Returning to one of the corridors after making a detour for a glass of water, Ama did eventually find the goat again, the first thing she noticed was how the boring white now had a rather large splodge of brown-red on the wall, scowling, she found that he had indeed, not moved from his position, the object hovering just outside of his chest was dimly flickering and had several fractures, dust was on his lap, and he was, quite clearly, out cold. Kneeling, and carefully placing her glass somewhere clean of the goat's clearly furious battle with the wall, she felt for a pulse and was quite relieved to feel the hear beating away with regular fervour, *Ok then, so your life is linked directly to this, your body functions are more autonomous then usual and will likely cease only if this fully shatters... Well, time to get you patched up...* grasping the bandage roll and starting to get on with the work, it was sloppy and far, FAR from skilled in the field, but after a solid thirty minutes, she'd managed to get him cleaned off and tidied, the next part was something she was unsure of whether to do or not, especially given the aura she could feel coming from the object floating just outside his chest, it wasn't death in the traditional sense, no, he'd make it just fine, it just gave her an odd feeling, like being around someones bedside table with another, and the feeling in the room, never coming from the person itself.

Mizuki had let out a few soft giggles along the way back to the room, though had finally let go of Kudret's ear once they reached the bed. Her body was starting to feel heavier by the minute, though when she closed her eyes for what felt like merely a second, an image, or memory perhaps, flashed by again. She opened her eyes again and shook her head, placing a hand to her forehead. "Again...why does that keep happening...daddy, where are you...?" The last part was merely a whisper, the feeling of fear for some reason creeping in again. "Memories?" Kuja had admittedly been intrigued when Ayanami mentioned he was 'probing her soul', though at the same time the idea of messing with one's soul didn't sit well with him. Still, he decided not to say anything on the matter; he'd worked too hard to earn this man's trust. "Why the interest in her memories? Hasn't she been in your care all this time?" "Only for the past few years", Ayanami paused a moment before continuing, pulling his hand away from the girl. The man seemed unsure about telling Kuja anything else, though spoke up after a moment. "I found her in the Raggs Kingdom during the war, though she had no memories at all at the time. I've been trying to figure out if she truly remembers nothing, or if someone simply...sealed those memories away." ((one day, my brain will work with me again, I swear xD))

