On my second serious melan hunt, and over 2000 eggs now... Not sure whether that's a "you're just starting" number, or mediocre luck, but definitely more of a marathon than a sprint.

I hatched an early melan at 500ish eggs in my chain, but since then my hunt has been so cursed. I panic bought a z crystal for today and have yet to hatch a single special. There are people hatching 3 melans a day today and God I wish that was me.

I knew I'd post here eventually but wow. This Diancie hunt is something else. Hunting with full boosts (minus POTD I guess) every good sei day and I barely manage a shiny or two. My last albino was hatched at around 593 and I'm at almost 900 now. I've gotten one shiny today. 2 the last time I resumed with sei day.
