Species - Personality - History Ansley is properly classified as a persol, a persian-absol hybrid, but she identifies more as a persian because most of her physical appearance is inherited from her mother. Due to her hybrid nature she has always been somewhat unstable, the dark energies she gained from her father's side constantly threaten to overwhelm and destroy her body but through time and training she has learned to somewhat control this chaotic power. She also inherited her thicker back claws and her horn from her father, but due to mutations in her hybridization her horn remains short and dulled. Mutations prior to birth also gave rise to her odd coloration and her thinner tail with a split end.

At first glance Ansley comes off as cold and uncaring, she tends to avoid others and has little interest in socializing but deep down she cares about others wellbeing and would do anything in her power to help them. Generally she hangs out on the fringes of crowds, merely observing and collecting information for later use, but if she has something to share then she'll share. She can get self destructive though, willing to push herself too far once she's found a goal and it often takes a forceful push from her moirail to remind her that her own wellbeing is just as important.

At birth Ansley was sickly, her hybrid nature threatening to kill her before she took her first breath but thanks to her father's quick actions (and strange future sight) her chaotic dark energy was extracted and safely sealed into a pearl provided by her mother's humans. With that danger taken care of for a time she spent her early years in her mother's mansion or exploring the nearest town but the draw of her power was always there, wanting to be known and it slowly grew alongside her. This eventually led to an incident in town where she temporarily took control of the power and 'introduced' some local bullies to it. After that her father decided it was too dangerous to leave her untrained and so he took her with him during some of his travels. During one such training trip she came across Emesh and finally decided to explore on her own with her new friend. In time they eventually claimed and settled down on the farm.

Species - Personality - History Shadow is classified as a simple odd-colored winged ninetales, her wings and feathers appear to mimic the braviary line but it's unclear how much (if any) she actually shares with them. Her known family is all foxes, save an estranged arcanine uncle, so she's marked an oddity. Her wings grew in slowly but are large enough for flight (sometimes aided by her psychic powers) and her flames burn a bright blue.

Shadow is a naturally caring and friendly individual, she has no concept of hatred and rarely gets angry, but her hyperactive personality can quickly become a nuisance to those around her. She's also a klutz, quick to trip over her own feet in her eagerness to be a part of whatever is happening, and loves solving puzzles.

Shadow's early days are mostly shrouded in mystery until she joined the farm. She had many brothers and sisters but over time she became estranged from them, abandoned for being different, but she never let that get her down. Her earliest record is from a secret santa on the old farm that led her to joining the PokéFarm Secret Service and she gladly stood by their motto of spreading happiness whether the community wanted it or not. She retired some time before the group dissolved but still kept tabs on them 'til the end.

Species - Personality - History Emesh is a grass mew born of a wish to protect an ancient forest. His colors mimic leafeon (excluding his bright green eyes) and he has a ring of buds around his neck that occasionally extends into vines for carrying things. Generally though he relies on his psychic powers and his ability to transform to hide his unusual nature.

Emesh started out shy, avoiding others do to his status as a 'mythical' and his strange typing, but in time he grew into his species' natural playful tendencies. He dislikes having to be the voice of reason but can be serious when the situation calls for it, often only stepping up when others have already fallen, and prefers to avoid fighting unless pushed.

Emesh was born of a wish and thus had no immediate family for most of his life. He prayed to arceus and simply watched over the forest he was charged to protect but as time passed he grew bored of always hiding and watching. He started venturing further and further from his territory, taking on the appearance of a leafeon for those he came across, but it still wasn't enough. He wanted desperately to be free and it was during this time of longing that he met Enten. He had no clue who this mewtwo was but he sensed a kinship, a feeling Enten shared to the pointed that they called each other brother. Enten agreed to watch over the forest in Emesh's stead and using their connection set the mew free to do as he pleased.

Species - Personality - History Enten is a grass mewtwo cloned from Emesh's DNA by humans who were curious about the strange forest guardian. The guardian proved too elusive for a full cloning though so the lead scientist herself provided the additional DNA to create a stable specimen.

Enten is serious and logical, taking after his mother in that regard, and enjoys learning how things actually work. He wants to understand and will go a long way to get answers even if they turn out a little different than he was expecting. Though as a legendary he has a lot of power Enten's never been one to really get angry or use aggression, preferring instead to talk things out or find another way. Also while he doesn't show it much he retains a deep-seated sadness after being forced to flee from the lab because he instinctively knows that moment was the last he would ever share with his mother.

The group of scientists that created Enten were researchers studying the relationship between pokémon and their environment, specifically the link between habitat and type, but their methods were not always strictly 'legal'. In an effort to avoid removing wild pokémon from their homes these scientists utilized two main research methods, field work to study the pokémon in their natural environment and cloning to study those same species in a more controlled setting. These clones were raised separately by one or two individuals from the group acting as both surrogate parents and as trainers before eventually being given the choice go free and join their kind in the wild; many chose to stay after their study though and were promoted to a mix of assistant and general companion to their particular scientist. Enten himself was raised by the lead scientist and spent most of his time in her private lab, while she treated him as a son she feared what the world might try to do with a young legendary and she constantly urged him to stay hidden from other humans. Cloning itself however was outlawed and had to be done in secret, a secret that could not be kept forever and eventually rumors of 'illegal experimentation' reached the ears the lab's funders. Before they could begin their investigation though the lead scientist gathered all the research connected to Enten and erased all but a single flash drive that she gave to the young mewtwo before sending him off to find his 'brother'. She also sent away several of the younger scientists and their partners, not wanting their careers to be tainted by the raid to come, but the older members remained and turned themselves in willingly in the vague hope of preventing a manhunt and protecting the pokémon they had created.