Rowan's excitedly curious expression darkened the instant Kahlua asked about the angel's wings. Somewhere inside of him he knew this was going to happen, perhaps ever since he'd found about this strange tower, that someone would speak to him about his wings. He'd hadn't been sure who would have brought it up, perhaps Laura would have mentioned something. Kudret might have done it, after Rowan had accidentally revealed part of his dream. It could have been Ama in her usual cold, uncaring way. He supposed he had reaped what he had sown, having asked this new person about their own body's attributes. A moment of silence passed before the angel raised his eyes again, though he didn't quite meet Kahlua's gaze. "They aren't Vestigial, no. Normally I can fly freely with them, but right now I.. I can't. Outside this tower were in, this world, it takes things away from you. I haven't been able to use them since... well not for a long while now."
As soon as Aislin climbed onto Pterodactyl-Laura's back she flew off, circling through the clouds of poisonous gas that had by now descended into the gardens. Laura moved as fast as she dared, irritated by this obstacle now that the time was limited to the dragon's ability to hold on. Still, they arrived at their destination without any major difficulties. The two hovered outside a 2nd-story window of one of the buildings no longer protected by Rikazu's barriers. Without hesitation Laura smashed the window, dropping herself and Aislin off through it, inside the building. One proken window would not endanger the mission restrictions.Once on their own feet the dino-Laura vanished, appearing to absorb itself into the humanoid Laura. The siren gestured Aislin to follow and ran quietly to a nearby corner where an interior hallway connected to the one within. From down the hall sounds of fighting could be heard. Laura peered around the corner, motioning Aislin to do the same. Down the hallway was a very strange seen, one a person could only attribute to a battle between an illusionist and a magician. A black cloud filled the large portion of the hallway closest to Laura and Aislin's position. Staring at it was nearly impossible, as it seemed to defy logical shape and form. It was both swirling cloud, splashing liquid, and shifting solids all at once. No origin a was discernible, but the mass appeared fully in control of its motions in the way only sentient beings are. What was unmistakable about the strange entity was that it was clearly locked in combat with a humanoid figure farther down the hallway, hidden from view through the mass of black fog. Tendrils of undefined matter spiraled and flailed and struck, but the indistinct individual countered them, holding the attacks at bay. Occasionally the person would attempt to strike back, shooting some kind of projectile that only disappeared into the indistinct mass. This back and forth continued for a few seconds before a sudden red glow appear from something the person was holding. As soon as the light appeared Laura instinctively covered her ears for what was about to come. Vibrations suddenly shook through down the hallway and beyond. Not Explosion vibrations, but rather simply sound. The sort of sound that seemed to creep in through one's ears and down the spine, leaving the distinct impression that something very important, something that should always remain secure, had just been shattered. It's said that the actual sound heard is different to each individual. As the sound rent the air, the black mass began to shift violently. Not in any direct attack, but rather as though it was attempting to fight off some great invisible pain. It roiled, but even as it fought it began to shrink. The undefined matter collapsed into itself until had formed a single, solid form. The form of a young woman in a uniform not unlike those worn by the guards Aislin and the others had joined to fight the dragon. What was strikingly familiar about the woman, more so than her uniform, was her identity. It was Laura. Without a doubt, for this younger Laura looked almost exactly as Aislin had seen her throughout all the travelling they had done. This was a Laura without her illusionist abilities, her true form. And beyond, with the black mass formed back into the younger Laura, her adversary was now clear. Wearing the same uniform as the other guards, it was unmistakably Rowan. He carried a strange bow made of an unknown black material, though runes appeared to be glowing along the length of the weapon. His expression was clear, focused, and without a trace of hesitation or uncertainty for his enemy in from of him. Between the pair, fading now that Laura had been forcibly returned to her true form, were strings of black lightning floating through the air. Except it wasn't lightning, it was a series of cracks spreading toward the Siren, as though the very space between them had been cracked open and was now sealing itself back into normalcy. Whatever attack the angel had unleashed, it had forced the younger Laura to lose her illusion, and had done so very painfully. In moment the two resumed their battle, the younger Laura pulling out a set of daggers that appeared to be glowing with some kind of magic, rushing toward the angel who in turn shifted stance in preparation for close combat. The two would not strike at each other however, for in a flash Laura -the one current one that had escorted Aislin to the scene- appeared by the two foe's sides as they were just about to clash. "SLEEP! The siren commanded, her voiced laced with the unmistakable magical influence Sirens were famous for. Unprepared for the sudden assault on their conscience by a third entity, both the Younger Laura and Rowan collapsed into a stupor, dropping their weapons in the process. The siren bent down and picked up her other self's magical daggers, as well as Rowan's Rune-imprinted bow. "Of course, this scene is different from what really happened." Laura spoke to Aislin, walking back toward her, "Rowan was the only competent guard back then after all. So our exact meeting went a little differently, but this is where we met. This is where it all began." The siren smiled at the human girl, the slightest sign of sadness laced into her expression. Words suddenly appeared in front of every person who had entered the mirror:
The Dragon has been killed, the thief has been defeated. Congratulations! You have successfully completed the mission! You will return from this place is 10 seconds. 10... 9... 8...
10 seconds later, every person who had participated in the battle would find themselves standing back in the room of mirrors, the mirror they had just been fighting inside gliding silently away to return to all the others floating around the area. If they had been carrying any of the weapons they had been been supplied they would find themselves still carrying them.

In the time it had taken for Laura's group to finish their business in whichever world they'd gone to, Ama had returned from her sojourn with the Goat, she had originally been quite pale, but the colour has soon returned to her features once a significant distance away from said Goat, she watched as Laura's group returned, and then immediately, without a word, slid the first mirror, a blue and red framed one, into place, "Right then, Kahlua and anyone else who wanted in, be ready, we're gonna be swapping in and out quite often with these other worlds, Aislin, if you want in, now's your time to speak up or you'll have to wait until we get back from this one." she didn't move from her spot however, didn't even turn around, she just stood there, waiting for a response for once in her life, "First order of business is some place called Gundorada, though something about needing to be in Heim Rada first, I'll explain what we're there for once there." ((I have nothing else to add here at this moment in time))

