Unfortunately not the Gyarados for the Nidoking. I usually go one step below as far as the swaping goes. Nidoran is a 5k egg, so I would swap with another 5k or a 3k egg. I would swap anyone with a 3k egg hatch for the Gyarados though since Magikarp is a 1k egg!
