shinies are actually possible regardless of chain! A random shiny with no chain is referred to as "full odds shiny", each part of a chain just fractionally changes the odds of shiny! :)

started a numel chain for the type race. got the first shiny yesterday and got another shiny today. within a 217 hatched chain. O.o

Got this Quokuddle by complete random chance AND it's the very first one I have ever hatched. I just wanted the eggdex and I am in absolute disbelief
