especially in the wings…” Tony said, as he looked at his small passenger “D’aw you loved it, ya big baby!” Kaycee said, as she saw the volcano coming into view. She grabbed onto Tony’s horns and pointed at the volcano “There it is! Tony! Get in closer! I want a close view of the volcano!” Kaycee shouted, as she pulled out her video camera. “Wait… WHAT?! Kaycee! Lava is about 2,000°f! I’m not sure if we can handle that much heat!” Tony said, as he slowed down to warn Kaycee. “But… Twony…” Kaycee started to baby talk. Tony couldn’t help but do as what Kaycee asked. He hated it when Kaycee started to baby talk, but he didn’t have the guts to fight with her. “Alright…. But if we get hurt, I’m putting this on your insurance, Kaycee.” Tony said, but Kaycee didn’t care. Tony got closer to the Sangay Volcano. Kaycee pointed her camera to the Volcano and started recording “This is Kaycee with PKNN News, and we’re high above the Sangay Volcano! For many years, this volcano has been dormant… however, some pokemon have said that the Volcano might erupt soon.” She said, as the volcano deeply rumbled. Tony’s eyes widened as he heard the low rumble and muttered to himself “Then why are we here?!” In Bismarck, North Dakota, the town was hit by a major earthquake, and one that wasn’t caused by any pokemon. Pokemon left and right scrambled as they got to safety, but there was some that couldn’t get to safety. A shiny Machoke, named Rip Rockefeller, kept a close eye at a teetering construction building, as he was worried about the pokemon there. Soon, back-up arrived, as a smallish Ho-oh with dark grey feathers, and dark purple highlights, showed up next to a jet. The jet landed as a staraptor and a kantoian Ninetails glowed turning into their anthro forms, as they jumped onto the dark ho-oh. “Let’s go, Schatten” The Ninetails, named Wendy Waters said, as her partner, the starapator, named Ariel Flyer, held onto a harness that was on the Ho-oh. An arcinine with blue fur and red fluff tuffs also raced out of the jet, a Raichu with dark colors, named Jake Justice, on her back smiled. “It’s go time!” He said. Out of the Jet came the last of the team members of the their team; An infernape named Billy ‘William’ Blazes, A Midnight Lycanroc, who could change his forms at will named Rocky Canyon, and A Machamp, who can turn into either an Alohan or Kanto sandslash named Jack Hammer all raced out of the jet. “I’m glad you can make it, William.” Rip said, as he turned to the team. William nodded as he said to his team “Alright, team, you know your assignments, Jake you and Asche are patrolling the streets.” He said to Jake and his Arcanine partner before turning to Schatten, Wendy, and Ariel. “Wendy, Ariel, I want the both of you to patrol the sky with Schatten.” He said, as Wendy, Ariel, and Jake all nodded, then the Arcanine and Ho-oh both took off into separate directions. He then looked at the others “Alright, team, let’s move.” He said, as Rip led the team to the construction building. Once they reached the building, William looked at his team. “Jack, you and Rip are coming with me, as we’re going to assist the construction workers.” Rocky looked at William, confused “What about me, William?” He asked “Rocky, you’re staying here, in case we need to bring any of the construction workers down.” William said, as Jack and Rip both started climbing up the building. Rocky looked away, as his ears and tail went down, and he sighed “Oh… Alright, William…” Rocky said, with disappointment. Meanwhile, Asche was racing through the streets, as Jake was keeping an eye out for civilians when Asche barked. “Jake! I have my sights on some trouble!” Asche said. Jake looked up to see a Dewott whimpering, his eyes closed, and above him was a statue of a Celibi, which was cracked at the foundation and on the verge of falling. “Asche, I want you to grab that civilian, I’m going to try to zap that statue away from you guys while you are running.” Jake told the arcinine. Asche nodded, as she ran to the scared dewot, Jake jumped off of Asche and used thunderbolt on the Celibi statue. The bolt hit the statue, causing it to fall away from Asche and Dewot that was in her mouth. Asche gently placed the Dewot down, and soon the Dewot slowly opened his eyes, to see the friendly miscolored arcinine looking at him. Asche smiled at the Dewot as Jake ran to Dewot and Asche. “Good work, Asche.” Jake praised the Arcanine. Asche wagged her tail, as Jake got onto Asche’s back and looked at the Dewot and nodded, in a friendly way. Wendy and Ariel rode on the majestic dark Ho-oh, as they searched for any danger, until Schatten cawed in a worrisome way. “What is it, Schatten?” Ariel asked. Wendy saw what Schatten was seeing and said “Ariel, look! On the construction building!” On one of beams was a bright pink Gurdur, holding on for dear life, as she tried not to let go of the beam. She tried to climb on, but the beam tilted, causing her to slip off the beam and fall. Thankfully, she didn’t have to fall far, as she landed on the back of Schatten. The Gurdur looked around, a bit confused, as Wendy and Ariel looked behind them to see the scared Gurdur. “Don’t worry, we won’t let you down.” Wendy said, with a smile. William, Jack, and Rip quickly climbed up the building, but Jack stopped as he used Strength on the building and the latter. “This might not be much, but it’ll buy us a few seconds.” Jack said. William looked at Jack as he nodded, Rip continued climbing up the ladder of the building, to a crane operation box. A worried timbur peaked over from a platform and said, waving his arms “I’m up here! But I can’t find my brother” He said. William and Jack looked up as they nodded and quickly climbed to the platform where the worried timbur. “Don’t worry, my partner will find your brother. But first, I’m going to get you down.” William said, as he placed a harness on the timbur. He then looked at Jack, as he spoke in his headset. “Rocky, Jack, I’m heading down.” William said, as Jack nodded, climbing up the ladder a bit to get a birds-eye view. Just then, an earthquake hit, startling everyone. “Woah!” Rocky said, on the ground. A light blue Riolu, wearing medic scrubs, ran up to Rocky. “I got here as fast as I could.” He said, softly. Rocky looked over at the Riolu, named Matt Medic, and nodded. “Rocky, we’re coming down.” William said, over the headset. Rocky and Matt both ran to where William and the timbur were coming down from, as he replied to William in the headset “Copy that!” The timbur was first lowered down, on a rope that was placed on the Timbur’s harness. After the Timbur was lowered, Matt and Rocky helped the timbur out of the harness. William soon followed after the timbur by climbing down the rope the timbur was on. Thankfully, William was a skilled climber, as an infernape. Once William was on the ground, he helped Rocky and Matt get the timbur to safety. Just in time for an aftershock to hit. Jack looked around, on the highest level of the unfinished building, as he tried to see the other timbur, during the aftershock, when he notices a wooden beam that a timber usually caries. “Rip!” Jack spoke into a radio communicator “I found the timbur, can you swing the crane my way?” He asked. Thankfully, Rip was ahead of Jack as he swung the crane neck over to Jack, in the operator box. Jack ran after the metal beam that was on the crane as he jumped to the beam, grabbing onto the beam. “Ye-haw!” Jack shouted. As Rip moved the crane to where Jack saw the Timber’s limber. Jack let go of the beam and landed on the platform where he saw the timbur’s limber. Jack saw the unconscious timbur and ran up to it. “Let’s get you to safety, your brother is waiting for you.” He said, as Jack carefully picked up the timbur and hefted the 2’ pokemon over his shoulder. A loud groan from the building alerted Jack, as the aftershock had weakened the building. “I think it’s better if you’re not conscious for this part.” Jack told the unconscious timbur, as he ran towards the edge of the building, he spoke into his headset, “Wendy, Ariel, I’ll need an airlift from the unfinished construction building.” He told the two women, over the headsets. Jack took a leap of faith as the dark ho-oh flew under him and caught him on her back. Wendy and Ariel looked back at Jack, as the anthro Ninetails winked “Sorry we took so long, we had a passenger we had to drop off.” Jack laughed. “And now you got two extras.” At the operator’s box, Rip could feel the aftershock. The crane suddenly buckled, causing the shiny Machoke to lurch forward. “Woah! I’m going down!” Rip shouted, into the headset. William and Rocky both looked towards the crane as Rocky pulled out a grappling gun. “I got this one covered!” He said, as a claw launched out of the gun. The grapple wrapped itself around a girder. Rip stepped out of the operator’s box and grabbed onto the rope as he slid down it. William saw the incoming Machoke and helped Rocky cushion Rip’s fall. Rip soon slammed into the men, and all three fell onto the hard pavement. Rocky winced in pain as he said “Now I know what it’s like to step in front of a moving train… and not die.” William noticed the crane falling towards them, as he shouted at Rip and Rocky. “LET’S GO!” All three men took off, getting as far away as possible. As soon as the crane fell, a cloud of dust covered the men like a blanket. The sky team and Jack saw the dust as they communicated to the ground team. “William? Rip? Rocky?!” Jack asked. The dust settled revealing the three men to be okay. This was a huge sigh of relief for Jack and the women. Schatten landed next to the fallen crane as Wendy, Ariel and Jack got off, Jack still holding the unconscious timbur. Matt walked up to the team to take the unconscious timbur to the nearby mobile hospital. William looked at his watch as he said, with a sigh “All this before 9 AM… Let’s hope this is the most excitement we get today.” He team nodded, as they went back to the Hyper-jet. Tony carefully circled around the hot volcano, his entire body was barely trembling over the fear of the volcano erupting. Kaycee kept recording the volcano, as she spoke. “If this volcano erupts, it could equal to ten million tons of dynamite.” “…Well… Jeez… That makes me feel better…” Tony muttered under his breath. Just then, Tony and Kaycee heard a loud rumble, as Kaycee lowered her video camera. “Tony?” Kaycee asked, concerned. “What was that rumbling noise?” “Oh no!” Tony shouted, as he got ready to fly off. “Kaycee! The volcano is going to erupt! Get in my mouth for cover!” Tony shouted, as he opened his mouth. Kaycee cut out the video and scurried into Tony’s mouth, as the giant noivern quickly flew away from the volcano, just as it had erupted. Tony swiftly dodged the hurdling rocks that the volcano threw at him. After thinking he was safe, Tony turned around to look at the volcano when a bolder hit his wing and badly damaged it. Soon, the noivern went down, crashing into the volcano, and blacked out upon impact.
