Celere by now had a sizeable stack of glasses and bottles surrounding her table, and was still completely sober, when Kidon retuned with the girl, she took careful stock of the situation... the Male looked visibly worn out, and there was no mistaking the red stain on his trouser legs, "Kidon, not prying, but you should really stop doing anything, you're falling apart quicker than a Frost Demon with it's head torn off."
The Daughter on the other hand, looked... happy, and more vibrant than she'd been just over an hour ago, something had happened to make he chipper.
As for the wingy guy, as he asked for a drink, she secretly hoped they gave him whatever what strongest, she'd love to see a so-called Angel get absolutely wasted, just for nothing more than a cheap laugh.
When the waitress came back, she passed Rowan a large glass of red-gold liquid that looked rather like flame. Taking the glass, he swirled the liquid for a moment, admiring the fire like aspects of the drink. Then, raising it to his mouth, he took a draft. The drink burned as he drank it, yet it also felt refreshing. Rowan felt energetic again, and quickly drank the rest. Now that was a good drink. Placing the empty glass on the counter he asked the waitress for another one.

Lynn followed after them as they headed for the equipment store, but then ran ahead slightly, remembering she still wanted to return the rapier she'd borrowed.
Once inside, she instantly made her way to the shopkeeper she'd seen earlier that day and apologized for running off with the rapier.
"That's absolutely no problem, miss. I know you tried to help in keeping the town safe. You may keep that rapier, if you wish", Lynn was slightly perplexed at the response, but happily nodded after. "That'd be great, thank you!"

Alex and Nicole entered shortly after Lynn and Alex was awestruck by the displays "Never have I seen such a display! In our world stores just have screens with displays...but this place you can actually touch the armor." Alex walked over to a display of chestplates and rubbed it and almost squeed "Forget everything I said, this place is awesome!" Nicole just chuckled at Alex's reaction "Like a kid in a candy store...hmm...better have a look around myself." Nicole started to look around as Alex seemed to jump to each display in excitement. Nicole walked past and giggled "Maybe if you behave yourself I'll buy you something special." Alex stopped realising how he was acting and stood up straight and composed himself "Ah...hmm. Yes, fine selection this store has." Alex cleared his throat and approached a store clerk with his list "Excuse me, I was wondering if you can help fit me into a set of your Armor?" the clerk looked over the list and nodded "Yes I do believe I can help. Follow me." the clerk led Alex to the back room and had several other workers bring a set of Armor. Nicole watched the whole thing while picking up a bow and pulling on the string "Hmm...wish I was more knowledgeable with bows...why couldn't there be at least be pistols?" Nicole just sighed as she tried to figure out what made a good bow
Destroyer of Worlds, Conqueror of universes and a darn good cook.
Night fell over the village, and many of the residents went to take some rest or start performing small fixes from the battle previously in the day, Celere, rather than take one of the comfortable beds, opted to instead take a pillow to rest her head against as she dwelled in the basement, away from any moonlight that might make her transform into an Oozaru, the stone floor was far from comfortable, but it was a small price to pay to avoid becoming a genocidal ape.
Ser on the other hand, slept on the grass, eyes taking one look at the stars above before extinguishing the campfire, she didn't particularly want any of the nocturnal creatures making a bee line for her makeshift camp, and with this other person here, she had to take some liberties as is.
Having done all her shopping, Lynn had returned to the inn. A few thoughts had crossed her mind on how weird of a day it'd been, but with that, she dozed off in a comfortable bed.
----
Unable to sleep, Mizuki got up from her bed. From the window in her room she could see that it was already dark outside. Kuja would still be outside right now, alone and unable to get into any building to sleep. That man had a love for luxury, and even at his worst, he'd always given her a decent place to sleep at. Grabbing the pillow and blanket of the empty bed next to her, she made her way downstairs and then outside. If anyone saw her, they'd probably disapprove, but she felt like it was something she had to do. She found Kuja on a bench near the inn, an amused smirk on his face as he noticed her nearing him. "I knew you wouldn't stay away very long."
She held out the pillow and blanket and sighed. "It's not exactly what you're used to, but it's the best I can do for you", she said, ignoring his comment.
He narrowed his eyes, but accepted both from her. "I never did quite understand you very well", he mused, then gestured to the spot next to him on the bench. She hesitantly sat down next to him, wondering if she should've gone outside at all. Another sigh left her mouth. "I talked to Odin today, you know. All those times, I've felt horribly guilty, yet he doesn't blame me for anything." Her body was trembling slightly.
"That's what you actually wished for, isn't it? To get blamed so that none of them would answer your call anymore", Kuja wondered, noticing her trembling and wrapping the blanket that she'd given him around her.
"Well, I doubt anyone would ever blame you, that blame all falls to me. After all, I forced you to help me", he then said. It surprised her how calmly he could say that.
