Relics already have a use in the wishforge, and you can sell them to other players for currency.
If you really wanted to, you can autosell them for credits on your inventory page already. I wouldn't recommend it, but it's already a feature to "sell them for a currency to buy items and currency" with. Try exploring the site more before you start making suggestions :P