"This is what's wrong, all right. Its Badly infected. I just don't know what it is.(into a mic) Rocky, I need you to study the tape of the rescue on the volcano. We're looking for something that scratched Billy. " -Matt Medic, Rescue heroes the movie. Profile picture is Mr. EAD as princess Peach from the F-ZERO anime
Chapter 2 At the Pokémon Heroes base, a Red Riolu watched the monitor, her blue eyes shimmered with excitement as she watched the team over various cameras that were placed on each team member. “Well, Ms. Medic.” A Beyhem said, as he walked in with a male meowstic and an Alakazam Meowstic hybrid. “How’s the mission?” The Beyhem continued. The red riolu looked over, her eyes sparkled with joy “Prof. Pending, Milo, Dats! This is the best thing yet!” She said, jumping for joy. The three pokemon all laughed. “Well, Omega, I see you are very excited to be a Pokemon Hero team leader.” Milo, the meowstic said, quietly. Omega nodded. Her eyes sparkled “Hail yeah!” Omega Medic, the Red Riolu, is a young fighter, who also loves to save lives. She is a unique red riolu, whose fur is entirely red, except for her grey legs and her grey mask. Her eyes are a sapphire blue which tends to give others hope whenever they sparkle. Omega belongs to two teams; the Pokemon Heroes and the Shadow Warriors, which both teams are very close. Despite how immature she acts, Omega is one of the best leaders anyone could ask for. Milo Katze, the Male Meowstic, is a shy and timid young man, but he’s also a very hard worker. Growing up in a hostile environment, Milo tends to shut his emotions in, but he’s a really nice guy. He loves working with machinery and solving complex problems with Pat Pending, the Alakazam/Meowstic hybrid. His best friend and childhood friend is Dats, an alien who crashed into his room back when Milo and Dats were in their basic evolution stage. Since then, they’re irrespirable and they’re hardly away from each other. Dats Katze, the Beyhem, has been Milo’s best friend, as he helped Milo get through the worst moments of his life. Dats is a smart alien who helps in the lab, fixing electronics and creating new inventions with Pat, and Milo. Despite being an Alien, all of Dat’s friends treat him like a family member. In fact, everyone in both the Pokemon Heroes and Shadow Warriors treat each other like family. The three physic type pokemon all laughed. As Milo smiled and said, softly to Omega “I think the team is back.” Omega nodded as she quickly ran out of monitor control and down to the docking bay. “Great job, everyone!” The perky red riolu said, as she ran to the team, who were getting off the jet in the docking bay. “Mission Earthquake was quite a success! Y’all did great!” Omega said excitedly, her tail was wagging. “Thanks Omega!” Jack said, as he walked past her and rubbed her head. Jake and Ashce then walked by her and they both gave her a formal nod as they walked past her as well. Rocky and William both walked up to Omega, as William gave her the kind eyes she loves to see. “Omega… Good luck with today.” William said. Omega smiled and nodded. “Thank you, William.” Omega saluted the infernape “I won’t let you down!” William and Rocky both smiled and chuckled “Come on, Omega.” William said, as they the three of them went up to mission control. In Mission Control, Wendy was looking at a small camera on a stick, as she waved at it. “Hi mom, hi dad!” Wendy said, with a smile. The team laughed, as Pat and Milo were examining the camera. “Mission earthquake was quite a success.” Milo said, looking at the team, as Omega and William walked in. Jake looked at Milo as he said, with a smile “The equipment is great, but these new threads are amazing.” “Hey, Milo, maybe you should put mirrors on the cameras for the pretty boy over there.” Omega said, smirking. Jake gave Omega a quick frown before laughing with everyone else. Suddenly a soccer ball went flying through the air, over Omega’s head, and towards William’s feet. Rocky laughed, as he said to William “Nothing like a little game of soccer to help you unwind!” “Yup.” Omega said, as she suddenly kicked the ball away from William, a smug grin on her face. “Hey!” William said, surprised, as Omega started kicking the ball with her knees. “Playing soccer indoors? What would your mother say?” Ariel ask, with fake admonishment. Omega and Rocky both replied, excitement in their voices. “She’d probably say ‘GOAL!’” The team all laughed. Suddenly, an alarm went off, startling the team. The ball dropped on the ground, as a chatot appeared on a screen. “Hello? Can you hear me?” Chatot asked. “Loud and clear, Chatot.” William said. “What’s wrong?” “Well, we got a report from the Oricorio sisters that they spotted a noivern falling towards the Sangay Volcano after it erupted.” Chatot said, as he flapped his wings. Chatot is almost like a commander for the various teams, like the Pokemon Heroes and the Shadow Warriors. Chatot is also the head intelligence for the Wigglytuff guild, one of the commanding guilds. He’s often hot headed and yells a lot. However, he is a good pokemon and his kind heart is what keeps the guilds together. He also stresses a lot, but he hides it…sometimes “The Oricorio sisters? You mean the lovely troupe of women?” Rocky asked. “Yes. Well, never mind the details, Rocky. You guys need to help that noivern!” Chatot demanded. William nodded. “Omega, this is your first mission of being a leader. What’s your first order?” William asked. Omega looked at Wendy and Rocky and said “Wendy, Rocky, mission volcano! Let’s go!” She said, as she, Rocky and Wendy raced out of the door. But William stopped her “Oh, Omega. I know you want to be like me… but please, don’t injure yourself.” “Don’t jinx it, Billy!” Omega scowled, as she took off. William chuckled as he looked at the others, the smile on his face soon faded. “I have to go myself.” Milo nodded “Be kind to our leader, William. And please don’t hurt your brother.” William nodded as he walked out the door. Kaycee slowly crawled out of Tony’s mouth. She was a bit disorientated and sore but she was fine. “T-tony?” She weakly asked, as she looked around to see where she was. She looked behind her to see the giant noivern’s left wing was crushed by a boulder. “TONY!” Kaycee shouted as she tried to push the boulder away from his wing. However, the tiny pachirisu couldn’t even budge the large rock off of Tony’s wings. Finally, Tony came to as he groaned. “K-Kaycee?” He asked. “Tony!” Kaycee shouted, crying, as she hugged Tony’s fluffy neck “You’re alive!” Tony smiled as he tried to get up, but the bolder prevented any movement of his wing. He sighed as he looked at Kaycee. “Kaycee… can you use Electro ball in the sky?” Tony asked. Kaycee nodded as she ran up tony and used electro ball on the sky. “I hope this will alert someone.” Tony said. In the sky, in the Plane, Wendy was in her anthro form, piloting the plane, while Omega and Rocky were seated. Rocky smiled “Hey Omega, do you think I should be the team leader of this mission, I mean my middle name is Lava.” Omega chuckled, as Wendy asked Rocky “I thought it was Milhouse?” Rocky looked away, embarrassed. “Well… It should be Lava.” Omega shrugged as she smiled “Better Milhouse than Ella.” Wendy gasped as she saw the electro ball, dissipating in the air. “I got them, I’m going in.” She said put the plane in a dive. Suddenly the plane got dark, as Omega’s eyes sharpened. “This is the worst dust storm I’ve seen.” She said, looking at the dust. Suddenly, the plane’s instruments went wacky, surprising Wendy. “Huh? That’s odd.” She said. Omega glanced at the instruments then at the dust. “There must be something in the dust that is making the plane go wild… We should do a vertical ascend and rescue that Noivern.” Omega said, as she got up. Rocky nodded as he got up and followed her. Kaycee was perched on the boulder on Tony’s wing when she saw the plane in the distance. “Tony! I just saw a plane! I think it’s coming down. How do you feel?” She asked, as she jumped off the bolder and onto Tony’s face. The Noivern caught the little squirrel with his horn and smiled. “I’m fine, Kaycee… Though my wing hurts… I wish Gnist was here.” Tony said, with a sigh. “…Although, I have to say, being pinned by a rock is better than being chased out of your own village by a corrupt egg-stealing leader.” Kaycee’s happy personality soon fizzled away when Tony said those words. Tony tried to reignite her spunk “Although, being accepted by a kind woman such as Munja is the best part.” He said with a smile. Kaycee smiled as she hugged Tony’s face. “Thanks Tony.” Kaycee said. At the base of the volcano, the jet had landed, and Omega and Rocky had climbed quite a bit of the volcano. Rocky was leading the way in his Dusk Lycanroc form, which made it easier for him to climb up the volcano. Omega, on the other hand, was stuck in her red riolu form, as she slowly and carefully climbed up the volcano. Rocky looked down at the cautious red riolu as he shouted at her. “Omega, I got two questions.” Omega looked up at Rocky, as shouted at him “Yes?” “Question one, are you doing okay?” Rocky asked, concerned for the young woman. Omega nodded in response. “I’m fine, Rocky. What’s question number two?” “Is your camera on? Because I want footage of the exact moment I became a team leader.” Rocky said, with a wink. Omega sighed as she and Rocky continued climbing the volcano. Tony heard Omega and Rocky talking as he perked his ears up. “Kaycee, someone is climbing the volcano, go see who it is!” He said. Kaycee nodded as she ran off of his snout and peaked over the ledge. She waved her arms and tail, shouting loudly. “We’re up here! My brother is stuck under a rock!” she shouted, as Tony gave a slight smile. Tony knew that he and Kaycee weren’t really siblings, but the others at the news crew called them siblings. Some even called them siblings. Rocky looked up and saw Kaycee, as he nodded “Don’t worry, help is on the way!” Rocky shouted. As Omega and Rocky continued climbed, they were now under an overhang, which wasn’t far from Tony and Kaycee. Rocky wagged his tail, as he turned into his Midnight form. “Awesome! An overhang. I’ll be up and over this in no time!” Rocky said. Omega slowly caught up, as she clung onto a rock. “Rocky, wait. Riolus aren’t meant for climbing overhangs, let me put on the spiked gloves.” Omega said, as she pulled out a pair of gloves, with claws on the outside, which made it easier for pokemon without claws to climb any surface. However, Rocky ignored Omega. “No time to put the gloves on, I’ll go on ahead!” Rocky said, as he climbed under the overhang. Omega quickly put on both gloves and followed Rocky, shouting at him “ROCKY! WAIT!” Omega lost her balance on the rocky wall as she slipped and fell. She shrieked in fear, as she fell down the volcano, trying to grab a rock to cling onto. She scraped her left leg on a rock that had a strange, thorny plant growing on the rock. Eventually her rope stopped her fall, causing Rocky to nearly fall off the edge that he was climbing on. “WOAH!” Rocky shouted. Kaycee, who was watching the whole thing, gasped as she fearlessly scampered down to where Rocky was and pulled him up. After Rocky was up on the ledge with Kaycee, he and the pachirisu pulled Omega up. “HOLD ON, OMEGA!” Rocky shouted, as the red riolu held on her rope, her breathing was shaking. Soon, the Red Riolu was close to Rocky and Kaycee where they offered her a paw. “Omega!” Rocky said. Omega looked up and took his paw. Rocky pulled Omega up on the ledge and took a quick breather. “Hurry!” Kaycee said, as she ran up to where Tony was. “My brother is trapped up here!” She said. Rocky and Omega nodded as they ran to the wall and climbed up to where Tony was. Tony looked up, happy to see the two rescuers. Rocky and Omega walked up to the bolder, as Omega looked at it. She then looked at Rocky, as she said, with a nod “On the count of three, we’ll both use Rock Smash.” She said, as the two charged up a move. “One… Two… THREE!” She counted, as Rocky and Omega slammed their paws against the bolder, shattering it. A bright glow surrounded Tony as he turned into a Noibat. “Thanks.” Tony said, as Omega picked up the noibat. Kaycee scampered onto Omega’s head as Rocky and Omega were walking towards the edge of the cliff, when they heard the sound of a jet. Wendy piloted the Plane next to the ledge, as the hatch open. “Hurry!” Wendy shouted. Omega and Rocky nodded as they jumped onto the wing and hurried inside the plane. Inside a medical bay of the plane, Omega was tending to Tony’s wounds, while she was sitting down at the examination table, as Kaycee was cracking up puns to Rocky. “But I then pointed to the metal bird and said ‘That was plane and simple.’” Rocky chuckled at Kaycee’s pun. However, Omega and Tony groaned in disappointment. Omega looked at Tony and said softly. “Take it easy on your wings for a bit, Tony. It’s not a serious wound, but please try not to fight with any other Pokémon.” She said. Tony nodded as he tried to fly on his injured wing. “Thanks… but what about you and your injury?” Tony asked, as he glanced down at Omega’s bloody leg. Omega smiled, as she crossed her injured leg across her lap and started tending to her wound. “I’ll do fine, Tony. I just need to clean it when we get back.” Omega said. Kaycee looked at Rocky, excited, as she pulled out her camera and pointed it at Rocky. “So, Rocky.” She started, “What is it like to be famous for saving lives?” She asked. Omega was done tending to her wound as she got up and walked past Rocky, giving him a deadly look, as she spoke to him in a scary voice. “Rocky, I wish to speak to you later.” She then left the medical bay and walked up to Wendy who was piloting the plane out of Ecuador. She glanced at Omega’s leg. Worried about the young riolu, she asked. “Omega, are you okay?” Omega nodded. “I’m fine. This is nothing compared to fighting corrupt Pokémon. This feels like a magikarp bite compared to getting burnt by a Volcanonion.” Omega said, as she hid her pain from Wendy. No one knew what was going to happen next, as storm clouds, outside, chased the plane. Or it seemed like that. There was even a worse surprise within these storm clouds… a terrible electrical storm soon awaited them.
