The Lunar Depository [OPEN]
His eyes lit up. Another garbled, then, "The letter said we were wild Pokemon, but you knew we were human. How? Why?" He held back his name. That was his only leverage.
Nova's eyes drifted up to meet Deon's. He didn't really seem to want to answer questions right now. "If you have any questions, you can take them up with Elizabeth. She simply asked me to be here, and told me that the newcomers were humans. That is all that I know." "Once again, I'm gonna need your name if I'm going to hand you an occupation."
It put quite a bit of stress on the Mawille as she trudged her way up towards said laboratory. Silently, she questioned why the teleporter couldn't have brought her inside right away. All of her movements felt off, like her steps could have been a lot longer and her arms could reach a bit further. No matter... She'd adjust... Themis raises her eyes slightly, seeing that she wasn't the only... pokemon... who was making their way towards the building. None of them seemed eager about going inside. Still, once she reached the doors, she shouldered it open, not trusting the strength of her new form

He looked down, crossing his arms and floating up a bit. He'd obviously have to move again, or was he supposed to stand in front of the receptionist's desk the whole time? However long this took, anyway. "Deon."
"Deon... right." Nova picked out the file, and slid it across the table. "Yeah, this is you alright." He opened it up and gazed at the 'OCCUPATION' section. "Okay, so you've been given three different choices on which one you're allowed to go into. Don't take forever to pick one, alright? I've got to get through everyone else as well." "You can either be a Forest Researcher (New Occupation!), a Plague Researcher, or an Occupation Leader (New Occupation!). The choice is yours. If you have any questions about any of these occupations, feel free to ask them now." Nova's gaze drifted to the Mawile who had walked through the door. He was busy dealing with Deon at the moment, however, and so he wasn't too worried about her.
He looked down. "Could you describe what they entail?" He wasn't going to risk locking himself into a position he couldn't do well in, of course. And he could sense the presence of another mind (and woah, wasn't that weird) and gave a side glance over his shoulder before looking back.
"Well, the Plague Researcher is a general researcher across all fields of the Plague. They get to do a little bit of everything, yeah? The Forest Researchers get to go into the dangerous Ieri Forest to take a look at how the plague affects the creatures that currently live in there. Or, apparently Elizibeth thought you were a 'special snowflake' as you can become an Occupation Leader. You get to choose any of the occupations that are currently open for grabs and you can be the head of all of it. You make sure that things get done for that category. And that's about all."
He nodded. "Occupation leader. I will do better in positions of directivity." And it would give him a look at other areas, too, as well as the chance to learn more about his circumstances and the others there... that, and the other options weren't that appealing to him right then.
"Mmmm, okay. Well, the two options you can choose for for Occupation Leader are 'Plant Researcher' and 'Plague Control'. Plant Researchers are people who specialize on research in the Research Grounds, a large field with tons of wild grass. Or, you can be the leader of the Plague Control, kind of like the police force around here. They make sure that nobody gets hurt and all that."
In his signature haughty gait, Hyde hooked his newly adapted paw around the handle and thrusted open, meeting an air much more professional than he had expected when laying his eyes on the reception room. Serving a skeptical glance or two at everyone else, he made his way to the counter. He scrappily hid his gawk at the oddly colored Scolipede at said counter.
