"Humans scare easily, you know?" He raised an eyebrow as Seyr explained the rules of the new world. "What do you mean, square one...?" He slowly turned to his shadow, putting his hand to it, then tapped the ground once, twice, then thrice rapidly, his hand only meeting snow every time. His frown returned, even deeper than before. "You've got to be kidding me." His voice was level, but quavered. No way of escaping conflict, nothing to defend himself with, and none of his loved ones would even know if something were to happen to him! He closed his eyes and wrapped his arms around himself, faintly aware that his breathing was getting faster. 'Don't overthink, Lambda. Try to focus on the here and now.' He told himself. He stowed away his panic, staying focused on the person in front of him. He was at least glad Seyr wasn't in any pain.