Chapter 3 At wigglytuff’s guild, Chatot was looking at a monitor with a map, as storm icons kept popping up on the map. In frustration, Chatot squawked “What is up with these storms?!” he shouted. Silently, a blue frog walked up to chatot and said, with a smirk in a monotone voice. “What are you talking about? The only storm I see is right there.” He said, as he pointed to chatot, before walking off. Chatot didn’t catch Croagunk’s joke until he left. “Huh?! CROAGUNK! WHY YOU!” Chatot squawked angrily. Croagunk is one of the members of Wigglytuff’s guild and a good friend to some of the Pokemon Heroes and Shadow Warriors. He’s often making snide jokes about the other members, but those jokes are hard to catch. He sometimes trains with the Shadow Warriors to make them stronger. Despite being an introvert, this guy is a great story teller. Chatot glared at croagunk, then he looked at another pokemon, a pink pokemon named Wigglytuff, who appeared to be giving a blank stare. “What do you think we should do, Sir?” Chatot asked Wigglytuff. As a response, Wigglytuff snored. It was clearly obvious that Wigglytuff was asleep, and creepily enough he slept with his eyes open. Chatot nodded. “That’s a good plan.” At the pokemon heroes base, Omega and was in the hall, heading to another room, when Rocky stopped her. “Oh, Omega! Today’s mission wasn’t bad, wasn’t it… you could almost say-“ Omega interrupted, almost ignoring his words. “Rocky… you weren’t fit to be a team leader!” Omega said, as she turned around to look the Midnight Lycanroc in the eyes. She shifted her weight so there wasn’t a lot of pressure on her bad leg. “What you did today almost jeopardized the mission!” the red riolu scolded. “But… I saved your life!” Rocky said, trying to get away from a scolding, not literally though. Omega shook her head. “Yeah… ‘Saved my life’ after you nearly killed me!” Omega sighed as she shook her head. “Look, if you want to be a ‘Team Leader’ of something, go be the Team Leader of washing the plane.” Omega said, as she walked into the room, as it automatically opened the doors. “Wait! Omega!” Rocky said, trying to stop the red riolu, but it was too late. Rocky sighed as his ears and tail went down and he walked off. Omega looked around the room, as she was in the sick bay. She walked over to one of the cabinets and pulled out some medical supplies, then she sat on a stool, and draped her leg over her lap once again. “You should really tell someone about that wound.” A voice spooked her. “Huh?!” Omega said, as she was looking around the room. “Oh! You! Don’t surprise me like that!” Omega said, as she located the owner of the voice. A ghost-like figure of a Lucario sat on the bed-like table, watching over Omega with worried eyes. “I’m sorry for surprising you like this, but that wound looks serious.” The ghost said. Omega shook her head no. “No, Soul. I’m fine. It’s just a scratch. Nothing more.” Omega said. Soul, as his name might imply, is a ghost. His previous life is a mystery to a lot of pokemon. Omega is one of the few who knows Soul’s past well. He was once a warrior who hated to fight. He didn’t like to see anyone get hurt over any conflict, and he’s more of a peaceful warrior. He tends to hang around the pokemon heroes, watching them save lives and help the weak. Soul, the ghost, released a deep sigh, as he got off the table and walked towards Omega, to examine her wound. “I rather you not die on this mission.” Soul said. Omega shook her head no as she got up. “Soul, I’m fine.” She said, as she walked to the door and it automatically opened. She looked up at Soul, her sapphire blue eyes shimmered with sadness “…though… if I suddenly feel faint… I’ll tell dad…” She then walked out of the room. At the docking bay, Rocky was writing in the dust, on the plane. “’Rocky Rules’” Rocky said to himself, as he looked at what he wrote. He sighed as he went to wash the plane when he was interrupted. “Richmond? What’s wrong?” Asche asked as she was followed by a humanoid Eevee named Cinnamon. Rocky looked at Asche as he sighed. “Hey, Asche, Cinnamon… It’s Omega…” Rocky said. Before Rocky could continue, Cinnamon gasped “Oh no! What’s wrong with her?!” “Nothing, Cinnamon. It’s just…she yelled at me after I saved her life.” Rocky said, as he sighed. “And then she ordered me to clean the jet.” Cinnamon smiled, as she tried to cheer Rocky up. “Maybe she’s just overwhelmed! Give her some time and then talk to her!” “It’s not that, Cinnamon.” Wendy said, as she walked over to the group. “Rocky deviated from the plan without agreement of the team leader.” Wendy explained. When she mentioned this, Rocky sighed. Asche gasped as her eyes widened. “That could explain the mood!” Asche said. The room got silent, except for a metallic snoring from a Metagross, until Asche spoke up, with a smile and a small nod. “Yes, that might work.” The arcinine said, her eyes sparkled. “What is it, mom-I mean Asche!” Cinnamon said, having her foot in her mouth for a moment. Asche laughed as she smiled. “It’s alright, Cinnamon. Rocky, you should apologize to Omega.” Wendy nodded, as she agreed with Asche. “That’s a great idea. An apology would go a long way!” Wendy said. Rocky smiled “Thanks you three.” Asche looked at Rocky as she walked over to the plane. “Now you just skedaddle over to Omega and apologize. I’ll clean the plane for you.” She said. Rocky nodded and ran off. Omega, who was now wearing grey pants to hide her wound, limped into the empty room that was Monitor Control, Soul followed her in. Omega then sat in a chair, by one of the monitors, as she looked towards Soul. “Can you feel anything off with today, Soul?” The ghostly Lucario nodded as he walked up to the red riolu “I feel anger from the sky. Terrible lightning storms and-” Soul stopped, as he and Omega looked towards the door. Rocky walked into the room, a soccer ball in front of him. He lightly kicked the ball towards Omega, as it jumped off the ground and hit her right on the leg, were her wound was. Omega tried so hard to hide her feeling of pain. While Rocky didn’t notice Omega’s pained expression, he chuckled, walking up to her. “I guess I don’t my own strength.” Rocky said. Omega got up and lightly kicked the ball towards Rocky. “I guess not.” She said, her voice was very monotone. Rocky sighed as he shook his head, as he kicked the ball back to Omega. “Look, Omega… I’m sorry for what happened today… I should have listen to you.” Omega interrupted, she kicked the ball back towards to Rocky. “But you didn’t! You thought of yourself instead of listening to the leader! That’s how mistakes are made and that’s how people get hurt!” Omega barked. She then looked over at Soul, who shook his head no. He didn’t want to be a part of this argument. Rocky scoffed “I can’t believe you, Omega! I apologize and you still give me a lecture! I saved your life!” “Yeah, and like I said before, you ‘Saved my life’ after you put it at risk!” the two argued while kicking the soccer ball towards each other. Outside the doors of the room, the others were listening in onto the conversation. Jack looked towards the group, his eyes widened. “Woo-doggy! Omega is madder than a Yamask without its mask.” Just then, the team were startled by an alarm, followed by Chatot’s voice. “Hey?! Is this thing working?! We have an EMERGANCY!” The others ran into the room, as Omega looked at the monitor, as she sat down in a chair. “What’s wrong Chatot?” “We got a report from Al Pine and Bob Sled that thunderstorms are raging through the Swiss Alps, and they’ll need back up. HURRY!” Chatot shouted. Omega sighed as she looked towards Rocky. “Rocky… This is your call…” Omega said, with a sigh. Rocky was surprised by Omega’s sudden request. “Huh? Alright!” Rocky shouted as he was about to run off, when Soul stopped him. “Wait, Richmond… Don’t forget, Al and Bob are the leaders of your mission… and don’t make too many mistakes on this mission.” Soul said. Rocky nodded. “Alright, Soul… I won’t” Rocky said, with a nod, before leaving the room. Omega got up to look at the others, but was dizzy all of the sudden, she almost fell forward when she was caught by Jake and Wendy. “Omega? Is everything alright?” Wendy asked, concerned for the red riolu. Omega nodded as she came to her senses “Huh? What happened?” She said, confused. Jake shook his head. “You probably got up too fast.” Omega nodded. “Probably.” She smiled. At the Swiss Alps, Two weaviles were looking over the Swiss Alps, watching various snowboarders doing various tricks as they cut up the snow. One of the weaviles, a dark orange weavile with his red crown was royal dark blue, while the other weavile was just a regular weavile, though his crown was an icy blue. Next to them was a blue growlithe, his fur was different shades of blue. The two weaviles and growlithe shifted their attention to ski chalet at the bottom of the snowy mountain. “Hey guys!” Rocky said, as he raced through the snow as a dusk Lycanroc. The weaviles turned to rocky as they smiled. “Hey rocky!” one weavile said. “How’s it going, eh?” another one asked. Rocky turned to his Midnight form, as he replied to the weaviles “Hey guys. Unfortunately, we’re predicting a lot of thunderstorms.” Rocky said. Just then, a bolt of lightning hit the white powdery mountain, causing an avalanche. “WOAH!” Rocky said, as the two weaviles and growlithe ran to their Lycanroc companion to protect each other from the harsh attack of the snow. Once the avalanche ended, the team got up and saw the entire slope covered in snow. Rocky’s eyes widened as he saw the snow-covered mountain. “This is a whole lot of trouble.” Rocky said, shaking his head in disbelief. Soon the team’s attention was shifted to the blue growlithe who was barking at a large lump of snow, where a ski chalet once stood. The royal blue crowned weavile took at his team. “Looks like Windchill found trouble. Bob, you, Rocky, and Windchill go help the skiers who might have gotten caught up in the avalanche. I’m going to go help those who were in that Chalet.” Al Pine, the weavile with the blue crown, said. Bob Sled and Rocky both nodded, as Windchill, the growlithe, ran to the two. “Alright! Let’s do it!” Rocky