Kudret looked over in concern, noting how tired Mizuki seemed to be. Though if her reaction was any indication, she was still receiving memories from the seal. At least the separation from Kuja doesn't seem to have any effect on whatever was keeping her magic in check. That was most helpful in this situation. Kudret wracked his brains for something else they could talk about to keep her occupied until Rikazu came back. *Cub, I don't mind being a distraction.* 'Are you sure? I mean...' *Call it payback for a bit ago, eh?* The rhino laughed, and Kudret couldn't help but smile a little. 'Alright then, one moment.' "Mizuki, if you don't want to rest, would you like to meet my partner? We were reunited shortly after coming here." Kudret didn't exactly wait for an answer, instead calling out in a softly-spoken incantation, "Diemia, Guardian of Stone, please heed my call and come forth!" On cue,the rhino manifested in the room, neatly wedging himself between the walls to avoid crushing the bed or impeding a path to the door. "Hello!" he rumbled out a greeting, twisted his head slighty to view the two on the bed. "My name is Diemia, a Stone Mana. Pleasure to meet you, Mizuki. My cub speaks highly of you and your group." Aislin followed Laura down the hallway, watching in utter fascination at the fight she was peeking at. She had never seen such a battle before, but when the red glow appeared only had time to glance at Laura before the sound came. That sound... it seemed almost a mixture of them, from the rip of paper or fabric to the rending of metal to the carving of flesh from bone. Underneath it was a high-pitched droning beep that tried to muffle her hearing to the singular, drawn-out mixture of noise. Aislin frowned slightly, digging one finger into her ear in an effort to get rid of the droning beep at the very least when it suddenly faded some, causing her to look up at the now-clear forms of the two adversaries. Aislin had no time to take it in though, as her Laura ran past to appear at the two's side and put them to sleep. She drew forward a little to meet the illusionist halfway, who then revealed that this was where she and Rowan had first met. While the mission complete message showed, she almost absently accepted the rune-marked bow Laura had pressed into her hands, and then found herself surrounded by a different set of sounds, the ancient drone finally fading completely. No sooner had they all appeared though did she turn her attention to Ama at the sound of her voice. Aislin was about to question her significance at being singled out until Ama mentioned the names. She gasped in delight. "I know that world quite well, yes I want in!" Nevermind the fact that she shouldn't know any world outside of her own, she could always explain later. That was one she revisited quite often, and had regretted being unable to see again; getting to step into it would be a fantasy come true. Aislin turned to Laura with excitement written in her face, remembering in time to keep her voice low to prevent Rowan from hearing. "You'll come too, right Laura? From what I know, Gundorada's gonna be pretty noisy; we should be able to talk fairly freely." She paused, and then added hurriedly, "Of course, you could just stay here and I'll sit out the one after this, at least I'm assuming that's what will happen here, I don't the mirrors exist in the other worlds we'll be going to..." About halfway through the sentence she had dropped her voice a bit further, indicating she was more speaking aloud her thoughts on the matter. She turned her eyes back up to Laura, clearly waiting for an answer. Unless Ama ushers them in right away, that is. Kahlua hummed in thought. "So the wings are used in your species, but thanks to this world it was taken away from you. Not sure what it would take from me other than what it already has taken." He returned to the other part of Rowan's sentence as he added, "At the same time, this tower is technically outside this world yet also in it, so you have the ability to use your wings again now, but haven't done so." He gestured towards the mirrors, accidentally gesturing at Ama as well. "Why not come with us on the thieving spree then? It'll be bigger than this area, and could keep you occupied from thinking too hard," the wry twist on the poison cat's lips were hard to miss. Kahlua finished in a more serious tone, "Don't deny yourself the opportunity to be free for a while just to spite everything else in existence, including yourself." What Kahlua did not add was that if this angel further resisted, he'd drag him in himself. He had experienced that same set of emotions back on his planet, and from the looks of things Rowan was dangerously close to falling off the edge. It was only thanks to Zerik that Kahlua had pulled back from that edge; the cat could only hope that someone could help him make sure the angel didn't do the same. ((Humming in thought, I've since discovered, is that annoying little "Hmm..." you see in stories. Also, Aislin's still holding the bow in her hands, she's yet to strap it to the satchel.))

