Threw together a delta viewer since I didn't like the old method of delta viewing, which required you to find a sprite of the 'mon you wanted to preview with the delta aura in place already and just layer it below the new 'mon. This one isn't 100% accurate though, since currently PFQ manually edits each delta's image with a glow filter when they're hatched. This cannot be accurately replicated in css. I'm using drop-shadows as a subsitute.

Hello! I'm Zach. I'm an avid PFQ player and I spend most of my time here playing with CSS, lurking in forums, and clicking when I have the motivation. Lately, I've been mulling over the site interface. It's very confusing, especially to a new player. Lots of links loop, and there's a lot of dead ends in said links. It works once you get the hang of it, but it takes a decent amount of customization and learning to figure it out, a bit of a learning curve you could say. As a fun little project for myself, I decided to attempt to redesign the PFQ interface & fix up some of the looping and dead links. I have not "fixed" every single dead or looping link, only removed redundant links & brought existing links to the forefront of the interface. If links require more then removal or visibility to "fix," then I'll be leaving them alone. In order to maintain the core of what makes PFQ, well, PFQ, I've used almost entirely site assets, and attempted to match everything as best I can to the pre-existing aesthetics of PFQ. As a side note, I didn't expect this project to get so out of hand, and started working on it with my personal site skin, and it's too far along for me to adjust it to be the base PFQ skin. Second side note; I'm American, and forgot to use the British spelling on some of my mock up. Whoops! Third side note; somewhere in here the entire site's font changed for me and it became incredibly difficult for me to grab the assets I needed to keep the project looking the same & uniform. If the fonts start looking different.. that's why.

This is all fine and dandy, but creates some holes, or some flaws. For one, the drop down menus! I've done some mock-ups of those as well. Upon clicking your icon and having no notifications, this is what you will see. Upon clicking your icon and having, say, 3 notifications, this is what you will see. This drop down menu might look different then you're used too; the old drop down menu that consisted of "Profile, My Fields, Edit Avatar, and Edit Trainer" are now gone. In their place are links to the "Other Links" page and the "Options" page. These pages would look slightly different themselves if we were to go along that route, so I've created mock-ups for those as well. This Options page is, well, nearly identical to the previous one. I've only taken out the side navigation that was present since this page used to be a sub-page/category of the "Farm" page. I haven't done a mock up of the other tabs, as they are intended to be the same as they currently are. The Other Links page did get some edits, though! Starting at the "Events" section of this page. The "Pokerus," "Pokemon of The Day," and "V~Wave" buttons were removed, as links that lead you to these places are already present on the header, and are un-needed to be linked again. Moving to the "Tools" section of this page, the "Notepad" button was added to make up for the "Farm" page being removed. ("Notepad" was origonally a sub-page/category of the "Farm" page). Finally, the "Other" section of this page. The "Interactions" button was added to make up for the "Farm" page being removed. ("Interactions" was originally a sub-page/category of the "Farm" page).

Bug Effect: When downloading / using Meiryo font locally (into my fonts folder, so I can use it for photoshop stuff), most site font is changed to this font What you were doing when the bug occurred: Downloaded Meiryo font... Where the bug occurred: Yes. Everywhere. Pokefarm. Browser: Google Chrome Story of how I got here and my suspects on how this happened; So, I was working on a personal project that involved doing a mock-up of the PFQ interface as I personally would re-imagine it. (It's fun!) But in this, I started asking around for the fonts that the site uses. I talked to Cele, who provided me with a screencap of code, from, uh, somewhere (??). I went about my way to download said fonts to use in photoshop to continue my mock up, and forgot about it when I took a break to play games. Came back to check on pokefarm and something felt....... off...... Went ahead and went to forums to check on my suggestion thread, and upon entering the forums, I knew there was a problem. After sending screenshots to my friends and trying to figure out why no other sites were affected, we came to the conclusion that the site is probably mass-using the Meiryo font if downloaded locally, and some proper markers or flags or. Something. Aren't set up in code to let it know to stop using said font on most everything else. Then, I typed up this thread, tabbed out to grab another screencap, and its fine. Its back to normal. I have no idea what to think of this. I feel like I'm going crazy. Did neit notice me complain about it in the discord chat and fix it instantly? Did my computer / internet fix it? what? what? i didnt uninstall anything. I feel like im losing my mind. The page I'm on right now is still bugged. but the other tabs arent. OH MY GOD THE FONTS EVEN CHANGED IN THE LITTLE TAB . im crazy i think. one last screenshot to prove before i move this to my journal.
