Bizarre Ball Boogaloo
Holding herself back from cursing as she fell purely because of the young prince of Umbra grabbing her dress, Elisa was definitely not enjoying this. She was supposed to be safe away from the pit, and was supposed to check the right door instead, but no, she has to share the same fate of falling. With a soft thump, she fell on her back and finds herself in a sitting position. The boy didn't even apologize to her, and she could only send out a glare. She huffs, listening to whatever they need to do. Three candies, right, easier said than done. She motions for her Misdreavous, obviously getting what she needs to do and flies away from her owner, as she finally stands up. At least the rest was quick to be on the job, but there's a huge gap of people down here rather than the amount of candy that falls on them Eyeing the Pluviam princess who gave a suggestion, she lets out a hum as she made a retort back "Removing the wrapper can take precious time from searching and scanning the candies. Unless you want to be thorough and inspect them one by one, who knows when we'll be done," there was a teasing tone underneath, but if she offended them, that's nothing new. Not like she's gonna lose anything with her infamy She goes to one corner in the room first, inspecting the candy but not paying much attention with the ones that are obviously not the color she's looking for. Clearing out some space, or making sure those candies behind her are already checked, she proceeds to the large pile, and pushes those that are not blue, pink and purple with ease to the side. Her Misdreavous would appear next to her every now and then with a candy that looks close to the description, but none has the key symbol. Well, she needs to repeat that description to the ghost.
So the torches hadn't worked, which was probably a late observation by Tavi, but a glow from nearby dispelled the disappointment from her mind fairly quickly. Everyone else had gathered by the door to the left of the throne, where a welcoming light sent the shadows dancing away along the floor of the throne room. Assuming that the plan to open the grandiose front doors hadn't worked well by the amount of the others gathered near the next doorway, Tavi began to walk over to join them, signalling for Alie to disperse the Dragon Pulse held in her beak. The Altaria roosted back on the queen's shoulders, the attack's energy fizzling away to nothing as the Pokémon's head drooped. Tavi scratched affectionately at the bird's cheek in apology as she walked over. Locke also returned to hover around her ankles, the Aipom looking ever-curious as he looked at the others. A commotion at the door ahead drew her attention, the panicked reactions bringing Pago's queen to a run as she reached the door just quickly enough to see the queen of Pugna get yanked downward into the giant pit. Which was... slowly filling up with candy? Absurd, but sure, she supposed. At least six of the group had fallen to the bottom of the room, along with several Pokémon, but everyone looked like they were okay after the fall. Tavi instead began to look around for the source of the falling candy. Locke, on the other hand, had stars in his eyes as he looked at the candy falling below, practically drooling at the sight. Quick enough that his trainer didn't have time to react, the Aipom leaped down onto the largest pile of candy, gleefully pulling the purple wrapper off of a taffy and sticking the candy in his mouth. Conveniently, as he did so, he avoided Tavi's fuming expression at the action.
The source of said falling candy was two Pokémon rushing around the shop and dumping each jar and box into the pit. The first Pokémon was Slurpuff, which was no surprise, but the second Pokémon, the one that had been hiding in the shadows previously, was a Gengar. Neither seemed to pay much mind to Tavi as they hurriedly poured candy into the pit.

astra took out 2 mor eof her team members to help search the pit, one was grumpa, her venasaur, her technical starter, but they had a rocky relationship, but they trusted eachother and knew when to be of use, the other was a slightly newer member to the team, they were an eevee called enara, they were slightly childlike but if they needed to would be serias. "come on out you 2, we could use the help" she said relaeaseing the 2 pokemon, Grumpa saw their situation and looked to astra for information, astra told the 2 pokemon what was needed and they set off, thats when astra saw the aipom fall to the floor of the pit eatiing a purple taffy, she rushed over to it and quickly took the wrapper, "Guys! i think this one has a key on it!" she shouted to the others, the wrapper did have a key like marking for sure, but she wanted to make sure, so she moved her way through the candy to one of the royals and showed her the candy, thats when she thought, ' how did this aipom get here?' she looked up and saw one of the royals, one who hadn't fallen.
'Would they stop pouring the candy if we find the needed ones?', Valen thought to himself as he crunched on the candy, 'Is it even possible to drown in candy...? Sweet way to go, I guess" He looked up to see the dashing pokemon to and from to continue dumping all the sweets. They technically look harmless... Oh well. Valen shrugged continuing on digging around him. He'd had to scootch over to a more spacey area what with all the others calling out their pokemon. The pit's limited space became even more limited to his liking. In the end, he dug through his own area, only checking out purple wrapped taffys. He doesn't care much for lollipops or gums... He'd open one and pop it into his mouth, grab for another and then put it into his pocket for later consumption
Chara's weavile caught their attention, holding up a light blue lollipop triumphantly; it had an image of a bronze key on it. His trainer quickly received the confectionary, announcing their find loudly while patting their Pokemon lightly and resuming the search. All that was left was some purple "taffy" (what even was that? Chara was lucky to get a candy cane at home) and some pink gum. They resisted the urge to pocket some extra candy for their eventual return to Frigidium, unaware their Weavile was already doing so for them. They sneered in disgust at the thin layer of... white dust..? that was caking onto their regal clothes.
astra looked at Chara, who's pokemon seemed to have gotten one of the other candies, it looked liked the loliepop, so all that was left was the pink gum, She looked at her own pokemon who had cleared a patch and were looking through the candies. she alerted them that they only had to look for a pink gum and they got back to searching. she helped them with their pile, candies entering her hands, searched then thrown back. ((i felt like someone had to post, it got to quiet))
After her Misdreavous came back to her for about the tenth time, she's counting, yes, there's nothing really else to occupy her mind right now, she decided to shift her orders of search. The pouring candy was... questionable at the very least. She thought those still falling candies were gonna have the one they're looking for, but there's two so far, and one left that could possibly be the last one. So the raining candies was more of a distraction or makes things complicated for them, but the falling Aipom was certainly not something that should fall down. They do look familiar, so probably owned by whoever's not in the pit. Great. Hopefully they'll do something now, but it's been a while, she's getting impatient, "Reina~" she pats the pokemon on her head, "Change of plans. Can you go up and see if you can do anything with whatever's causing this?" The Misdreavous nodded her head, and float upwards with a twirl, leaving Elisa to go back to her work of searching. What was the last thing they're looking for again? Ah yes, pink gum, it should be easy to inspect every one of those. Meanwhile, Reina was able to see the remaining royal/s, and the one pokemon who's pouring the candy. She tries to float around the Gengar first, to see if she could distract it. And they were both ghost type pokemon after all.
While the Slurpuff continued pouring the candy, the Gengar briefly stopped to look over at the Mismagious. It made a little noise of acknowledgement before returning to pouring the candy in. The good news was that Slurpuff and Gengar were almost out of candy. So if when they finished some of the royals were still above the candy, those royals would likely survive that challenge. However, the short ones were in trouble.
On more than one occasion, Valen would pull his hand out from underneath the growing candy pile and have a bunch of colored candies. He'd toss out the other colors, only focusing on the purple ones. Yeah, one had already found the purple taffy needed but nothing was stopping him from grabbing some for himself The pile was now about at his chest, he noticed... He was probably in trouble, maybe he'd need to call one of his pokemon out to help him float or something While in the middle of searching for his taffy, among the assorted sweets in his hand was one pink bubble gum with a little bronze key imprinted on it "Oh, here's the pink gum thing", Valen announced, his mouth full of taffy making it sorta hard to understand