said. At Wigglytuff’s guild, Alakazam walked in, his calm composure made the others a bit uneasy. “What’s the situation?” He asked. “Oh! Alakazam!” Chatot squawked “I would say it’s going good, but that’s obviously a lie!” He said, flapping his wings wildly. Alakazam nodded as he walked towards one of the monitors that Chatot was looking at. “Hmm… These aren’t your typical electrical storms… they’re way too powerful… As if… Thunerious, Zapdos, Zekcrom and Rikou were in a war against each other… But’s that’s only my speculation.” The wise pokemon said. Chatot looked at Alakazam, his eyes were widened. “Do you think it is the legendary electric type pokemon fighting against each other?” Chatot asked. “I do not have enough information to make that call… Wait a second” Alakazam’s eyes widened “That static electricity is greater. These storms aren’t caused by legendary pokemon!” Bidoof walked in, just as he heard what Alakazam said “Hyuck, so the static electricity is caused by Mareep?” He asked. Alakazam looked at Bedoof and shook his head. “No, Bidoof. I’m not sure what caused this storm, but I can tell you this; if that storm keeps growing larger, then the entire world will be doomed.” Chatot and Bidoof’s eyes widened as Bidoof stuttered to talk “H-hyuck! That’s… that’s not good. No sirre! Not good!” An alert pop up on the screen, as Chatot looked at it. “Speaking of not good...Omega!” Chatot shouted, calling for the pokemon heroes. At the base, Omega answered the call “What’s wrong, Chatot?” She asked, as she started to type quickly on a computer. “There’s a fire in Northern Canada!” Chatot squawked. “The Canadian Fire & Rescue crew as well as the Fire Rangers* are on their way, but they’ll need back up!” Chatot said. (*Editor’s Note. This world’s equivalent of the Burning Rangers from Sega’s 1998 Sega Saturn game Burning Rangers.) Omega nodded as she spoke to the computer “System look up Sam Sparks and Hal E Copter.” She then looked at Wendy and Ariel. Jack and Jake had left earlier for another mission, so Omega only had Wendy and Ariel. The two women nodded as they ran out, Ariel shouting “We’ll say ‘Hi’ to Shou and Reed for you!” Omega nodded as she looked back at the monitors. At the PKNN News building, at the Flying Keeps, Kaycee was asking some of the other flying pokemon if she could borrow them for the fire, when a Gotitell walked past her, sounding snooty. “Why not use your noivern. More suited for you.” “But Sarra, Tony is injured! I don’t want to make his injury any worse!” Kaycee objected. The Gothitel scoffed at Kaycee “Whatever. You’re so annoying!” “And you’re rude, Sarra.” A familiar voice spoke out as Tony walked into the Flying Keeps and up to Kaycee and lowered his good wing down to let Kaycee on. “Are you ready?” He smiled. “But… Tony!” Kaycee started, but Tony shook his head. “That Canadian fire isn’t going to report itself, Kaycee.” Kaycee smiled as she hesitated before nodding and scampering onto his wing. “Let’s do this, Tony!” Tony nodded as he walked out of the flying keeps before turning to Sarra and giving a gentle smile “Oh, and Sarra, can you stop being rude to Kaycee? I know you’re just jealous because Airpona doesn’t treat you like how I treat Kaycee. But, you’re the bigger person, you can ask Airpona to stop hurting you!” He said before turning around and flying off. Back at the Swiss Alps, Rocky, Bob, and Windchill ran through the snow, searching for any snowboarders when Rocky and Windchill found someone. “Bob!” Rocky called out. “We found someone!” He said, as he and Windchill dug through the snow. The orange wevile raced over to help them, but by the time he was next to them, they had already dug up both snowboarders. Bob pulled out two stretchers, which was fit for the snow and placed them on the ground. Rocky pulled them out and placed them on each stretcher. Bob placed his claw over his headset “Al, we have two snowboarders.” Bob started. Al was at the chalet, which was snowed under, as he muttered to himself. “What’s the best way to get into a house that is buried under this snow?” He then paused and smiled, as his claw glowed a metallic silver. Al punched the ground, with Metal Claw, breaking a large hole into the roof, startling those inside. He then peeked inside the hole in the roof, a friendly smile was stuck on his face. “Sorry, dudes, to scare you like that but doors are just so bogus.” He said, before getting up and replying to Bob. “Alright, Bob. Get them to the infirmary pronto. I’ll be there as soon as I get these guys out.” Al said. Bob and Rocky nodded, as Bob had one injured snowboarder on his bobsled, which was pulled by some houndours, and Windchill. Rocky had the other one on a stretcher where Rocky can hold it, next to a hover board. Bob looked at Rocky, as he gave Rocky an order. “I want you to follow me down the west route. It’s less direct but totally out of the way of any potential avalanches.” However, Rocky ignored him and went the other way. “Al said pronto. I’ll get there pronto.” Rocky said. And like that Rocky was off. “ROCKY! WAIT!” Bob shouted. Bob got onto his sled and told the houndours to hurry. As Rocky went down his route, a lightning bolt hit a pole, causing another avalanche. Rocky noticed the Avalanche, and pinned his ears back, as he tried to race against it. He then noticed a slope as she went towards it and jumped off of it, as a young skarmory flew towards Rocky and caught him and the injured, and now terrified, snowboarder. Rocky sighed as he looked at the camera on his arm. “Omega is going to be mad at me…” He said.
Chapter 4 SPECIAL THANKS TO MY FRIEND AIBO FOR LETTING ME BORROW HIS CHARATER IN THIS CHAPTER OF POKEMON HEROES! Omega watched the action, as she roared in anger, her fist flying to the side. “ARGH!” She said, as her punch went through Soul. The ghostly Lucario looked at Omega and said, with a slight tone of humor in his voice “Omega, if you’re trying to punch me, ask a Zigzagoon to use Odor Sleuth on me first.” He said, humored by his own joke. “It’s not that, Soul!” The red riolu barked. “Rocky disobeyed an order again!” She shouted. She quickly shifted her attention to a monitor that was from the PKNN News. Soul looked at the monitor that Omega was watching, knowing that it might calm her down. “We’re live above the Canadian flames.” Kaycee said. In Canada, Tony flew above the hot fires that consumed Northern Canada. While those two were safe, there were those who were in a war against the flames. Pokemon Heroes and Fire Rangers were risking their lives in what felt like a war against fire, their water was killing off the inferno quickly. Behind the two teams was a family of three, all part of the Meowstic line, huddled together, scared as they watched the teams work together to quickly put out the flames. Soon the fire died down and the teams looked at the family. “Well then” Reed Phoenix, the leader of the Fire Rangers, said as he looked at Wendy, Ariel, and Sam. “Miss, are you alright?” Shou Amabane asked the mother of the family. The female Meowstic nodded “Yes, but our two sons… They went out for a walk.” “And we haven’t seen them for two hours!” The father continued. “Don’t worry.” Wendy said. “No one gets left behind. But first, we need to get you out of here.” She said. Tills quietly pulled Wendy aside as she asked the older woman “How are we going to get them out of here? Are we going to do an aerial rescue or something?” Ariel nodded as she turned into her pure staraptor form “You got it, Tellis.” Wendy nodded, as Sam spoke in his head set “Hal, we need a pick-up.” “Rodger that!” A voice came from Sam’s headset. Wendy turned to the family and said “This Ariel, she’ll give you an Air-lift to safety.” The meowsic family carefully climbed onto Ariel’s back and held on tight as the grey bird took off, flying towards the red angry sky, that was filled with smoke and lightning storms. A helicopter flew above her, as a bottom hatch opens, Ariel flew into the hatch and let the family off. Controling the helicopter was an anthropomorphic Bagon named Hal E. Copter. “Welcome to Air Hal, Enjoy the free flight.” He said, as he looked back, giving a smile. A loud screech filled the ears of everyone at Wigglytuff’s guild, as Chatot was getting frustrated at the storms. What chatot didn’t know is that someone upset. he heard someone sniffling behind him. Cautiously, he looked to see Guild Master Wigglytuff starting to cry. “AH! G-guildmast-” Chatot said, surprised. “Y-you’re mad at me.” Wigglytuff sniffled. “N-no! I’m not mad you! N-not at all!” Chatot said. “I’m not mad at anyone… just these storms!” Chatot said before looking at the monitors and sneering at the storms. “I’ll figure you out! Mark my words!” “Oh la la! La Tour Eiffel été frappé par la foudre!” Alakazam spoke in fluent French. “What was that?” Chatot asked, confused. “‘Mark my words.’ Lightning just hit the Eiffel tower in Paris… in French of course.” Alakazam translated. Chatot was surprised “Wow! You know French?” “French, German, Spanish, any language, I know it.” Alakazam spoke, as he looked at the monitor. “Hmm… The Eiffel Tower, The Space Needle and the Calgary tower… even Metal Face the large Aggron and Epsilon the Zoroark with… metallic… attachments… that it!” He said, solving the puzzle in his head. “It must be something with the static electricity and metal!” Chatot looked at the psi pokemon as an alarm went off, a flood icon appeared on the screen. In anger, Alakazam accidently flung a spoon at Bidoof! At the base, Rocky came in, his tail between his legs in his dusk form, he opened his mouth to spoke. “Omega… I’m sorry about what happened at-” “Save your breath, Rocky.” Omega said, as she spun her chair to face Rocky. “It doesn’t matter now, I’ve made my decision and you’re….grounded. You’ll be on monitor duty until further notice” The red riolu said, shaking her head no. The ghostly Lucario’s eyes widened as he was surprised by her decision. He moved closer to Omega and whispered in her ear “Are you sure that’s what you want to do?” He asked. Omega nodded as she made a fist and shook it up in down, as if she was knocking an invisible door. That was the American Sign for ‘Yes.’ Soul released a deep sigh as he hover next to Omega. Rocky was astonished by Omega’s decision. “But… Ome-” “CAN IT!” Omega barked, her anger getting the best of her. She shook her head as she spun to look at the monitors. Jake and Jack walked into Monitor control, just as Chatot came on the monitor “AIEE! WATCH IT!” He squawked. “I can’t watch it, I’m over here… and you’re over there!” Omega joked, the others all laughed at her joke, including Rocky. However, Chatot wasn’t happy with her joke. “You! Watch your tongue!” Chatot said. “I can’t watch my tongue, it’s in my mouth.” She said, with another wave of giggles and chuckles following after the joke. “What’s wrong, Chatot?” “Well, Omega, Lightning hit a dam in Thailand.” Chatot started, however, Alakazam continued. “The damage on the dam is minimal, and flooding is occurring, but if that dam is hit one more time…” “And that flood is going to look like dew on a yellow rose of Texas.” Jack said. Omega nodded as she nodded. “Alright, then… Jack, Jake, you’re coming with me. Don’t forget some rain boots as we’re going to do Mission flood.” She said, as she walked towards the group, but she stumbled on her own feet and fell with a loud thud. “Omega?!” Jake and Jack both asked as they ran to her. Omega looked up with an ashamed look on her face. “I tripped on my two left feet.” She said, as she got up, her cheeks were a rosy pink. Jake and Jack helped Omega up, then the three of them ran out of the base. Rocky sighed as Soul looked up at one of the monitors with Kaycee on it, as she gave a report. “We’re currently flying over the flames… and I…” Kaycee started to shake, but then Tony then took over her news. “I can feel the fire almost giving my wings a scalding kiss. Ouch.” Rocky shook his head no as he sighed, walking up to the chair Omega was sitting in and he sat down in the chair sighing. “Great… Kaycee and Tony are out there while I’m stuck in here.” Soul smiled as he placed his ghostly paw over Rocky and nodded. “You and me both, buddy… You and me both.” In the blazing Canadian fire, Wendy, Ariel, Sam, Tills, Reed, Big and Shou had already killed half the fire, as Reed spoke into his headset. “Chris, can you hear me? We’re looking for two boys, can you find them?” All Reed got was static. Getting frustrated, Reed called out to Fire Ranger #1. “Chris Partn, can you read me?” Shou giggled as he gave the older Floatzel a hard time “Maybe she doesn’t want to talk to you, old man.” “Zip it, little boy!” Reed snapped. The team still took down the fire, as they waited anxiously for a reply from Chris Partn. They eventually got a reply, but not from Chris, rather from Tony. “This is Tony from PKNN News, I can help find the boys.” The team heard from the calm noivern. Big looked at his team and shook his head with disbelief. “We lost Chris but got some news reporter named Tony?” Wendy looked at Big as she explained “Tony isn’t a news reporter. He is one of the carrier pokemon for the news group PKNN News. I actually trust Tony with finding the boys.” She said. She then replied in the radio “Alright, Tony. But if you see the boys, do not assist.” Tony agreed with Wendy, as Kaycee held onto Tony’s back. “Please don’t go into the fire.” “Kaycee…” Tony sighed, his eyes shimmered with sadness “I don’t want any more people to die. I have the chance to at least save someone.” He then flew closer into the flames, as he tried to calm Kaycee down. “Don’t worry, I won’t let you fall.” He said, calmly. In another part of the world, A Shadow Lugia carrying a Metagross with its feet was seen by the pokemon of Thailand. It was the Pokemon Heroes with Omega’s Shadow Lugia, Dark Lugi, and William’s Metagross friend, Grossi. “Dark Lugi, land!” Omega said, commanding the majestic beast. And so Dark Lugi did with a loud thud, then released Grossi from her feet. The team quickly made their plan. “That dam is holding on tight, but… if it bursts, the whole town will be wiped out!” Omega exclaims. Jack and Jake nodded. “But we don’t have time to get the people out… what will we do?” Jake asked. “It’s simple! If we can’t move the people away from the flood, then we’re going to have to move the flood away from the people!” Omega said, as she jumped onto Dark Lugi. Jack gave Omega a confused look, as he didn’t understand Omega’s statement. “You… You lost me at ‘It’s simple.’” Omega chuckled. “Alright then, watch and learn. Dark Lugi! Dragon Tail!” Omega commanded the Lugia. The giant beast started to fly, then it slammed its tail into the ground, creating a path for the flood water. The men understood Omega as Jack nodded. “You’re clever, Omega!” Omega blushed as she chuckled “Well… don’t ask me to do any kind of Algebra.” She said, rubbing the back of her head. At the Guild, Chatot and Alakazam were trying to figure out the prediction of the weather, however, they weren’t having any luck. Chatot sighed, as he flapped his wings to relax himself. “I don’t understand what the weather pattern will be!” He said. Croagunk silently walked up behind Chatot and whispered in his ear “Maybe instead of looking towards the future, like Xatu, why not look to the past like a normal pokemon.” Chatot swat the frog away, angrily “THAT’S NOT FUNNY, CROGUNK!” But Croagunk’s words made Chatot realize something, as he had an idea. “Maybe to find where the storms are headed, I should see where the storms were from!” “Cotton-eye joe” Croagunk whispered quietly, however Chatot didn’t hear it. Chatot continued “Yes! That’s it! I should have been tracking where the storms were from! Chatot you’re a genius! If I do say so myself!” The proud parrot squawked, before looking at Croagunk, who was croaking while expanding his cheek pouches, with a disappointed look on his face. Chatot looked around before whispering to Croagunk “Alright, Croagunk, you’re a genius… But please don’t tell anyone else what happened.” Croagunk’s unamused look quickly changed to a grin, as he kept croaking, expanding his cheek pouches. “So… these storms came from…” Chatot said, as he looked at the monitor. His eyes widened with surprise. Croagunk spoke for Chatot “So these storms came from that Volcano? Spicy.” There wasn’t a response from Chatot, as he ignored the joke. He did, however, contact the pokemon Heroes base. “The cause of these storms came from this morning; the volcano!” Chatot said, over the monitor. Rocky, Milo, Dats, and Soul were in the room discussing the matter with Chatot. “Alright… We should get a sample of those particles…” Milo said, quietly. Soul looked over at Rocky and asked “Rocky, do you have a sample of that dust?” Rocky nodded, as he glanced at his paw then showed Milo his dusty grey paw. Milo smiled as he took a small vial and a small wooden scraper and scraped some of the dust off of Rocky’s paw, as it dropped into the vial. “This will be perfect!” Milo said, his usually monotone voice had a hint of happiness. Milo placed the small vial into a scanner and spoke into a mic, to Omega. “Omega! I think we found the source of the storms!” Back in Thailand, Dark Lugi and Grossi and other large pokemon were carrying trees, which were uprooted, to a dam that was being built. Various pokemon were chopping the trees up, which the larger pokemon brought over, to be built as a suitable dam. While the other pokemon did this, Omega was trying not to show anyone her pain, she replied to milo in the headset “That’s great, Milo… I hope this information is good enough.” She said, as wiped perspiration off of her fur. Just then, Jack, who was riding on Grossi, who was carrying about seven trees, went past Omega as he smiled to her “You know this one more tree than I can carry!” He said, with a smile. Omega rolled her eyes as she shrugged “Yeah, yeah, yeah. Go put them over there, wise guy.” She said, pointing to a growing pile of trees. “Alright, Omega.” Grossi said, as he smiled at Omega’s snarky comment. The team knew about the small leak in the dam, so they asked a friend of the team, a Dusk Lycanroc named Aibo, to keep an eye on the dam. Suddenly a bolt of lightning struck the dam, with the dam shattering to a million pieces. Aibo ran like hell, as he jumped over Dark Lugi’s head and onto her back. Jack, Jake, and Omega noticed Aibo giant leap and noticed the flood. “Who said lighting never strikes twice?” Jake asked, as Omega shouted at everyone “Everyone! Evacuate!” She shouted, as everyone scampered onto various flying pokemon. Some got onto a Braviary, some onto a Salamence, while others escaped quickly. Omega and Jake climbed onto Dark Lugi, and Grossi quickly hovered above the water. Omega climbed on top of Dark Lugi’s head and commanded her friend to fly. “Quick! Up!” She shouted at Dark Lugi. The dark legendary pokemon flew up above the water. Omega stood up as she felt her world spinning around her. Voices were distorted around her. “O…ga? Ome….ga?” Was the words she was heard. She tried to get off of Dark Lugi’s head but she tripped on her feet again and fell into the water. Jack saw a red blur drop into a torrent of blue. He looked at Grossi as he got ready to jump “No offence, Grossi, but I don’t think you know how to swim.” Jack said. “Tch… Wise guy” Grossi said, as he rolled his eyes. The Sandslash leapt into the water and turned into an Alohan Sandslash. As soon as Jack landed into the water, he saw Omega struggling to swim. She wasn’t a great swimmer, but even now, with these weird dizzy spells she was having, she looked like a Magikarp trying to swim in quicksand. Jack quickly swam behind her and caught her with one of his long claws and he hooked onto a rock with another claw. Dark Lugi and Grossi hovered down close to them as Jake and Aibo sighed in relief. “Omega, are you okay?” Jack asked, as Omega’s eyes slowly fluttered open “Huh? Yeah… May I have my Lugia alone?” She asked, as Dark Lugi lowered her tail to lift Omega up onto her back. “Why?” Aibo asked, confused. “I need to talk to someone. Besides, she’s my Lugia.” She said, as she climbed onto Dark Lugi. Jake nodded as he jumped onto Grossi, Aibo carefully jumped off of Dark Lugi’s back and onto Grossi. Jake helped Jack up onto Grossi. Soon, the two pokemon took off, as Dark Lugi flew off somewhere else.
