Tournaments - Season 12

I think this is not fair, that type race and tournament are incompatible. Not everyone can afford hatching eggs separate for tournament and type race and it takes away possible points from type race if someone choose tournament... Lower chance to get max

You can easily use the lab, the daycare, and the shelter even the supplier if you want to take that route. You can easily participate in both. But if you want to place in the top 100 of the tournament then you're just going to have to prioritize or choose a pokemon on your typerace team that matches with the types. They shouldn't have to change the objective because people don't want to change their minds or use the different methods available to them.

Yet it's fair to say the objective needs changed to make it easier for the most dedicated to do both? I think we'll find that's the complete opposite of fair..

I agree with iOlrickx, there's no need to change anything. People who want to keep their Arceus rank more than anything else can choose tournament OR buy the tokens after the first one ends. Simple as that.

I think if there is an issue, it's that some teams will have an advantage. The V wave for the first 4 days is grass, water, water, grass. Members on those teams will be able to compete in both easily, where other teams might see reduced participation, affecting their overall ranking. If both were individual events, it wouldn't be an issue - but the team nature of type race changes the dynamic. I don't expect it to be changed, but it is a bit frustrating.

man ive given up on getting the egg prize. no matter how many eggs i hatch im always 100 points behind... so sad. im still going for the personal goals. i gotta try a different strategy for next time.