Mizuki's eyes twinkled in curiosity when Kudret mentioned his partner, and shortly after called forth Diemia. She watched in awe as the rhino appeared in the room, the action somewhat reminding her of her own summoning magic. "H-hello", she mused in return. A speaking animal shouldn't surprise her, and yet somehow it did. "It's a pleasure to meet you too, Diemia." She then fell quiet for a moment, unsure what else to say. "So...you two are from the same world then? Um, what exactly is a Mana?" Her gaze shifted to Kudret for a moment. "I'm sorry, you might've explained that to me before already, but my head is...I can't...quite remember..." It was so difficult to focus her thoughts. Rikazu had kept his magic up until the message appeared that the mission had been completed, though once they were back in the room of mirrors, the male continued to feel the magic coursing through his veins...it was insane just how rapidly his magic restored itself in this place, a feeling he hadn't quite been used to anymore since arriving on Gaia Zero. At the very least though it seemed like everything around him had stopped turning to ice for the time being, which was a good sign. More than anything, he just wanted to return to his daughter's side now. It hadn't taken long for Rikazu to return to the room where Mizuki and Kudret were, a slightly surprised look on his face at the sight of the rhino in the room. He then noticed that Mizuki was awake, and figured that whatever was going on in this room was to keep her calm, or distracted, or even both. "Daddy..." Once again, Mizuki couldn't help but let the word slip out of her mouth, which caught Rikazu by surprise again. He didn't show said surprise this time though, and instead smiled at the blue-haired girl. "Hey kiddo", he mused, walking into the room, past the rhino and towards the bed. "How are you feeling?" She should've still been resting, that much was for sure. He then looked at Kudret for a moment. "Thank you for looking after her while I was away." "Tired..." Mizuki responded quietly as Rikazu sat down on the bed next to her. A moment later the male pulled her in a tight embrace. "You have no idea how glad I am that you're safe..." He needed this, just this...holding his kid in his arms.

Ama had decided to wait a little bit, see if anyone else wanted to jump at the chance to see other worlds without the restrictions in play, but her patience was not something that could be considered a 'Strong Suit', and as such, it only took ten minutes before she requested people in the mirror with her usual fashion, once she stepped through, she fell like a boulder to the ground below, missing the platform entirely, while she wasn't even remotely harmed, it was something amusing to see, someone stepping clean off an eighteen foot platform, a cursory look around alerted her to stairs she'd missed completely, "Get down here and I'll go over what we're here for! Should be a... 'Safer' way down than this one!" yes, she yelled it, the machinery in the Volcanic area plus the distance between her and anyone else meant there was little choice in the matter, she had a little time to muse to herself as they made their way down, *Right... so from here I'll need Hot Water Samples, a Fruit of Eden and a pair of Stellar Stones? I doubt it's the Time Stones, those are too critical to this world from what I remember...*

"I had my fun dear, I'll follow you this time." Laura smiled and Aislin, following her toward Ama's mirror. "No need to rush, I'm always available for a good chat." In truth the Siren was a little worn out, she hadn't used her abilities since arriving at this world and she'd been rustier than she'd been prepared for. Seeing her old self fight had reminded her how much action she used to get and was quietly appreciative that things had slowed down since then. Still, if she was rusty then she'd more action to get back into things. Rowan certainly wasn't in a position to get back into his old groove, and the Siren wasn't about to drop an opportunity to get an edge on him. "oh, by the way, be sure to give that Bow to Rowan at some point would you? I'm sure you'll be able to." Laura added to Aislin, handling her own set of elemental Daggers she'd taken from her memory.
Rowan felt particularly uncomfortable by now, with laying out his decisions on the use of his wings and suggesting the Angel come along on Ama's 'thieving spree.' Rowan was ready with a refusal, but he didn't even get a word out before Kahlua moved to a more serious tone. Don't do just to Spite the world. That one put an edge through his thoughts. The Rowan just stared between the Cat-man and Ama for a moment, trying to get his mind working again, to try and find a reason to say no. He couldn't do it, nothing was coming to mind. So without looking at Kahlua the Angel trudged over to Ama, standing and waiting. This was going to go very badly, he told himself. When Aislin and Laura suddenly came over and joined the que, it only reinforced this outlook. He didn't really look at them though, as he wasn't looking at anyone, and for the moment didn't notice the weapons the two now carried.
It was go time. Ama had gone through the mirror. Rowan followed, though he managed to stay properly on the platform. He also made sure to take the stairs before anyone could try and make him jump off and glide down on his wings. He'll get to using them on his own time. Eventually. Once at the bottom he stood by Ama gain, waiting for more directions while trying not to sweat in the heat from this apparently volcanic region. Laura stepped through and followed Ama off the edge of the platform, though voluntarily. Her arms transformed into large wings resembling a harpy and she glided slowly down to the rocks below.