Chapter 5 At Wigglytuff’s guild, Omega stood above a wooden grate, her tail slowly moving up and down. A squeaky voice spoke out “POKEMON DECTECTED! POKEMON DECTECTED! WHO’S FOOT PRINT? WHO’S FOOT PRINT? THE FOOT PRINT IS… the foot print is… Omega’s?!” The squeaky voice asked, confused. Omega looked down into the grate and shouted “IT’S OMEGA! I NEED TO TALK TO CHATOT, PRIVATLY!” “Oh! You may past!” The squeaky voice called out. Omega nodded as she went into the guild. Once she was inside, she was greeted by Chatot. “Oh! Omega! What are you doing here?” “Chatot…” Omega started. She looked at him straight in the eyes. “I want to talk to you privately.” Chatot nodded as he led Omega into another room of the guild. They were in the mess hall, sitting at the long table, at least they were near each other. Chatot handed Omega a cup of Hot Chocolate, while Chatot was drinking tea. “Well, Omega, what do you want to tell me?” “Chatot, will you keep a secret?” Omega asked, as she looked at her grey pants, which were torn up from the falls she had. Chatot nervously nodded, as he was concerned for Omega. Omega lifted up her pant leg revealing her wound from the morning, the bandages removed. Chatot squawked loudly “O-OMEGA! WHAT DID YOU DO?!” “I… I injured my leg on the volcano…” Omega said, with a sigh. “During this morning’s volcano eruption, I slipped and caught my leg on a rock… and I think I lost a lot of blood.” Omega said, as she felt a dizzy spell. She got up but immediately fell, Chatot caught her. “O-omega?!” He shouted. Omega soon regained her sense of balance as she sat back down, but she felt like the whole entire room was spinning. Chatot quickly grabbed a Persim berry, from an ever growing pile of random berries, and placed it in Omega’s mouth, which was slightly open. She slowly chewed on it and swallowed the berry, the dizzy spell slowly disappearing. “Thank you.” She said, as she recollected her thoughts. “I wanted to ask you something though, Chatot.” She said, as she remembered her question. “What is it?” Chatot asked. Omega sighed, as she asked him her question. “If my dizziness isn’t caused by any loss of blood, what do you think is causing my dizziness?” She asked “Hm… Maybe some sort of infection. Omega, I’m not a doctor, I don’t know what could have caused your dizziness.” Chatot said. Omega nodded, as she got up and got ready to leave. “Thank you, Chatot.” Omega said, with a polite bow. And off the red riolu went, leaving the guild and heading back to the pokemon heroes base.
Chapter 6 Back at the pokemon heroes’ base, Soul was watching the monitors with Rocky, as he muttered something very quiet, quiet enough that Rocky couldn’t hear Soul. Just then, their attentions were grabbed by a plea of help from Wendy. “Rocky, this is Wendy! We lost contact with Chris Partn and we can’t find the boys anywhere. Can you send help our way?” Wendy asked. But a voice quickly replied back “Cancel that request! I found the boys!” Above the raging heat, Tony was circling over two Espurr boys, one boy waving at him while the other was using Protect. “Alright Tony, we’re on our way, but please do not assist!” Wendy commanded Tony over his head set that he uses normally for the news group. Tony felt hopeless as he watched the two boys, a conflict burned, like the Canadian fire, with in his heart. Does he continue hovering over the boys or does he help the boys. He felt a slight tug on his ear when he heard Kaycee whispering. “Tony… please help those boys.” She told him. Tony nodded as he started to dive down, getting into the thick of the smoke. He knew his bad ability might act up soon, as the smoke went through his nostrils and into his lungs. He started having a coughing fit before he turned into a noibat. He and Kaycee plummeted towards the hot scalding flames. At the Guild, Chatot and Alakazam stared at the monitors, their eyes lit up in joy as they figured out one mystery “we got it!” Chatot said, happily, but then his happy face turned to a look of confusion “But… What is this metal? Is it related to Aggron? As someone who knows all 893 pokemon, not including mega pokemon, I should know this.” Chatot prattled on. Alakazam looked at the monitor and nodded “I know of it, Dr. Epsilon told me about this metal. It’s similar to the armor he uses, as it type of metal that is highly conductive.” Alakazam explained. Chatot gave Alakazam a very confused look, getting Chatot’s hint, he continued. “The dust is generating a high amount of voltage, which is creating these lighting storms.” Chatot gasped “If those lightning storms are metallic… that means!” Alakazam nodded as he pressed a button to communicate the pokemon heroes. “This is a Pokemon Heroes Bulletin!” At the pokemon heroes’ base, Chatot and Alakazam were explaining to Rocky, Milo, Soul and Dats, as well as others who were out on the field. Milo nodded “I am familiar with this metal. It’s the same metal that Epsilon uses as well as the metal for the antenna for the Command Center.” Milo explained. “It’s one of the most powerful metal to date” A female voice spoke behind the group. Everyone looked towards the voice to see Omega, Jake, and Jack behind them, before looking back at the monitors. “Powerful is a good word to use, Omega.” Alakazam said over the monitors. “Once the storms reach to Greenland… They’ll feed off of each other’s powers then explode into a force like no one has ever seen before.” “How much time do we have?” Omega asked. “Five hours and forty-five minutes.” Soul replied. A timer appeared on some of the monitors with the time quickly counting down. Omega nodded, as she was about to give her next command. “Then we… we better…” Omega felt the world spin around her, as she couldn’t tell what was going on. Questions raced through her head as her friend’s voices were distorted and muffled. She felt like she was in a dryer, being tumbled around. Come on, Omega! Pull through! She thought. But then her world soon darkened as the last thing she remembered was collapsing on the ground. “OMEGA?!” Rocky shouted, as the team surrounded Omega, franticly. They went to turn to Soul but he was gone. As if he left the team behind… Back in Canada, The teams that consisted of the Fire Rangers and Pokemon Heroes raced through the hot inferno, taking out the flames that stood in their way, while racing towards the boys. Soon the team reached the boys and were surprised at what was in their paws. Even the boys looked terrified, as if Espurrs didn’t have a terrified expression in the first place. The two boys carefully held the familiar Pachirisu and Noibat duo, Kaycee and Tony. “I guess they didn’t want to listen?” Tills asked, confused. “Sounds almost like this old man over here!” Shou joked, pointing towards Reed. “Put a lid on it!” Reed replied, lightly punching the Buizel/Shinx hybrid in the head. Wendy shook her head as she and Sam walked up to the boys and took Kaycee and Tony, which they were unconscious. Wendy then looked at the boys “You’re going to be okay, there’s a lake not far from here.” She said. Kaycee and Tony soon regained consciousness as they perked up “what happened?” Kaycee asked. “We’ll explain on the way to the lake.” Big said, as he let the boys climb onto his back. As the teams started to head towards the lake, a large explosion was heard, startling the group and soon fire quickly surrounded them, like an ambush on the allied soldiers. “We’re… we’re dead!” Kaycee panicked, as it was obvious that she was getting very stressed out over the fire. Wendy shook her head. “We’re not dead, but we need a plan b!” The Ninetails said. “Our water cannons alone can’t take this much fire. And water attacks won’t work either!” “What about Rain Dance?” Tony asked, glancing at Big Landman, the Blastoise. “Those electrical storms cancel out Rain Dance.” Big said, shaking his no while having a look of sadness. The teams all huddled up close to each other, when Wendy gave out a command. “Quick! The fire blankets!” The team got under some fire blankets, as they could feel the fire slowly climb above them. In the sick bay, Omega was semi-unconscious on a cot. Jake, Jack, Chatot* and Omega’s father, Matt Medic, who was in his Audino form, were next to Omega. Jake and Chatot were sitting on a platform next to Omega. (*Writer’s notes Chatot flew over to the base. The guild isn’t that far from the Command Center) Omega’s pant leg was rolled up and her wound was visible. Matt was examining her wound before looking up at Jake. “Her wound is badly infected… but I’m not sure if it’s a viral infection or something else.” He said. Jake nodded as he rubbed the back of his head, asking a question that everyone had on their mind. “Why didn’t she tell any one of us that she was sick?” Soul appeared behind the team and said, in a saddened voice “I think I know when she got the wound.” He said, lying. He knew when she got hurt, he even knew about the poison. But he was a man of his word. He didn’t want to betray Omega. He didn’t want Omega to feel betrayed, not like how he was betrayed countless times by people he trusted. Jake, Jack and Chatot all looked at Soul, wanting to hear what he had to say. Soul continued “I think she got her wound after the Volcano Rescue.” Matt nodded as he spoke into a microphone “Rocky, can you review the rescue footage of the volcano… We’re looking for something that scratched Omega.” “I’m on it!” Rocky said over the microphone. Chatot looked at Jake as he gave a saddening sigh “Jake, with Omega ailing, you’re the one in charge now…” Jake nodded as his body language showed sadness. “Right… But I don’t have a clue how to stop these storms.” Suddenly, Jake felt a weak grip on his tail, in surprise he looked behind him to see Omega weakly holding onto his tail. “Omega? What is it?!” Jake asked, as Matt and Chatot were both shocked that Omega had a little bit of strength left to hold onto Jake’s tail. Omega weakly spoke out, leaving a cryptic message for the team. “Out… of many…. One.” Omega soon released Jake’s tail and slipped into a coma. Matt tried to bring Omega back, while the others all looked at each other, confused and worried. “Out of many one? Do you know that means?” Jake asked. Jack and Chatot both shook their heads no. “Great! The world is in danger and Omega is speaking in riddles! Really helpful, Rachel*, really helpful.” Jack said, in a disappointed voice. (*Writer’s notes. Omega’s real name is Rachel. This is a slight joke/refrence to Rescue heroes the movie where in a similar scene, Jake tells Billy “Now’s not the time to be speaking in riddles, William.”) “This is Wendy! We’re trapped in this fire! We tried radioing in for some help but all we got as a reply is static.” Wendy’s plea of help came from a speaker in the sick bay. Chatot replied back “Don’t quit on us, Wendy. Omega is fighting for her life and isn’t giving up. And you shouldn’t give up either! THAT IS AN ORDER!” Chatot shouted. Jake nodded in agreement with chatot. He then looked over towards Omega and Matt. Matt wasn’t giving up either, as he worked franticly on trying to save his daughter. The ECG, however, was hardly registering a blip. Back in the scalding heat of Candida, Wendy lowered her head as she replied clearly “Trust me, Chatot. That is one order I want to follow.” Tills looked at Wendy as she said in a stern voice “Even when you’re lost in darkness, you must believe in tomorrow, it will come!” Big looked at Ariel as he asked, sotto. “How much longer will these last?” “About a minute, or a minute and a half at best.” Ariel replied. Then a miracle happened, the team heard the sound of water spraying above them. One of the boys look at Wendy “What’s that sound?” Reed smirked as he chuckled “We just got saved by the Angels with Burning Hearts.” The aerial team from above shot water from their water cannons and onto the scorching fire. Soon the team peaked underneath the fire blankets to see if the fire was extinguished. Indeed, it was gone and the team celebrated. Tills gave Big a huge hug as Reed grabbed Shou and aggressively rubbed his head with his knuckles. “Hey! Let go of me, old man!” Shou shouted as he tried to escape the head-lock. “You deserve this, kid!” Reed said. Sam let go of Tony as the small bat-like creature turned back into a large wyvern. Wendy also let go of Kaycee, as the small squirrel ran up to Tony and climbed on his back “TONY! I WAS SO SCARED!” she cried hugging the fluffy mane of the large beast. Soon the celebration died down as Ariel looked at Wendy. “What do we do now?” She asked “We return home.” Wendy replied.
