Add more typeless field backgrounds

Perhaps instead of leaving the Artists Team to it, add an option to upload and use your own backgrounds for any field? Though this brings about art theft, eye-blinding colours, and possibly offending players issues. So I'm sure it would need some sort of approval system to work. But I do support more and different backgrounds. It just adds more opportunities to make certain aspects of the site more personally pleasing.

Self-done field backgrounds have been rejected before due to an approval system taking too much of the mods time I believe.

The fact that it would take the artists a lot of time and effort to make new backgrounds would be a really important thing to note... if the backgrounds didn’t already exist. They’re all pulled from the first Pokemon Mystery Dungeon game, and while one of the mods did say some of them are difficult to crop to the right ratio needed for the fields, I have to imagine at least a few more of them would fit fine.

I would like to also point out that in the thread I linked, Niet did mention the possibly (I use possibly here since it has been three years and things may have changed) having fields of custom design so that’s something worth noting. I’m not sure if it was obvious or not but I’m not against the idea. I would love ??? Fields. I just find it a bit of a headscratcher to suggest something that would be a thing at some point. Maybe if the options of ??? fields (when this ever get added) are still lackluster I would understand. I can only assume this is meant to breathe more life into the idea of new fields in general as it has been a while since the idea itself was mentioned based on what was stated and how a decent chunk of users who tend to use ??? fields.

I support this suggestion, but as it's already been approved I'm in favour of waiting to see what's in store instead of trying to push it to happen. ^^;

Since this has been approved, may I ask if there will be a way to change already bought fields to a new design after they are implemented? Since new designs aren't very helpful if someone already has a large amount of fields and the main issue was the lack of diversity in the backgrounds.