Kudret nodded at her initial question, then spoke for the second one. "Yes, we are. I do not believe I've explained Mana to anyone, however. Aislin already knew when I mentioned them once." Dismissing that last statement, he shifted to make himself a bit more comfortable on the bed and began. "In our world, Mana are the driving force of nature itself. They are not only the embodiment of their elements, but also the ones ruling over said elements. The highest Mana, Lilith, is said to have created our entire world and still watches over us even now." He pulled his bag over to him and pulled out a couple of Heal Jars to show her. "Mana and alchemists pact for life, becoming partners in battle and in alchemy. It's incredibly rare for a partnership to not work out, simply because both sides must agree to the pact being formed in the first place." He put the healing items back and unsheathed his sword. "For battle at least, Diemia and I discovered that if we create a sword and shield combo using stone, he can change it to harder forms of stone, including diamond though we'd have to work up to it. I'm not sure if it will work in that way here, but we can try." Diemia finally decided to speak up and add, "My cub here can call on me in battle if he needs to as well, though most alchemists don't do it unless the need is dire. He's an exception." The rhino turned his head enough to reach out towards the bed, and Kudret immediately returned the gesture by running a paw over the horned snout. His ears caught the sound of footsteps and he let go of the rhino, sheathing his sword and returning it to its place in time for Rikazu to step inside the room. He merely nodded in return for Rikazu's statement, and then discreetly looked away at the embrace. Kudret wasn't sure what he should do now. Simply leave? Stick around? Hmm... Kahlua noted with satisfaction that his words seemed to strike a chord within the angel, for he didn't protest going along with the cat any further. Kahlua had not expected the heat however, and halted just before the edge of the platform, blinking in surprise. He shook it off quickly enough and located Rowan heading down some stairs, to which he swiftly went to. He may have been to a volcano before, but that one had been carved into and turned into a huge workshop/factory. This one seemed a little... wilder. Kahlua made it down safely and then looked around a little more properly. It seemed as though they were about halfway up the mountain proper, in the middle of one of several trails leading up towards the crater. The poison cat decided to just wait for Ama to speak up on where to go next, keeping an eye out for any people coming up this particular trail. Aislin had the foresight at least to take off her winter coat and stuff it into the bag before entering the mirror (and ditch the second spear at Alex's feet with a note that read 'it's for Tore'), but it still hadn't truly prepared her for the heat. She grimaced at the feeling, but did her best to ignore it and walked down the stairs, stopping briefly to rearrange her stuff to carry it all more comfortably. She was already dismissing her original feeling of the heat as unimportant compared to what she was doing: she was in the world of one of her favorite games, travelling alongside people she dared to call friends, on a giant looting spree that will span several worlds. The excitement returned quickly, enough so that she walked over to Ama and asked, "So what are we getting here? I happen to know this region fairly well alongside Gundorada itself." She took another look around and added, "Though it appears we're a few more years into the future than the view I got to see..." The bow was now nestled safely from sight by using the coat to cover it. She didn't want Rowan to see it until she got him alone; it would make for a good peace offering.

"First, Hot Water Samples, don't get why they'd need Volcanic Water samples, but hey-ho, Second, a Fruit of Eden, and third, 'Stellar' Stones." Ama ripped a piece of her list off and handed it to Aislin, "You'd probably know better what the hell those are, so I'll leave those two up to you, this is just the list for Heim Rada, we still have Gundorada to do after this, and even then, this is just the start." taking quite the obvious deep breath, she savoured the air for a moment, "Almost like what Midgar would've been, disgusting, but this is the path they chose, let 'em ride it out." walking off for a bit, she peered into one of the windows around, noting Mining Equipment on the inside of one such abode, "Hrm, two task forces, one to find anything on that mini-list here, and I'll go deal with the Mines, if it's new, it's probably monster-infested and they could likely use some assistance in clearing it out."