Chapter 7 Rocky was in monitor control, alone, as he reviewed the footage from the volcano rescue. The way he was reviewing the footage was like in the style of Minority Report.* (*Writer’s notes, Minority Report is a 2002 Action/Sci-fi movie based off of famed science fiction writer Philip K. Dick (please don’t spam my messages on how that is an offensive term. Dick is a nickname for Rick… I think) with the same name. The movie features Tom Cruise as the main character John Anderton. In the first draft script, Brent Piaoski mentions Minority Report... can someone take away my keyboard rights?) Rocky silently thumbed through each clip, until he noticed one that showed Omega falling. Rocky gasped as he saw Omega get scratched in the video. “Oh man… it was my fault!” Rocky muttered to himself. He then typed on the keyboard as he spoke out loud “Chatot, Alakazam, I’m sending the image to you guys.” “We just got the image!” Chatot replied, as he and Alakazam looked at the plant. Just then, a sunflower-like pokemon walked past them and noticed the plant “OH MY GOSH!” She shouted “THAT PLANT IS POISONOUS!” Alakazam and Chatot turned to the pokemon to see Sunflora freaking out, other pokemon quickly turned to Sunflora, startled by the weird commotion she was causing. “Then what’s the cure for the poison then?” Alakazam asked, as if he was testing Sunflora. “What?! Why?! What’s wrong?!” Sunflora asked in a panic. Another pokemon came up to Sunflora. It was a small pokemon that was shaped like a wind-chime, an fūrin wind-chime to be exact. “Sunflora, relax. I’m sure it’s nothing.” The sweet pokemon said. Alakazam shook his head no. “Someone got poisoned by this plant… we need to find the cure, Chimeco.” “Oh… well, Mr. Alakazam, the cure for the poison is the root of the plant.” Chimeco replied, sweetly. Chatot and Alakazam both nodded “Thank you.” Alakazam replied. “Is there an Antidote for the poison?!” Jake’s worried voice came from the monitors. “Yes… Jake. There is an antidote.” Alakazam replied. Back at the base, everyone, but Rocky and Soul, were in Sick Bay, worried about Omega. Milo and Dats were in a corner thinking really hard about what Omega said. Maybe a little too hard. Wendy and Ariel ran in, concerned. “How’s Omega?” Wendy asked. “She’s fading.” Matt replied. “And what about her message, ‘out of many one’? Have we figured it out?” Ariel asked. Dats and Milo shook their heads at the same time. “Unfortunately not. We thought of almost every possible reason and came to the temporary conclusion of ‘That’s just Omega’s new favorite phrase’. Unless one of you have a theory to throw in.” Dats said. Milo sighed. “There’s more to that than what Dats said. I thought that she was referring to the Great Seal, where it is used at the motto… I’ve even telepathically asked Deoxys if he knew what it meant… He and Rayquaza didn’t know.” Milo said. “Something will come… I’m sure of it.” Wendy said, as she looked at Omega. Omega looked helpless as she shivered with chills. She looked so lifeless and dull laying on that cot, unconscious. The team was used to seeing Omega full of energy… But seeing their friend like this was very painful… Jake slammed his paws on a desk as he shouted “I need an answer, what is the cure for the poison?” “The cure for the poison is found in the root of the plant…” Alakazam said over the monitor. Jake nodded. “Alright, then, Wendy, Ariel, can you to get that plant?” “Wait… Let me go too?” A voice quickly interrupted Jake. Wendy, Ariel and Jake turned to see Rocky standing behind them, Soul hovering next to him. “I know I’m grounded and you can ground me until I’m old and grey, but… I have to help Omega… or else I won’t be able to live with myself.” Rocky said, his ears pinned down and his tail in between his legs. Jake nodded as he looked at Rocky. “Rocky, I want you to go with Wendy. Matt, you’re going to take Omega… We can’t waste any time with brining the antidote to Omega.” Wendy and Rocky both quickly rushed down to the docking bay. Omega’s cot turned into a gurney and Matt quickly followed Rocky and Wendy. “Ariel, I want you and Soul to head to Greenland… I’m not sure what to do yet… but I’m sure it’s going to require a lot of man-power.” Jake commanded. Ariel and Soul both nodded, as a light blue bracelet appeared on Ariel’s ankle, with Soul disappearing into the bracelet. Ariel ran to the docking bay. Jake ran to mission control and sat down in the chair, as he made a worldwide announcement. “This is Pokemon Hero Jake Justice. I want every team, Rescue teams, Explorer’s, even the Justice teams, to head to Greenland. That’s where all the storms are headed. If we find a solution, we need to be prepared.” After his announcement, he got quiet. The whole base got quiet, except for the ambient noises of various computers, the timer, and the thunderstorms. Jake sighed as he looked up at the timer. Two hours and forty-three minutes remained.
One Hour and Forty-two minutes until the thunderstorms collide. It was quite a hard time for the team, especially for Matt. He quietly watched over his daughter, as he stared at her motionless body. The worst kinds of thoughts a father could have filled his head. Thoughts of ‘What if I lose my daughter’ and ‘will she ever wake up?’ Just then, Rocky peaked into the sick bay, no words said during this moment, but they knew what they were saying. Rocky glanced at Omega then back at Matt. As a silent reply, Matt shook his head no. Rocky silently walked back to his seat, as a bolt of lightning nearly hit the jet. “Woah! If there was a time for any air races, now wouldn’t be the best time!” Rocky exclaimed “We’re lucky this plane is grounded or we’d be a flying lightning rod!” Wendy replied. That was when, Rocky got Omega’s riddle. “Out of many one! That’s it! We need a lightning rod!” Rocky exclaimed out loud. He immediately spoke into his head set. “I understand what Omega meant! We need to put up a lightning rod!” Jake, Milo, and Dat’s eyes all lit up in excitement, as Jake happily bounced his tail. “That’s it! Great work rocky!” but soon the excited face turned into a look of confusion “But… You don’t happen to know how she planned to do this plan… I mean, this is Omega… and her plans can be a bit… confusing…” Jake said, as he lightly tapped the top of his head with his tail. “Maybe we should look for a big lightning rod, and when the storm hit it… KABOOM!” Wigglytuff exactly spoke over the monitors. However, chatot shook his head no. “Nope. Too vague…” Chatot said, making Wigglytuff upset. Jack appeared on the monitor, Soul hovering behind him. “Maybe we’re supposed do some Southern engineering and use a TV antenna or an oil derrick as the lightning rod!” Milo shook his head “While Southern engineering is helpful in most situation, it’s not helpful in our situation. Besides, an oil derrick nor a TV antenna doesn’t have enough structure where the lightning will clash… we need something big…” Jake sighed “And we can’t bring a lightning rod to it…” Just then, the team heard Jack softly chuckling, as he said out loud “I have an idea. If we can’t bring a lightning rod to it, then we’re going to build it!” “What’s your plan then, Jack?” Soul asked Jack as he hovered next to the smiling Sandslash. Jack told the team his plan and how it should work. After a few minutes of planning, Jack asked Jake “Do you think you can handle that?” Jake thought about it for a moment, then he gave a nod of approval. “It’s not going to be easy… but I think we can get it done. I’m going to contact two more teams and see if they can give back up.” Jack and Soul both nodded and their images disappeared on the screen. Jake glanced over at a button with a shady icon on it, he tap that and spoke into the mic. “Commander Shadow? Commander Epsilon? Are you two busy? We’ll need your guys help…” At the volcano, Rocky and Wendy were quickly climbing up the volcano, as they reached to the Overhang, now covered in igneous. It looked like a black waterfall. Rocky lead Wendy to where Omega was injured, which was like a small cavern. “Here’s were Omega got injured.” Rocky said, as he glanced into the hole before trying to reach into the hole. “Can you see the plant?” Wendy asked, as she watched Rocky struggling to reach the plant. “No… The plant broke off when Omega scraped her leg against it. However, the root might still be in the crack.” Wendy climbed up a little more, getting up next to Rocky “Rocky, let me get it. I can fit my paw in there.” She said. Rocky shook his head no. “No! I have to get it! I was the one who injured Omega! And I have to prove… I… I have to prove.” Rocky suddenly stop and thought about his decisions for a bit, before smiling and nodding “I have to prove when I know when someone else to be the go-to-guy!” He moved over to let Wendy try to get the plant, as he offered Wendy his paw. “You try, Wendy!” Wendy nodded as she took his paw and moved in front of the hole “Good call, Rocky. Good call.” Wendy stuck her paw into the hole as she tried to find the plant. Her eyes lit up when she felt something. She grabbed it and pulled out her paw, while holding the plant. “I got it!” “Great! Let’s go!” Rocky said. The two repelled themselves off the volcano and back to the jet. “Let’s go to Greenland!” Wendy exclaimed.
