y'know when you're a young asian girl (around kindergarten or so) and people tease you for being asian then its struck you and you basically don't appreciate your own race then it stays like that for many years until you're a teenager and have diff thoughts like when the stop asian hate movement was active in society which was when i wasn't ashamed of my family's culture anymore. i'm proud of my asian descent ever since then just listened to yun jin's opera from genshin,, it was so beautiful :sob: (its in mandarin chinese, we speak cantonese chinese but i understood abt 10% of lyrics so now my egos inflated)