"You didn't even really need me", she responded with a glare.
"No, but I enjoyed your company." At that, her face reddened. Even after all that, it still flustered her when he told her that. Throwing the blanket back in his face to hide her own, she ran back to the inn without saying anything else.
After one or two more drinks, Rowan decided he'd had enough. Grabbing his bow and quiver and bag, he carried them up to his room. Third on the left, never go to the right, he remembered, chuckling at the second part. Entering his room, he tossed the bag in a corner, laid his weapon on a corner, cleared off his bed, and proceeded to fall asleep very quickly.
Nicole watched Lynn leave the store and noticed it was dark outside already "Hmm...that late already huh?" Nicole then spotted a table with normal looking clothes on it "Hmm...I'm sure Alex would appreciate something more comfortable to sleep in than a suit of Armor...for that matter so would I." Nicole continued her shopping as Alex finally stepped out of the back room in a suit of Steel Armor "Well, it might not have the tech, but it definetly feels good to be in armor again." The store clerk stepped out behind him "I'm glad you like it. We should have your helmet ready by tomorrow." Alex nodded and bowed politely "Thank you sir, and you're sure it's ok to give this to me free?" "Oh yes, after all you helped defend the village from the empire. Even in your underwear." Alex gave a weak nervous laugh at the store clerks last remark "Hehe...Yeah...Well that's mortifying to hear the village knows about my underwear..." Alex just bowed again and headed for the weapons displays. He grabbed a sword and small sheild as was recomended on the list and strapped them on, but then he noticed the Claymore. He stared and admired it before picking it up. Heavy, but the weight felt good and even. Alex grasped the hilt in both hands and gave it a quick downward swing, being sure to avoid hitting anyone or thing "Oh yeah, you're definitely coming with me." Alex made the necessary adjustments to fit the Claymore on his back along with his sheild, never hurts to have a back up in case you find you find yourself suddenly disarmed from your first weapon. Alex was about to grab Nicole when he walked by a display that caught his eyes "Crossbows?" Alex looked at for a moment then looked at Nicole who was talking with a clerk "Nicole used guns...Crossbows function kind of like guns...I think she might like this." Alex grabbed one of the Crossbows along with a quiver of bolts and walked over to Nicole "Hey Nicole, look at what the sell here." Nicole looked at Alex and when she saw the Crossbow she almost freaked "Oh my god is that a Rifle!?" Alex shook his head no and Nicole looked disapointed "Well it looked like one. You shouldn't get a girl's hope up like that Alex." Alex gave a light chuckle "Sorry it's not the rifle of your dreams, but I figured it's more your style. It's a Crossbow, it's alot less advanced then the ones us Terrans use but the concept is the same. Just think of it as the gun of bows and arrows." Alex handed the Crossbow to Nicole who took it both hands carefully. Certainly felt familiar like a gun. She held it like she did with her Rifles and stared down where she assumed a sight might go "Yeah...this could work." She then removed her bow and quiver of Arrows and replaced with the crossbow and bolts and then suddenly hugged Alex "Your the most thoughtful friend ever. You know that?" Alex just smiled "Well I try." just then a clerk approached with two packages "Your order miss." Nicole ended the hug and turned to the clerk "Thanks. No charge right?" the clerk nodded and Nicole handed one package to Alex "You're not the only one that can be thoughtful. Come on, it's getting dark." Nicole exited the store leaving Alex looking puzzled at the package "What is this?" Alex soon realised Nicole was long gone and ran out the store after her "Hey Nicole, wait up!"
When the next morning broke, Kidon had already been awake for several hours, and upon Camilla coming down the stairs, bed hair splayed all the place, there was little he could do but sigh, "Really? First day you get to go out and do what you want, and you couldn't be bothered to make yourself remotely presentable? Atta girl, chip off me alright." Camilla was still relatively sleepy, and yawned as she sat on one of the stools, the Monkey-Tail likewise sat on one next to hear, cracking a few bones as she stretched out the aches from the night before.
"Ugh... Hey Kidon, before I hit the road, mind doing me a favour? I got a tail that needs being cut off... I can't keep finding a hole to hide in at night, not to mention I won't always have that luxury out in the wilderness." the male looked at her, but agreed to do so, within mere seconds, the furred tail was in a bin behind the counter, *That's at least one threat out the way, for about a week or so before it grows back at least.*
Lynn had woken up relatively early, though she spent some time getting ready before actually heading down the stairs.
"Gooooddd morning everyone!" she mused as she rushed down. She was feeling unusually energetic today for some reason.
Mizuki, on the other hand, had never made it back to her room upstairs and was fast asleep at a table near the corner of the room, the noises not disturbing her sleep in the slightest.