Chapter 9 In Greenland, Jack was commanding the other pokemon, as they were building the largest lightning rod that was ever created. Various steel beams were carefully put up by different pokemon; the guild pokemon, the fire rangers, various pokemon teams, even the pokemon that were rescued in North Dakota were helping out. The Tetris-styled stack of steel beams looked like a tower, so the pokemon called it “The Tower” Jack continued commanding the pokemon until he noticed someone behind him. He glanced behind himself to see a giant black Arceus standing, along with a large Zoroark with metal attachments, which they both looked extremely menacingly. “Welcome to Greenland, Commander Shadow, Dr. Epsilon!” Jack greeted the two pokemon. “Thank you Jack. I see you require our assistance?” Commander Shadow, the black Arceus, asked. Jack nodded. “Yes, we need to build the tallest lightning rod, will you two help us?” Epsilon smiled, as he silently rushed towards the tower to help Grossi out with a very large, metal bar. Shadow smiled “Yes, Jack. We’ll help… but it’ll only be Epsilon and I…” Jack nodded in understanding “I understand… We’re… a bit short handed too.” Jack said. Jack hesitated on telling Commander Shadow the truth, but he eventually did. Matt and Rocky stood next to Omega, as Rocky glanced at Omega then Matt “Do… do you think we’re too late?” Rocky asked, fearing the worse. Matt also feared the worse but he tried to forget about it. “I don’t think we’re too late… but… Only time will tell…” Forty-five minutes left until the storms collide… “Rip!” Epsilon called out to the hard working Machoke, as the Zoroark climbed up the steel beams “Do you need an extra claw?” Epsilon asked, as Grossi hovered over to Rip and Epsilon. Rip nodded as he handed a very large steel beam to Grossi. “I would need an octilary hybrid by now.” Rip said. Epsilon chuckled as he helped Grossi carry up the steel beam. Commander Shadow hovered towards Sam who accidently dropped a wrench. Shadow grabbed the wrench with his mouth* and flew back up to Sam. “Here, Sam.” Commander Shadow said. (*Writer’s notes DO NOT COMPLAIN TO ME IF ARCEUS DOESN’T HAVE A MOUTH! IF ARCEUS DOESN’T HAVE A MOUTH, HOW DOES HE EAT THE TREATS YOU GIVE IT IN POKEMON X/Y/OR/AS/S/M/US/UM! I DO NOT WANT ANY OF MY MESSAGES TO BE FILLED WITH ‘ARCEUS DOESN’T HAVE A MOUTH!’ HE HAS A MOUTH! *loud screeching noises*) As Jack watched the progress on the tower, he heard a calm voice call out in his headset “Jack, we’re coming in!” Wendy said. Jack looked up to see the jet flying into view. Jack chuckled “Glad to hear, Wendy, but… you’re not the air-craft I was hoping for.” “Thanks… Jack… I’m glad to hear that I’m wanted for once…” Jake replied over the headset. Jack noticed Dark Lugi flying next to the jet, holding a metal tower with her feet. Jack chuckled as he replied back “No problem, buddy, I see you brought what I wanted. Alright then.” “Yeah… although I doubt we’ll get our damage deposit back…” Jake chuckled, as he commanded Dark Lugi to land. With a loud thud, the jet landing next to her. Jack ran up to the jet and Dark Lugi as Jake got off of Dark Lugi, Rocky, and Wendy rushing out of the jet. In the jet, Matt decided to stay with Omega. He silently pulled up a chair and sat next to her. He silently watched over his daughter, the dark thoughts filled his mind once again. He closed his eyes and silently put his face in his paws. But then he felt something touch his paw. He gasped and opened his eyes. To his surprise, he saw a red paw touching his light blue paw. He looked down to see Omega’s eyes opened once more. Instead of the lifeless weakened expression she had before when she opened her eyes, her eyes were filled with energy and life. “Don’t cry, daddy.” She said. However, it was hard for Matt to not cry. Tears filled his eyes, as he gave his daughter a big hug. As the two embraced each other in a hug, Matt whispered in Omega’s ear. “Welcome home, honey…” (Writer’s note IF YOU DO NOT FEEL SAD OVER THAT SCENE, I AM DISOWNING YOU ALL! Just joking. I care for y’all.) The team were talking about their next plan of action, Commander Shadow and Epsilon were in the conversation too. “We should get everyone evacuated before we get that large antenna installed.” Epsilon suggested. The team nodded, as Shadow pointed out “We should hurry. If we screw this up, then there will no longer be a peaceful world for us to live in…” “Alright then, let’s get it done!” A voice spoke out behind the group. The team turned to look at the person who spoke out. It was Omega standing behind them, her father standing next to her. The team seemed happy to see the red riolu standing there, her eyes shimmered with determination once more. “I haven’t been this happy to see anyone since we got Granny Hammer out of that well.” Jack replied. Omega chuckled as she walked up to the group. Jack told everyone the plan “I want everyone except Jake and I, on the jet, and all personnel off of the tower.” Epsilon smirked once more as he ran towards the tower and climbed up it. Shadow chuckled “That old Zoroark is determined… I like his spunk… for a dad.” Five minutes and fourteen seconds before the storms collide. Epsilon was on Commander Shadow’s back as he held onto the legendary Pokémon’s neck “Everyone has been evacuated!” Epsilon said, as Shadow hovered around the tower. “Perfect! Now it’s time to put the cherry on top!” Jack said, over the headset as Jake commanded Dark Lugi to carefully place the antenna on the top of the tower. After gently placing the Antenna down, Jack transformed into his Machoke form and jumped off of Dark Lugi. Soon Jake commanded the dark Lugia to fly, towards Commander Shadow. Jack landed on the tower and pulled out his wielding gun. Jack quickly welded the antenna. Soon, Jack was finished and was about to call for Commander Shadow to pick him up when a stray lightning bolt hit the tower and shocked Jack, causing him to turn back into his Sandslash form and fall onto a lower level of the tower. The team all gasped as everyone shouted out loud. “JACK!” “JACK! NO!” Rocky shouted as he was about to go get Jack, however, Omega stopped him “Wait, Rocky! Let me get Jack!” She said. Her father agreed with Omega’s plan. “Omega is well rested and is more suited for this mission then the rest of us.” Rocky nodded as he let Omega out, handing her his grappling hook. Omega took it and pointed it at a beam over Jack. Omega then grabbed onto the rope and slid down it. Once she was over the beam were Jack was at. She quickly let go of the rope and ran towards Jack. “Jack, don’t worry! I’m coming!” Omega shouted as she raced towards Jack. Epsilon shouted at her in her headset “Omega! Hurry! You have five seconds left!” Omega nodded as she picked up the Sandslash and quickly ran to the edge of the beam. Five… four… three… two… one… Did she and Jack make it? Is the world saved? That is for you to decide…
Chapter 10 The red riolu sprung off of the tower, Jack in her arms. Lightning bolts hit the tower at that exact moment. Various flying type pokemon were too scared to fetch Omega. However, a black streak swooped up the red riolu holding the sandslash. “That was a close call, Rachel.” A familiar voice called out to Omega. Omega looked up to see William, as he gave the red riolu a gentle smile. Jack soon came to, as he looked around. “What happened?” He muttered. Schatten flew to Commander Shadow as the team watched the tower as it lit up. Everyone was in awe as the lightning hit the ice and the ice quickly climbed up the tower, covering the tower in a thick layer of ice. But… what about the storms? Were they stopped? The team glanced up at the sky to see a sapphire blue peeking out of the red storms clouds. Soon, the clouds revealed the most beautiful night sky anyone has witnessed. A loud cheer came from everyone as they all cheered. “YES!” Rocky shouted, jumping in excitement. Matt silently nodded as he had a smile on his face. “Jack! You did it!” William shouted at the sandslash. Omega shook her head no. “No, William. It wasn’t Jack alone who saved the world. The whole world saved itself!” Omega said. Schatten cawed in agreement. At PKNN News, Kaycee was wrapping up her report. “And now that the world is at piece, everyone can relax and take a breather. That is all from PKNN News. Have a great night and stay safe!” Kaycee said. “CUT!” An Electivire shouted. “Okay, Kaycee, you may head home now!” he said. Kaycee sighed as she got off of her stool and went to leave to go home. Tony had already left the building to head home, or so Kaycee thought. Until she was stopped by someone who called out her name. “Kaycee?” Kaycee turned around to see Tony behind her holding a small white box. “Kaycee… Happy birthday.” Tony said, with a smile as he held out the small box to her. Kaycee took the box and opened it, revealing a pair of goggles. Tears filled her eyes as she started to cry “Tony… these goggles… I thought you broke them?!” Tony shook his head yes. “I did but I got them repaired for you, Co-là breith sona, piuthar bheag.” He said with a smile, as he told Kaycee Happy Birthday in Scots Gaelic. Kaycee cried as she hugged her best friend. But the moment was short lived as a woman interrupted. “Ummm… Tony? May I tell you something?” the woman asked. Tony and Kaycee turned towards the gothitell woman, her injuries were clear now that she wasn’t wearing make-up. “What is it, Sara?” Tony asked. “Tony… Thank you… for what you said earlier. I told Airpona what was on my mind and he tried to beat me up again, but thankfully Kelli saw the abuse and stopped him… Thank you, Tony.” Tony smiled as he nodded. “You’re welcome, Sara…” Omega was in sick bay, her father doing a quick check-up on his daughter. Omega felt bad for not telling anyone how she was feeling. A pain lingered in her heart. She knew she hurt her friends, even if it wasn’t physically. The door to the sick bay opened, as William walked in. “Omega, I already talked to Rocky about today’s mission…” William started. Omega pinned her ears downs, as she looked away from the infernape, knowing what she did was wrong “While I am proud of you for grounding him… I’m also disappointed in you for not tell anyone you’re sick… even though you told Chatot and Soul about your wound.” “I know… What I did today was wrong… I guess I should go clean a jet.” Omega said with a sigh. “And give everyone an apology…” William shook his head “No, Omega. However… I want you and Rocky in mission control soon, I think a good leader should talk to their team-mates about the mission.” William said with a smile as a he walked off. Omega and her father looked at each other as Matt nodded approvingly. Minutes later, Rocky and Omega walked into Mission Control, confused at why William ordered each other in. William looked at Rocky then Omega, giving her a nod of approval. Omega took a deep breath as she started. “Rocky… Thank you… for saving my life… Soul told me everything, even how you were determined to save my life… and um… I know I was being rough on you… because you put others in grave danger because you wanted to be a leader… but ummm.” Omega rubbed the back of her head, as she let out another deep sigh. “I also put others at risk, mentally and physically.” Rocky gave Omega a confused look. “What do you mean, Omega?” “She put the others at risk because she didn’t tell anyone that she was getting weaker.” William explained. “Rocky, I hope you accept my deepest apologies!” Omega said, doing a formal bow. “I’m so sorry, Rocky!” “I forgive you, Omega.” Rocky said, with a gentle smile.” William chuckled “Actually, you two are now Mission Select Leader Rocky Cannon and Mission Select Leader Omega Medic!” William said with a smile. The two eyes widened as they were surprised by what William said. “Wait?! Do you mean it?!” Rocky asked. Omega was also surprised too. She was only filling in for William for the day. “I… I promise I won’t let any of you down again!” Rocky said. Omega nodded. “Me too!” “I believe the both of you.” William said, as both Omega and Rocky heard a group of clapping behind them. Confused, they turned around to see the whole team applauding for Omega and Rocky. Omega and Rocky nodded as Omega gave William a big hug. “ALRIGHT! Mission Select Team Leader Canyon, Ready for duty!” Rocky said as he kicked the soccer ball into the net. “Yeah!” The End! NOT QUITE! On my next post, I'll be making a true story of pokemon heroes the story and how it came to be!
